I had used Whiskers for boarding a pet several years ago when I lived in the area. We decided to use them again, even though we are now 45 minutes away. We just love it! Very clean property. Sooo many options for rooms and extras. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our girls got to share a room and they looked very happy there. You can get pupdates while you are traveling.Highly recommend!!

My dog and I were greeted by very cheerful staff the minute we walked in. It was a quick and easy process. After day care, several staff spoke with me about their observations and it was obvious they really assessed my dog because they had her figured out exactly! They knew more about her play style, comfort zones and personality than I have figured out in the 3 weeks since I adopted her. Every staff person I met was kind, informative and welcoming. Great first experience and there will be many more to come!

We are so grateful to have whiskers as an option for our highly reactive pup. They are so accommodating and communication is top notch. We are able to leave and have full confidence our dog is safe and cared for. Would recommend to anyone in the area and especially for those pups who are reactive also!

Incredibly clean and welcoming atmosphere! All of the staff were kind and knowledgeable every time I spoke to them, both over the phone and in person. It was very apparent that my dog’s well being and happiness are their first priority, and they really made me feel like she was just as special to them as she is to me. I’m actually looking forward to my vacation now, knowing that she is in such good hands! The report card they sent home for her initial play assessment was the cherry on top! It was very detailed and honest, so it really let me see how she behaved the whole day with each new stimulus. I have already started recommending them to everyone! Bertie came home relaxed and tired out, so I could tell that she had a great day!

What an amazing place!! The facility is beautiful and the people are wonderful! They really do love our pets as much as we do! We always know that they are in good hands being cared for and loved. The front desk is the face of Whisker’s, and they do not disappoint with their attention and friendly demeanor as you walk in. Daycare, boarding, and grooming has always served us well. If our pets could talk, they would totally agree! They seem so happy after a day of love and play at Whisker’s. They are dedicated to providing top notch services. We can’t say enough about how happy we are with Whisker’s Resort and Pet Spa!

It was very easy to schedule and get our new family member in for good grooming. Very decently priced as well. The groomer was very good with our cat Calvin, he seemed to enjoy his new look. I'd recommend giving them a chance to see for yourselves.

We took our Husky here to be groomed a few times and once for boarding. They do a great job with deshedding him. And we felt safe leaving him in there care when we were gone on vacation. I highly recommend Whiskers.

Whiskers atmosphere and attitude is spot on for making my Aussie feel at home. He gets excited when we enter the building because he knows he will have fun. We use Whiskers for boarding and for grooming. They definitely treat my dog like family!

Our Seven month old puppy , Artex, went in for a trial visit, and he had an absolutely wonderful time.He’s a little apprehensive and nervous at first when he meets new people and new dogs So I was a little anxious about him but it turned out so well.I received two updates on Artex, One from Scott, and one from Taylor!They let me know that he was adjusting well, and was having a good time with the other dogs and warmed up to the staff.I would highly recommend Whisker’s!

Our dog is a very reactive and anxious dogs, but the staff at Wiskers did a fantastic job making her feel comfortable and safe. We were so thrilled to hear good news from the daily updates, and commend everyone there for being so patient and good to our moderately-crazy border collie. We have taken our bulldog there three times while away on holiday.We cannot say enough about how incredible the staff and services are at Whiskers. While some what pricy, we cannot beat their level of service and care for our baby boy.We will continue to go back every time we need quality boarding for our pup.

I have used Whiskers for over six years, both for my now senior dog and my puppy. Every boarding and day care experience has been more than satisfactory! Even when an accident happened (totally no fault, just a freak thing), they handled it quickly and made sure my dog got the appropriate veterinary care immediately. I was contacted and informed the whole way through. It is because of how they handled the situation that I will not take my dogs any other place. I continue to be impressed by improvements they make to their facilities and services offered.

