Got some gerbils and some guppy here. Did alot of research on gerbils before we got them and staff was very knowledgeable based on the research we did before getting them. Such as get more than one because they're social and they chew plastic so no plastic cages. Definitely recommend them. Not extremely pricey either. And our kids loved looking around at all the animals.

I went to bazaar pets to just have a look. Then I seen there african clawed frogs and thought they were so cute and asked the owner about them and I was sold lol I and my family love our acf Romeo and juliet. There Very loved and spoiled I have a 10 gallon set up for now till I get my big setup for them😊 the owner of bazaar pets really seemed to not want to sell the act to me I could feel this so I asked why I felt he didnt want to sell them to me. He says I just dont want you to be back in a week upset they eat your fish😂 he was so kind and honest I loved it and then told him I have no fish so then he seemed more enthused to sell me them. This gentlemen also gave me one half of and a little starter bag of frog food for free.

We had an issue with some frozen rats and they where quick to help us and fix the problem! We have bought an algea eater that looks like a sting ray here. Today we went for more rats 😂 we brought home a California King also! We name him Ash. Thank you for all you guys do!!!! We are very happy customers and we know you all do great with the animals you offer.

Amazing customer service, along with very knowledgeable new owners. They have a very wide variety of animals and great prices. All fish I’ve purchased so far have been very healthy and eating well. They also buy from local breeders which truly supports the hobby in the best way!

I have had my husband get lots of crickets, bugs,etc. for our bearded dragon here several times ,but I went for the first time recently. I stood at the register, which was about 4 feet away from the lady who was opening boxes ,and she completely ignored me (and my mom). After at least 7 minutes ,a man (the owner I'm assuming) came and asked if we were ready? I told him we've been there for about 7 minutes, and we would have left if we didn't NEED the bugs.

Small inventory on fish & products. They may want to do online orders & coupons. Very nice owner. Rabbits & guinea pigs are beautiful & hopefully people are serious purchasers. Not just for the holiday gift giving.

Very nice place! The owners were very nice. We chatted about aquarium fish and such. I purchased some quality fish there as well. The prices were reasonable. I noticed they had some very neat rainbows there; fish that are difficult to find at your run-of-the-mill PetSmart or Petco. I would definitely recommend this place. Local pet stores like this are not very common anymore!

I wish to work at this place when I'm old enough! i want to work here because 1, the people that own it are so nice, 2, the animals are so friendly and they are so nice to talk to (especially the rats), and 3, keeping care of animals is one of my life goals, and I want to do it at this amazing shop in greenville. the bad comments on here are not true, they probably went in there once and put their bias on them, trying to make them look bad. I've been in there multiple times and each time is more exciting. they ask me if I want to hold the animals, and they try and get their animals enough human interaction as they need. I love this place, and I hope I can work here when I'm older.

I am a regular here if not twice a week maybe more. Sherrill and Doug have fine establishment and very great. They take time to order special orders for. Answer ur questions and a pillar of what our community needs to be like. I have bought more then a hand full animals from them and tanks and accessories. If they don't have they always know when there shipment is coming and when they will have more. I highly recommend this local business over the big pet stores.

Been here twice due to a in process move from Traverse to Ionia and this is the closest pet store to Ionia that carries the Anoles i need as feeders for my Solomon Island Tree Boa. Called ahead and was told there were anoles and I could come by and grab one. So I made the half hour drive out there to make my purchase. Upon arriving, the employee grabs his fish net and starts trying to catch me a anole. Three minutes later, he still hasnt caught it, so i offer assistance and he tells me that its a liability. So, he continues to try to catch the anole for me. Another minute goes by and 4 or 5 more customers walk in the door. He immediately gets frustrated and tells me he cant catch said small lizard out of the tank.... As he's got too much going on in the store. He makes several attempts to call out to the other customers to see if they needed any help in which one replies, they did. He helps them and I wait patiently for him to get back to helping me, in which he wasn't able to although the other customers in the store didn't require assistance. Long story, short. Drove a hour to purchase a $8 lizard, in which the employee wasnt competent enough to catch. Hopefully, they hire more competent employees. I know people are taking what they can get atm but.... Seriously.

There is two owner's that work there the guy is nice & friendly but her not so much she is very rude. You can't go in there to get food for most of your reptiles because they don't believe in that l take it. If you asked them if you could order it for you she gets very rude talking after the matter. if you going to have a shop that sells reptiles then you should have food for them. I don't see them lasting that long in Greenville. Greenville needs a good pet store for sure with nice people that runs it & works there.

Great prices and I come here to get crickets for my spiders. I bought coco fiber from here too. Helped me decide what id need for substrate. In fact im about to head over now to get some crickets. They just opened people give them time to settle in and get better organized geeze..

Quite simply, this place is a horror show. It should be shut down. The animals are incredibly unhealthy, particularly the reptiles. Sad that the owners care more about talking to each other when customers are there than taking care of the animals. I honestly have no idea where all the good reviews are coming from. I suspect they are having their friends and family review to counteract the one-star reviews. No one would feel positive after leaving this place. I think their lack of professionalism and care is quite apparent in the way they lash out at anyone leaving honest reviews.

Love it here I got my first reptile here he was calm and well maintained. The staff is awesome and super knowledgeable. I also got a awesome albino dwarf hamster here.

The hospitality of a store owner is just not there... came in one day and my friend was asking a couple questions about the store bird ( not looking to buy him obviously because he wasn’t for sale) and the lady had snipped at her with I quote “ why so many questions” then we felt very uncomfortable but continued to stand and admire the bird because he is a real cutie then he started to make some loud noises which he looked uncomfortable so I had continued to back up so he would have some more space which I had reassured the lady why I had done that after she had accused me of encouraging the bird to go on the floor. Very sad we couldn’t just learn about the cute guy and admire a new store in town... felt very uncomfortable and unwelcoming :(

Was there today and was completely discussed. It smelled so bad in the entire store. Some of the animals didn’t have food or water. The fish tanks where nasty and dirty. All the animals cages where dirty. Took 30 mins just to get checked out. Was tripping over things in the store I will not come back very nasty. I felt so so bad for the animals.

Small quaint little fish shop in town. Just passing through and decided to stop and shop. We wasn't disappointed, left out with 50 bucks worth of fishies :) Thanks Kailey and owners for the great customer service. If in town we will sure stop back through. #Saginaw, Mi

Slightly crowded at times and not many fish choices. It takes a while to actually check stuff out due to the cashier even though i only got one item it took a good 3-4 minutes to buy and get change for.
