This is my new go to grocery store! No you don't find everything you can find at Walmart but this store is a cleaner, calmer, quieter and an overall better shopping experience, never once have I seen an entire family blocking an entire aisle after saying "excuse me" three times and they always have carts inside for you. Highly recommend this place if you suffer from mental health conditions that cause sensory problems(and don't mind some off brand goodies), lighting is very warm and inviting, music is very quiet in store almost to the point of you can't hear it. You can find some name brands there but most stuff is their brand which most stuff I've tried really isn't terrible, similar to Aldi but again less chaotic and stressful. Cashier is always very friendly.

The shelves were well-stocked. I haven't been to Save A Lot for years this one is located on Division Street in Grand Rapids.Since didn't live near the store now I'm closer to the store.This is what happened at the store the clerk kicked my cart stated that she wasn't feeling good and asked why you here if wasn't feeling good. So this is what you do kick a customer's cart when not feeling well. I don't know when I am going back to that particular store to shop.

Save-a-lot has better quality meat than any other grocery store. Unfortunately by Saturday their fresh produce and meat departments are out of a lot of products.

This place was Amazing. Very clean and well stocked. Perfect amount of light. It was busy, but it was Less than 5 minutes in line and I was headed to my car. Good quality produce for the most part, a few packages of the whole mushrooms should have been taken off the shelf days ago. Very Friendly and Helpful Employees as well.

I like going to this store if I need something specific. I don't grocery shop here cause they don't have a good selection to choose from. The store has always been clean, and the customer service has always been great here

I used to shop at this store all the time till today. Brought sliced packaged Colby jack cheese. To my horror when I got home and opening it, it was moldy and you could not see till you open. Gross and nasty. So done with buying from there now.

I've been to this store a half dozen times, the cashier's aren't very friendly. The store don't have much of a selection. They don't have popsicles, what grocery store don't carry popsicles? They also have the highest prices for food stuffs that I've ever seen. I paid 550 for a medium bag of generic tortilla chips. I go here sometimes because it's easier to get to the door from the lot. I just had a hip replaced and if I go to Walmart it's a long way to get to the door

Not many of these stores left around. They were restocking shelves, so some boxes in isles, but still left room for people to shop. It's organized. Prices are pretty close to the regular grocery stores.

Keep in mind this is a discount store. Good off name brands. I bought quality reusable bags from store that I use. Good meat department. Friendly and accommodating employees. Cashiers see I'm out of store on time to pick up kids from school when stopping by to grab after school snacks. ;) Good location, easy in & out parking.

Prices looking like Meijer, so much for being cheaper 4.99 for a dozen eggs, and milk is more expensive than Meijer and Walmart 3.49 seriously? And save o lots milk goes bad before the expiration date.

Store was clean and well stocked. We were able to find everything we went in for.The cashier didn't speak to either of us at first, just started scanning our items. She hadn't even made eye contact with either of us.She did respond when spoken to and did soften up some after that.

Too expensive. I spend more money for groceries here then I would at Meijer. This place used to be my favorite place to go, not any more. Now I'll just go to grab a cpl things, but not to do my grocery shopping. Absolutely ridiculous.

Man prices sure have gone up at this Save-A-Lot at 68th Street on division I went there and they had cookies two for $9 and I just got them at Meijer 2 for $6 and other prices on other items were sky high a lady and I were talking about it it was so unreal the meat still has good prices though and I am thankful for Save-A-Lot but some of the things is absolutely ridiculous!

They have a decent selection of food comparable to Aldis both price wise and quality. However I find the "fresh" produce doesn't last long at home. Its very low quality. But they are quick at the check lanes . Self bagging definetly speeds up this process. The floors are generally clean.

This is MY Save-a-Lot ❤ so convenient for quick stops and packing on the savings. The meat selection is top notch! We get a LOT of steaks here. The clerks are so friendly and helpful.

We always get exactly what we need from this place. I may or may not have shouted a few times waiting in line with one cashier working working and eleventy-three hundred people standing in line for another cashier to come help. Which generally brings more help while they're standing in the aisles breaking down boxes. Hey, I'm trying to get home Jack!!!

They need more cashiers or an express self checkout There's ALWAYS a line. Although cashiers are usually friendly and efficient, it's almost always a hassle to go there in the evening hours. Overall, store is cleanish and well stocked and prices are good.

Its a pretty clean store, employees are friendly. As with everything else there prices have jumped a lot. Only thing is they are out of wipes all the time and like other places they seem to be short staff.

I use to love going to my local Save a lot, nice employees, clean , stocked store. Then they changed distributers and the ice cream tastes funny the milk curdled 2days before expiration, and everything is junk now, plus their meat prices jumped. I go elsewhere now.

This store is clean and tidy, for sure. Mostly off-brand products and somewhat cheaper. Staff are not the cream of the crop, but friendly. It is possible that you will wait in line rather than them opening up a second lane. Sometimes this can be a bit of a frustration. Lots of parking.

I only go there in a rush now because I'm finding that their prices are not any less than going to Walmart. I actually save more when I go to Walmart on my groceries and the products are fresh. Save-a-lots produce is questionable and sometimes goes bad very quickly. I don't have that problem with larger grocery Outlets.

I'd reccomend showing else where they don't rotate perishables the last 2 trips I've found meat being sold past the use by date... that's a health risk and I've contacted the health department. They're messing with people's health
