I've been driving past this place forever thought I'd stop in and give it a try. I ordered two chili dogs add a large chocolate malt. I thought the chili dogs were good no different than any other hot dog place. The chocolate malt was just a tag too thick but it was still good. Luckily coit isn't a heavily traffic road so backing out wasn't an issue. I sat outside on one of the kids picnic tables. Overall experience was enjoyable.

Great food. We love the brisket. Sweet treats tasty too. Can be very busy on a nice day. Staff is hardworking and pleasant so line moves along. Small picnic area. Many order to go. Be prepared to park on roadside as there are just 3 parking spots out front..Wheelchair accessibility: A challenge. You could roll up to window but it's set up for standing adults. Paved area for ordering. Picnic area grass. Narrow areas to picnic area and exit line. No handicapped parking. I bring an able friend and wait in car.

Found Too Talls while looking through Google reviews. Parking was confusing but the customer service was amazing. We both ordered cheeseburgers. I got chili cheese fries and my friend got fried mushrooms. I loved it and was so affordable. I'd rank the burger as good as 5 Guys. We didn't get ice cream time. On the weekend they have BBQ and serve brisket. I will be back to try that and ice cream.

Their hot dogs are way better than those from a well-know Grand Rapids place (the one that sounds like a yesterday thing).Still not my #1 favorite, but it's just a matter of personal preference. People here seem to prefer soft, semi-sweet buns, and beef franks. I personally prefer a less soft bun, a hybrid between a baguette and a sub bun, without any sweetness. And franks made with pork meat. But that's just because I miss Chilean "completos".Their French fries are very good. Very savory.Again, I prefer them with just salt, but theirs are still very good.Anyway, they told me that Too Tall's place changed ownership a couple of years ago. I had tried their burgers a few years ago (delicious), and their banana splits (the best). We'll try them again soon, and then will see if those are as good as before. They probably are.Customer service follows the example of the previous owners: excellent.And now they have their own app, so you can order and pay in advance, and save some time!I wish Too Tall's had another location closer to Eastown. I'm sure they would be very successful there, too.

Friendly and helpful service! While there is much debate about the best flavor of the week (pistachio or lemon) I'm going to have to say the tossed salad is best. Way better than I expected for an ice cream shop! Really good. The kids loved the fries. I've heard the wet burrito is excellent and I'm excited to try the olive burger. Highly recommend this place for eats or treats!

Edit: went back after owner commented. Got a hot fudge Sunday with brownies and no cherry. Came out good, fudge was hot but not personally a fan of their brownie as the brownie was more akin to chocolate kibble instead of soft brownie. Waited to get home to use my own spoon as those red ones cut up my mouth. Overall much better than 1st time I went. I'll probably stop now and then and likely try the savory foods some time.Original review:Not the biggest fan. Ordered hot fudge turtle Sunday with no cherry.Cherry was there before I yeeted it to the street. The hot fudge was just regular chocolate that was cold and there was very little. And the spoon was very sharp on the edges and cut up my lip.Can't speak for the savory items they have but I probably won't go back there.

One of the few small mom/pop like places you can find that looks like a little ice cream stand and is but also serves a full menu of food, good prices, always nice staff. Nice sitting area, parking is small. I recommend the grand slam sub but Instead of mayo get pizza sauce.

I got the olive burger and fries here. While well topped and on a good brioche bun. But I felt the meat was a bit small for a 1/4 lb burger. Also I don't really understand the 1.26 upcharge for some olives when the regular burger was basically topped the same. The fries are amazing though. Well seasoned and nicely crispy yet fluffy inside. The soft-serve flavors of the week are nice. I got the raspberry and it was good.

As a doordash driver. I have been fortunate enough to, enjoy every chocolate shake, in Grand Rapids. And if I tell you, this is my absolute favorite. I don't want to have to stand in line, next time I show up..... Behind 500 or 1000 people..... Who would line up..... For the best milkshake in town. Or, one of the best hamburgers in town. Or, one of the best chili dogs in town. I don't want to have to stand in line to have to wait for any of those... But I will. Absolutely, I will. Just in case, you don't want to stand in line either. You can call ahead. Or download their app. You will not, be disappointed!

