I recently took my beloved Beagle Betty Boof to The Hound Dog pet groomer and I have to say, I couldn't be happier! From the moment we stepped into the salon, we were greeted with warmth, kindness and enthusiasm. The staff here are not only highly skilled in their craft, but they're also passionate about what they do- and it certainly shows in the resultsBetty has never looked better- her coat is shiny, her nails perfectly trimmed, and her ears free of any debris. They even gave her a cute little bandana to keep! The attention to detail here is truly impressive, and the groomers really take the time to listen to my concerns and preferences for how I want my dog to look.But what really sets this dog groomer apart is the exceptional customer service. They truly go above and beyond to make sure both me and Betty are comfortable and happy throughout the entire grooming process. It's clear that the staff here genuinely care about the well-being of their clients, and that means the world to me.Overall, I can't recommend The Hound Dog highly enough. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled and passionate groomer who truly cares about the animals they work with, look no further than this amazing salon. They have won a customer for life, and I am already looking forward to our next visit!

Oh my goodness.Molly and Amy are such fabulous people, and they each have tons of experience with grooming (well over 30 years between them)! The space is clean, bright, and an efficient use of space. Definitely give them a try; you won’t be disappointed! They do a great job with dogs from the littlest puppies to the old grumpy ones. We have a very energetic pup, and they do a great job keeping him under control. He loves it here, which helps, of course!This joint venture is new for the groomers (although they’ve each groomed for years), so I want to make sure they get a lot of new business. They are competitively priced! I actually have a groomer in walking distance from my house, but I go to The Hound Dog instead because #1 they’re awesome and #2 they are less expensive than my local groomer!TIP—> call ahead and ask about pricing. I love the option to do bath, blow out, feet, sanitary area (rear end), & trim around the eyes for much less than all that + a full cut. That makes it a nice option for those who like their puppy in a longer coat.TIP—> they use text options, which I’ve found very helpful!

Took my pittie in for a spa day. Because it was our first time there she was skeptical to say the least. The staff was nothing short of amazing-so warm and compassionate. There were several other fur babies there and I noted they were all calm and relaxed. My fur girl was ready in an hour, smelling and looking great. Will definitely revisit!

Thanks to the wonderful people at Hound Dog, Mochi no longer fears going to the groomer, she even let's them brush her teeth!! They are gentle, kind, clearly love dogs, and they constantly give Mochi the best looking cuts.

Wonderful little grooming shop. You can tell they love dogs. Our dogs looks and smells great every time, highly recommend. Just make sure you get an appointment before their coat gets too long, they're popular with a long wait list sometimes, that's a good sign though!

Yesterday, was the first appointment for my dogs. After waiting several weeks to get in, let me say, it was well worth it! This is the best they have been groomed in over a year! I love the small business, customer service experience. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, caring, and professional. I have already set a future appointment, and look forward to our next visit. 2 thumbs up for Hound Dog Grooming! What an excellent group of people working together in a fun environment. It is easy to tell they enjoy what they do. They're smart and fun to talk to.Neat workspace they have: WYSIWYG; nothing hidden, all open for anyone to see from the sidewalk. I esp like that pets are taken 1 at a time and don't need to spend most of the day there. My dog was well cared for and he looks fantastic. I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

Another groomer told us to sedate our puppy if we wanted to return. The Hound Dog was patient and, quite frankly, did a superior job with our Goldendoodle’s cut. We are now loyal clients. Recently we had to unexpectedly change our appointment, but they were booked. They put us on a waiting list and contacted us as soon as a cancellation came in. We were able to get Louie groomed a full week earlier than the next available appointment. Most other groomers wouldn’t take the time to call us with another appointment time when we already had one a week later. We have only experienced Amy as our groomer, but I would be comfortable with any of the stylists there. So happy we found this little place right off 28th street near the Lincoln dealership.

Amy is amazing! My dog can be very difficult when it comes to baths and getting her nails clipped. Amy has a lot of patience. And my dog always looks so great! Her attention to detail is awesome. I recommend Amy to any dog owner friends!!

I got my first puppy this year, and Amy does the most amazing job. I wish I could figure out how to get my baby to sit so nicely to trim her nails and not go crazy while trying to give her a bath. I don't know how Amy does it, but her haircuts always come out perfectly and Mila behaves like an angel for her.

Molly has been grooming our dogs for as long as I can remember (12+ years) I found them when other groomers couldn't get my dog trimmed because of behavior issues. It was never a problem for her....only groomer I trust!
