We brought our 5 year old cat in who was a regular patient there for anorexia. She had stopped eating and lost a good amount of weight. They ran blood work, did an ultrasound and gave fluids in hospital a couple of times. They treated her for a total of 12 days with no answers. I had to rush her into the ER vet after hours over the weekend and within an hour she was diagnosed with cancer after taking an X-ray and performing more blood work. She had to be put down. I am distraught to think if an X-ray had been done sooner, it may have been caught in time and possibly treated with steroids. We’ll never know. They recommended blood transfusion either locally or at Michigan State. Which we were about to do. Would we have paid almost $5,000 to have that done without an X-ray done prior?? I don’t think they are aware she’s deceased but we were supposed to bring her back in for more blood work and they’ve never called to remind us of that or see how she’s doing. I won’t be bringing any of my animals back. She was a severely sick cat who was dying and worsening every day and to not have a follow up is unacceptable.

My brother been going to this vet for a good number of years. For over three years he kept telling the vet in charge of his dog that there was something wrong with her . The vet acted like she had no time to listen to him and kept treating her for other stuff.He took his best friend in again his regular vet wasn't there so another vet took a look at her . One look and the vet knew what it was it was cancer. If the original vet would have listen to him Belle would of lived another 5 years.

Last Tuesday we had to put down our 13 year old Gracie. We called their office and took her in. The staff from bottom to top were so compassionate and gentle I would definitely recommend them and willUse their services in the future.

Was not from around the area. Only in town for 30mins before having to rush my Rottweiler here. She had a full tummy or water and played to hard which turned her stomach. They called it bloat, she needed emergency surgery that would of costed around $4000 and they wouldn't of been able to do it there so we would of had to take her another hour away. This price wasn't includes what we had done there. Once she told me the price I knew right then what we had to do. 😢 we couldn't afford to get her surgery done. Even if we could afford it she would of never made it another hour away she would of died on the way. So under the circumstances they were very kind and sympathetic. Both the nurse and the doctor helped out the best they could. Just wish it didn't have end in putting my baby to sleep. For be a out of towner, yes I would recommend this place.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Grayling Animal Hospital. They have taken care of our dog since he was a puppy, and they took the best care of our Daisy when it was time to say goodbye to her. We will always be grateful to them.

I brought my dog here after finding him unable to walk after work. It was late and they let me bring him in right before they closed. They took such good care of him and were very kind to us even though they should have been going home for the day. The treatment they gave him enabled him to start walking the next day! I'm so grateful for this staff.

My husband, dogs and I we're traveling through Michigan doing some camping/hiking.One of our dogs broke a toenail and was in a lot of pain and bleeding. This clinic was able to get us in and taken care of right away. The staff was friendly and the office was clean. Thanks again!

Grayling Hospital for animals is wonderful. Staff is great and helpful. Appointments are quick to get in. A little pricey but you are paying for all the wonderful services and being treated like you are the only patient they are seeing at that moment. Would recommend them.

Today was my first visit with my dog for an ear infection. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The doctor was great, she gave me a ton of information and options for treatment. I will definitely make Grayling Hospital for Animals our Vet Clinic.

The only place I could get emergency care for my dog who was mauled by another dog. Vet was kind and knowledgeable. Call as early as possible. Gaylord vets were too busy with "regular customers."

Extremely compassionate people here. A year after my best friend passed I think of them and the strength they showed that day when I could not. They were able to see me on very short notice and did not turn me away. They cared. I will always be grateful to these people, even if I met them on one of the worst days of my life. I recind my previous review. This hospital misdiagnosed my dog to the point she died of a blockage that could have easily been cleared. I told them 8 TIMES MY dog was suffering. Insisted she had a UTI. Well a UTI won't kill a dog.

We appreciate how friendly and professional they are! They have taken great care of our Bella! Recently we had a little scare with our pup but they fit her in right away and got her feeling good again. Great people work here and they really care! Bella actually loves going to the vet!
