Purchase a pair of readers from Walgreens on Northland drive.About 3 months ago a screw came out.I went back to Walgreens to exchange for a different pair and the manager would not approve the return. Poor customer service. the pharmacy also has poor service.this happens when hired a kid for manager. Go to family fare across the road fast friendly service

Had a very positive post Christmas holiday experience. The pharmacist went above and beyond to help fill a prescription for my son and was proactive in calling me back even though he was very busy. Thank you!

This is for the store on BELTINE AND PLAINFIELD ave, in Plainfield township-The store is managed by incompetent people.I’ve been using this Walgreens for 33 years‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️. UNTIL I WAS LITERALLY KICKED OUT!I purchased photos and the girl handed me the photos then walked away. I asked her why she didn’t ring me up and with a snotty attitude said that she would. I told her nevermind and tried to find the manager. She apparently found him before I did with a totally different story and I tried telling him what happened. He cut me off and said I’m being disruptive then TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE STORE!!!!I called the corporate office and no one from corporate called me back.I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A STORE THAT DISRESPECTS THEIR CUSTOMERS. I’M 66 years old and have never been treated this horrible. CUSTOMERS DO NOT MATTER AT THE WALGREENS ON BELTINE AND PLAINFIELD. GRAND RAPIDS.I HAVE TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS TO STAY AWAY FROM SHOPPING IN THAT STORE.THAT MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED‼️‼️‼️‼️

Great deals and a wide selection of goods. The staff is always super helpful knowledgeable about what is in the store and where things are located. You can get basically anything here from makeup, health products, food, alcohol, perceptions, and even get photos developed or a passport photo taken. They also have a great program through several insurance companies where approved healthy snacks and OTC items can be bought for free with the insurance benefit.

Twice in the last week I have had issues here. First, I did curbside - waited in my car for 15 mins and finally had to go inside to get my items. Took a while to find an employee, then she kept saying "I didn't know you were here!" I followed all the steps - what the heck? Then she almost didn't give me my whole order and I had to correct that for her.Today, I'm home sick and ordered delivery items to help with being sick. I was accidentally given someone else's order, too! So I called, waited through the five minutes of prompts, waited on hold while the manager researched what happened, then he told ME to contact Door dash to get it sorted out.What?! No! Don't offer services you can't sustain. I've had good experiences here in the past and I know staffing is hard so I've been patient. But this was just ... I feel bad for the person who won't be getting their order now because Walgreens couldn't handle it.

Compared to other Walgreens it is above average in store environment, staff and checkout time. I would recommend it.

For being such a big pharmacy chain, you think they would have it together. But I honestly don’t understand how they can be the ONLY pharmacy that is not open during lunch, and I just went to pick up a script in the afternoon and they have a sign up ‘NO PhARmacist on duty, sorry you can’t get your script today.’ Get it together corporate!!! This is not acceptable! I need my prescription!!! :( time to find another pharmacy!

They're currently 16 days late on filling my prescription. Today I went in to check on my prescription and they told me it could be fulfilled in person. 40 minutes later they told me it needed to be ordered which means it will another 2 days. I never get a called when my prescription is ready so I doubt I'll get one this time. 18 days late on fulfilling a prescription is absurd.

Do not get your booster or any vaccines here. They are the worst. Appointment was for 1:45 arrived 1:25 because they say be here 15 minutes early or you could lose your place. Don't worry, they won't be on time. With the exception of one young girl, the staff is rude an unprofessional. I am not sure I would get prescriptions there either. It was so unorganized.

We just moved to the area. I have been to this pharmacy three time and each experience has been terrible. They are so overcrowded inside that today I decided to go to the drive up. Only one lane was open and I was number two in line. The person in front of me was there for a long time. When it was finally my turn I pulled up and was rudely informed that the drive-up was for COVID testing only. I was told that there were signs "everywhere." I drove back around to check - there is only one small home made sign that was nearly impossible to see. I would guess no more than one in 10 would notice the sign. While I was checking for signs, two other cars pulled up and were turned away. I guess they didn't see the sign either. I parked, went in and waited in line at least 6 deep. When I got finally got my subscription and informed them the sign was not visible outside, I was again treated rudely. My prescription took three days to fill and 30 minutes+ to pick up. This may be the most poorly run/staffed pharmacy I have ever frequented.