Im not one to rate my experience, but this is an exception. I have two Rottweilers , one that is people reactive and one that is dog reactive. It has been horrible to try to find a place safe place for them to stay without me worrying.Not only did whiskers provide This no contact space for my babies, but they also have the BEST customers service. They email and txt back right away, and they’re the friendliest people. I’ve talked to at least four different employees and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care and that my dogs had everything that they needed. I’ve boarded them three times and had such a positive experience.I’ll always go with them!!

Pet loving and friendly facility with great staff. Multiple fence layers, so even an escapee will still be safe behind fencing. All toys dishwasher cleansed for protection vs Covid-19. Evaluations for similar size and personality playgroups for daycare and boarding. Grooming, daycare, training and boarding available. Boarding and daycare include playtime twice daily in supervised and cleaned settings.l of small groups. Parking lot drop off and pick up only for now due to Covid-19. Your pet will be well loved at Whiskers.

Whiskers is hands down the best dog daycare and boarding I’ve experienced. My dog has been going there for 3 years and we love it! There is a mix of play time and relax time for the dogs, which is healthier than always being in a space with other dogs. The staff is extremely supportive and great with the animals! I couldn’t recommend Whiskers more.

I cannot say enough good things about Whiskers Resort & Pet Spa. We have an (almost) 2 year old Goldendoodle who has a little separation anxiety. My husband and I were planning a vacation and were searching for a boarding facility. Whiskers exceeded all and every expectation we had! We took our dog there for daycare first, then one overnight experience before dropping him off for 6 nights. The staff made us feel immediately at ease and confident with our choice of picking Whiskers. The customer service is truly incredible. Staff were always kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. My biggest concern in boarding our dog was finding a place where he would be treated well. I never had to worry about Odin while we were away. He enjoyed his Penthouse Suite, (spoiled!) and all the extra group play time he received. We received daily updates with a picture attached, which we looked forward to every day. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for daycare or boarding. We won't go anywhere else. Thank you to your staff for providing a great experience for both pet and owner.

Great experience with Whiskers! We have been dropping off our two other dogs for a few years and my girlfriend wanted to try them out for the first time with her older chihuahua. He did wonderful and she appreciated all the extra attention with her senior dog! It’s tough leaving our pets but even harder with an older dog . We’re excited to book another trip and now know we have a happy place for all the dogs to go! Highly recommend this wonderful place !

Our rock star Eddie loves Whiskers. Staff take good care of him and he is always happy togo there. We love the personal care our dogger gets every time. Trustworthy staff who know how to play with dogs are found here consistently.

BEST overnight stay for pets in Grand Rapids that I’ve found! They understood my dogs severe allergies, they offer a lot of room options to make the dogs comfortable, the staff was incredibly nice and obviously love dogs. They sent us an update on the second day with a photo and were honest about my small dogs extreme anxiety. She hid under the bed in the room for pretty much the entire stay and they went in and added things under the bed to make her more comfortable. We got complimentary dog treats along with a “first stay” goodie bag which included more treats and some toys and a handwritten card. We don’t like boarding whenever possible, but we will absolutely go back to Whiskers. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and that’s loving care and professionalism.

We’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Our dog Maverick has been boarded there 4 or 5 times now and has been treated like a king. He is anxious, reactive, and takes daily medication and the staff always says how much of a sweetheart he is and keeps up with his needs. They are great at responding, communicating, and treating your animals well.It’s so tough to find a good boarding place for your larger breed dogs, and but I would recommend Whiskers to anyone!

We bring our little Puppy to Whiskers and they take care of her so well! All of the staff is very friendly and you can tell they all love dogs! Picking her up is always a blast too because we get an update on how she did and she is so excited to see us and so happy. I think it is the best place in Grand Rapids for dogs. Shout out to Jessica who is always so sweet and friendly too! Her and so many others here are what make this place so amazing! Keep up the good work team!

We have used Whiskers for grooming, daycare and boarding over the last year and they have exceeded expectations in every way. Great amenities, great value and great service. Definitely not the cheapest but you get such great service that it’s more than worth it.
