Great little store with a wide variety of things - exceeded my expectations! Not much in regards to fresh produce or meat, but definitely a good place to grab things when you run out and don’t want to go far! When the roads are bad, this store will be a blessing and the rest of the time it’s sheer convenience! My teenage son describes it as a “great spot to grab snacks!”

Great to have on base in a pinch when you need a quick soda or milk gallon but be prepared with how over priced most of the items are.

Ok place for a poor cluster of homes. Sometimes the prices are overpriced, others pretty cheap. I used to go here all the time when I lived on Hercules (2013 - 2017) and Albatross (2018). Last time I went here, I bought a Gatorade ($2) and a jelly tube ($1). Sometimes the workers make mistakes though. The major, MAJOR flaw is they removed the gas station. The kept the gas station until Base became residential (they got KI Sawyer.)

Prices are expensive, you pay for convenience. Employees are great, except for the older gentleman who I witnessed being very rude to a customer, because he got frustrated and flustered. Not very good customer service on his part. I felt bad for the customer. He was put on the spot and embarrassed in front of a line of people!

Charging nearly $5 for a carton of eggs is just wrong. Breakfast is supposed to be a meal even those in need can afford. Your robbing your community and robbing children of the much needed calories they deserve. Shame on you, help and give back to the people that shop with you even if it's just cheaper bread, eggs and milk. Please do better.

The Shoppette is a small bodega selling basic groceries & cleaning supplies along with Beer, Wine, Spirits, and Cigarettes servicing the Sawyer area, prices can be a bit high on some items. But the clerks are always friendly and willing to help the store is always clean and presentable with a small town vibe

Very convenient. I drove a car with no brakes into the lot and left with no problem, after calling to see if they had brake fluid, which they did. Very efficient customer service, always reminding me of when I forget something on the counter. I'll be back...

Working here and meeting all the customers has been amazing! We have most items needed for day to day quick things mostly grocery alcohol and tobacco. Prices are a little on the higher side. But worth it for the convenience of being so close by!

Charles the owner of the store is a really great person. If you need something, he'll do his best to get it in for you. I love the family atmosphere he gives to the store. He treats you with the respect you don't really see these days

Small in & out convenience store. Has surprising inventory. If the owner doesn't stock it she will get it. Would be nice if they were open a little later than 10pm, especially on the weekends(maybe till MN). Overall a good place to shop for forgotten items.

Decent staff but the prices are outrageous. I'm not lying when I say this. A pound of bacon is $12.00I will give them credit for adding Krispy Kreme mini donuts and honeybuns to purchase. If you are going food shopping I'd highly recommend going to a different store because you can easily spend $100 on food without effort.They also need to clean the place. The floors are sticky and just gross! And it seems like the staff just don't care. It is a convenient little store though. If you live on base and don't have a vehicle this is your go to store. Am giving 3 stars

Gave a friend a ride and it was too crowded and over priced $ 7.99 for a 12 pack of Mountain Dew ? Although I do realize it's the only place on base (that I know of) so no competition

Always greeted with a smile, friendly sevice, fresh sandwiches, and stocked shelves! Quit wasting ur time on the Crossroads and Kountry korners! Stop by the Shoppette for all you needs! Their Never out of anything, and they value their customers, unlike other local retailers (listed!)

The people who work there are usually nice and usually don't mind helping if you need it.People keep saying the prices on food are high but food prices are high throuout michigan there isn't much of a difference between the shoppette and any other normal grocery store

Staff is kind, regularly stocks. If something is out, just let them know. 9 times out of 10 it's either on the way or will be with the next shipment.

Prices are outrageous. When you are getting charged $12 for a lb of Oscar meyer bacon you know you're getting taken advantage of. Dust on food in the isles. If I could've given it a zero I would have.