So a friend told me about Too Tall’s this spring and I decided to try it out. I was surprised by the extend of their menu! I have tried their burgers, hotdogs, brisket(on the weekend) fries, cheese curds, and of course, the ice cream. I have not been disappointed yet. If you are looking for a yummy meal, bar or backyard bbq style meal, this is the place to get it. Im sure going to miss them between December and March!

Brisket sandwich was awesome. The smoked foods is the real deal and only on the weekends. I was pleasantly surprised just how good the brisket and pulled pork were. We'll be back for sure. Hidden jem for sure.

I simply ordered a medoum cone and it was huge! There were 5-6 people getting different things to eat. Everything that came out of the widow when I was there looked yummy! I'll have to go back to try other goodies.

Finally went to Too Tall's yesterday. Had heard they're great, but just never got there. My mistake! Friendly knowledgeable service and really tasty generously piled sandwiches on nice substantial buns. I had brisket, my wife had pulled pork, we both had fries, and our beagle got none, but we fed him at home. Food was exceptionally flavorful, smoky, juicy, tender - perfect brisket and my wife, quite a pulled pork expert, was very impressed by her big pile of tasty tender pork. Great place to go - repeatedly. Ice cream looked good too.

Great little ice cream shop! They have a wide array of options, including actual food! They also have dairy free ice cream options and gluten free cones! Lots of flavors and combinations to choose from, and they have a nice little seating area. When the server goofs up, they are quick to remedy the problem. Nothing but great service thus far. Will definitely be frequenting this place!

We’ve been here three times now and the first two times were great. The last time we went, the staff was so disrespectful and rude. When ordering, I asked for the ice cream to be packed to go and she said she would do that. When the order came, it didn’t have lids and it wasn’t packed. I reminded her that I wanted it packed and she just put lids on it. I then asked for it to be put in a bag and she threw it through the window for me to pack myself. She then closed the window immediately. I was polite asking for everything because I have worked in food service. We’ll have to find a new place to enjoy.

We go here on a pretty regular basis and it's always been fairly good and prices are decent, but when you pay $4.00 for a come the size of the cone on the left, there's definitely a problem!? 😆 I get I ordered a small cone but this is smaller than what I used to get a kiddy cone for. I swear I took 2 bites and it was gone! Let's do better...

Great little dive hamburger place right in the middle of the neighborhood. Delicious burger with very crispy fries. Strawberry shake is amazing. Root beer float with soft serve is ok. You get the remainder root beer to keep adding to your ice cream. Parking area isn't big.

If you like 1/2 gallon of ice cream on you double dip sugar cone then this is for you. Very friendly customer service. They also have burgers, hotdogs, barbecue sandwiches and more. Must try this place at least once. You won't regret it.

This is a very cozy spot to get all kinds of food and ice cream. They have soft serve and Hudsonville brand ice cream they can make floats Sundays Etc. This is a great place to take kids as they also have kiddie cones and fancy shaped ice cream. They also have a nice selection of regular food available. The prices there for what you get are decent and the ice cream cones are definitely TALL

I pulled in because i spotted the sign that said “banana soft serve was the flavor of the week”. My mom bought it the day before and said it was delicious. What we were given was vanilla so I went back and politely told them it was vanilla. First they insisted it was banana but my mom knew better. So I tried politely to ask again. NO HELP! Im still kind of frustrated because even though it was clearly their issue, I paid for something we didn’t want AND i left a tip! Ugh! We ended up throwing it away. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻😡

I wish we would have tried this place sooner! Kind of off the beaten path, but delicious ice cream. They also serve Hudsonville if that's your thing. The main reason I want to go back is to try their BBQ. It smelled amazing and I can't wait to try it. Very cute side yard with picnic tables too! Definitely worth trying!

This was my first visit with my kids, including a food allergy child. The staff were so helpful, checked labels, changed gloves, and we had an excellent experience. Tree nut and egg allergies FYI. I reached out ahead of time via messenger and they were very responsive and helpful.

Would give TooTalls a 6 out of 5! Spouse had the outstanding burger, I had the Brisket, pulled pork and beans were the best I've had in GR hands down. Keep doing what you are doing. We Zeelanders will be trekking back over here, worth the drive all.

Love Too Talls. The pulled pork, pulled chicken, and brisket are the best!! Also, we only get kiddy and small size ice cream cones cuz they are TOO TALL. They live by their name. I highly recommend them.