Went in today and my Husband bought me coughdrops because i was sick.... the cashier wished everyone in line a merry christmas ... everyone but my husband... and he wished the cashier first..... absolutely no other word can be used but racist... to treat another person DIFFERENTLY because of their skin color... and not wish them a merry christmas back.... all I can say is I hope your staff checks their behavior .... racism is wrong and god will not let you into heaven, christian or not if you dont know how to treat your OWN SPECIES. I would never recommend this branch to any of my friends and family. Inexcusable abhorant behavior! I am downright disgusted and shocked that people are still this cold, ignorant and mean towards their own species, in a time when we are all supposed to be spreading peace and good will towards men . Hypocritical and brainless .... because smart people with sound hearts dont behave this way.This is a shameful way of acting inside a public place. Shameful.

Received a Covid test and someone did not put the state on the sample. Consequently the lab rejected the sample. Called walgreens and they could not help me. Called the phone number on the data sheet and they could not help me. Basically no accountability by anyone for the issue. No way to find out if this will occur again. In the past while going to the pharmacy the people behind the counter were so busy it looked like pandemonium. People not knowing how to enter data. They need to have more people behind the counter with specific responsibilities. Maybe it is a mistake to have pharmacies handling these new responsibilities brought on by covid or they need to staff up to handle them.

Only to find out they didn’t fill my prescription even though they had been calling me three days prior and I confirmed it was ready by calling them the day before I came to get it…..

Not good for prescription refills. There’s always a wait, which has been made worse because the drive through is closed. Staff seem overworked. Some are rude and grumpy, others have been good.Update: still terrible. Some nice staff though, just poorly managed.

Janet the night time manager has horrible customer service skills and is very rude! Just looking at the reviews you can see this location is one of the worst to visit! They should learn to do their job! Customers come first in this industry!

Convenient and quick. But there is one reason I shop here rather than anywhere else for cosmetics and her name is Shannen! She is always so helpful and knows tons about the products. She’s always friendly, vivacious and caring. Walgreens has a real gem there so I hope they appreciate her!

the pharmacy is over capacity, ive w8ed 3 days for the script and ive called multiple times to get it and they say itll be done in a half hour, yea not. the drive thru is always busy with a hour w8 everytime. switching to a less high traffic store 🤧

This pharmacy is very busy. You will most likely have a long wait for your prescription. I spent 43 minutes on hold this morning to speak with a pharmacist, and still did not get through. I plan to go elsewhere from now on.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR PCR TESTING! the lab they send it to is call AEGIS and they will not return your result within 72 hours. if you have flight or travelling, YOU WILL MISS YOUR FLIGHT. AVOID GETTING TESTED HERE AT ALL COST. Try an urgent care if you need your result in 24 hours.

Service here is deplorable. Twice now maintenance medications were not ready by the time the previous script ran out. So, no medication. Service is nonexistent. You will not have prescriptions on time & have huge wait times! Go somewhere else!

This Walgreens pharmacy is horrific.Long wait times, terrible customer service, and they never answer the phone. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

Searched the website but according to the site, the actual store doesn't stock the items, called the store and was answered with "Walgreens" , I said good morning and asked about a product I was looking for, before I finished the clerk just said I would have to search the website and hung up.WOW thanks for all that help. Looks like I'll just have to find another pharmacy , not that anybody really cares or will even read this except to edit it out.

My husband and I had a frustrating experience recently when trying to purchase beer, and are taking our business elsewhere. At checkout with our beer, the cashier asked to see both of our IDs. Because I didn't have my ID on me, the cashier refused to sell my husband beer (we're both in our 30s). This policy makes no sense, and will lose customers. How will any adult purchase alcohol if their child or teenager is with them and doesn't have an ID? Walgreen's needs to change their policy or we will continue to shop elsewhere.
