It's only a great place because of one employee that's always working when I shop there. He's an awesome person in general with a friendly smile and I love the cool dreads and awesome style! Thank you for NOT ACTING like most of your co-workers, rude, useless with absolutely zero smiles! Stay you!!! Prices are not the lowest by far, but selection keeps customers coming back instead of going to save a lot in my opinion.

Shout out to the employee who helped me bring my groceries to my car because I had my baby with me, in his car seat, and a full cart of food. That was awesome. The staff are great!

They have many things but I find the store a little dirty, the staff are courteous when asked questions about where to find stuff, the hot food and salad department are fast. But last time I bought hot chicken strips they were dried out but the previous time were delicious. I will try them again next time in Grayling.

This store is amazing! Compared to mine in Houghton lake, it will make the 30 minute drive so worth it. So glad I stopped in for hotdog buns to grill out while fishing Bright and Glory. Tons of product choices. I had given up in my store. Had a problem with my entry into drawing on my receipt, but they are working on fixing it.

The employees are great. The products are not. Especially the moldy produce! The produce that is in the bags, like Cauliflower and broccoli all molded. Garlic bag, mold. The brussell sprouts are barely hanging on. I think maybe the temperature is off or not set correct near the produce? Maybe??

Won't shop there again. Very poor customer service. Cashier asked me if I was a veteran and I said yes. She held out her hand like she wanted something so I opened my wallet and showed her my military ID card. She said no, I want your driver's license. I asked her why she wanted my driver's license and she said "do you want your beer?" So I said look I'm 70 years old and I just showed you my military ID. Do you doubt that I'm old enough to buy beer? Then some freak wearing beads in his beard ,a floor length ridiculous looking sweater and face piercing galore said that they not only wanted to see my license but that they would need to scan it into their data base. I told him they could keep their beer and he said that we don't have to sell it to you so I told him he could keep all th groceries too. Scan my driver's license into there data base? No way Family Fare!

There’s an employee named joe that checked us out after getting groceries for my family, and as I started putting my grocery’s on the counter he greets me by saying “Jesus Christ” while he’s shaking his head and then goes “what you’re buying the whole store.” First off it’s a grocery store so yes I’m buying my grocery’s for the week, second off why on earth are you working at a grocery store if you are going to complain about doing you’re job literally just scanning my food and bagging it, not to mention as he was scanning it he was whipping the food down and dropping my produce while cussing and throwing a temper tantrum in front of my kid. I definitely understand ppl having a bad day and stuff but we were being kind to him and this is how he acted. Maybe reconsider you’re job I don’t think customer service fits you joe.

This is a Great super market for the town of Grayling. Very easy to find what you are looking for. The staff that works here is always a Great help if you need anything. One of the managers is so friendly that every time we come into store , he is always asking if we need help finding anything and cracking jokes. Such a pleasant place to shop.

I think his name is Brian, the guy that wears a kilt? He canceled my sale and told me to never come back as no one will wait on me. I had already paid for my purchase, we had exchanged some words and he walked away but came right back and told me to leave. I spent a lot of money in there every week, ask Bob the cashier or Diamond. I will never come back for any reason, I would rather walk to Gaylord then drive to this store any longer. The customers in line behind me heard it all, I hope they were able to see how much "customer" service there is.

It's a nice clean market. Prices are decent considering it's a smaller store. Seems just a tad bit smaller than the one in Grayling, MI (about 15 minutes north) but definitely a decent selection of things if you don't want to drive extra

On a Sunday before the holiday, the store was really busy. The staff was super efficient. The deli staff was pleasant and quick. The cashiers were working hard. Thank you!

This place is fantastic! And yes, there is a Starbucks inside. Made my shopping experience a lot better. This should be the model store for the rest of the chain. Extremely clean bathrooms, easy parking. Good selection of meat’s. Friendly staff.

On 09/07/2023 at 2:18PM (13:18hrs) I sent my retarded wife into the store. I told her she could buy a scratch off lottery ticket for $5 so she ordered a Fab 4 in bin number 23. But Eileen at the courtesy desk gave her a $30 ticket and dismissed my wife when she tried to tell her that she gave her the wrong ticket. So I paid 25 extra dollars because Eileen couldn't properly serve a retarded person. Eileen was in too much of a hurry to listen to my retarded wife when she protested the purchase of the ticket. Now I'm out $25 I didn't intend to spend today. I'm pissed. More than disappointed.

I will still rate a 4 because usually have great experiences when I go. I will no let one checker ruin their rating. She needs to learn customer service. Yes, I work retail, but I know that you need to keep things to your self. She needs to learn to not say what everything she is thinking out loud. Such as, you can go over to such care service there is no waiting, and would make my line shorter ... or complain when someone wants cash back.... um your store offers it so you just need to smile and honor it, may not be in the bills they want but not complain about it....But like I said normally I have great experiences there and enjoy shopping there, I even prefer them on my scripts over others!

Super staff ! On Saturday August 6th 2022 I was checking out and selected the cash back option for 100 dollars. I was trying to be as expeditious as possible as there were other customers behind me waiting to check out. I inadvertently forgot to collect my cash back. Praise jesus there was a regular customer behind me who turned the money into the customer service desk. Family fare associate Taylor called me the next day to inform me of my mistake and told me that I was the last person in line when the transaction took place. She asked me a few questions to confirm my purchase and much to my satisfaction she said the money was at the service desk waiting for me to pick it up. I am so overwhelmed at the honesty of both the customer and associate Taylor that they both did the right thing to get the money back to the rightful owner. As it was no easy task on taylors part , many thanks to you Taylor and the unidentified customer. 😊
