Staff was friendly and helpful, nice shop with a lot of options. Prices are reasonable, and they have a jerky shop attached where they sell they good quality kind. Pretty nice location all things considered with a wide variety of products.

After driving by this place many times, I thought I would stop. First impression: the floor plan is all broken up. It was hard to find items. The coolers only had one or two items of each product. When I got to the counter to pay, the clerk (owner) wasn’t rude, but not overly outgoing (like I was a bother to him). He answered questions, but they were short.Anyway, now I know what’s in that bldg. that I drove by and next time I drive by, I will know.

Hometown market. Great drink/beer/ liquor selection, Jim's Jerky is in a shared space (stuff is amazing and worth every penny), plus various soft drinks, ice bags, and such. Also stocks Michigan-made snacks. One of my first places to go when I'm in town.

Nice , clean store. Carries random items, large variety of liquors, basic food staples. Also mall business items like handcrafted Ice cream, Beef Jerky made in store, Charlie's Chips, gourmet popcorn and the like. Worth the stop, love having it in my little town.

Very small locally owned grocery store. Decent selection of craft beer. The deli has grinders and pizza. Priced right when ordered fresh. As well as prepared cold cuts. As well as the best chicken salad sandwich on a crescent roll. It's literally the best thing I've ever had. Uncle Jim's meat market is in the same building and has world class jerky.

Interesting Country General Store atmosphere. Great selection of beer, wine and liquor. Full Deli and meat counter. A separate area for all types of Jerky and sausage and meat sticks. Since this is not a Superstore some prices ma be higher than big chains but the people were friendly and I will definitely check it out again.

Amazing place. Great decor, amazing service and selection of local foods. The best part is the Grinders, they are fantastic. They make the bread in house and the portions are huge. Highly recommend. Very unique, very unforgettable. I live in Grand Rapids but I'll be making the trip here often.

Went to order a pizza here a couple weeks ago and had a couple issues. They have a large chalkboard menu that had their pizza toppings on it, while ordering the guy taking my order interrupted me saying they don’t put salami on pizza, I mentioned it was on the menu and he just said “we don’t do that”. But whatever not the end of the world. Then while I was waiting for my food and walking around the place I spotted a large metal bowl on a drinking fountain in the aisle that was full of old grease with flys buzzing around it (at least I hope it was grease, could have been any gross brown liquid). So those two things alone made me not really wanting to go back. The pizza itself was whatever, I could have gotten a cheap frozen pizza that was just as good or better.

Although the sign out front says “Paula’s Market”, don’t let that fool you. She makes her own pizza dough, which very few places do. It was great pizza. My husband and I are big eaters and could only each eat 2 pieces. I believe she uses Amish cheese. It was so good. This is right off 96 so even from Ada, it was only a 20 minute drive. We didn’t have to wait an hour for a table, we didn’t have to wait at all.

Pizza and beer and beef jerky and spirits and last minute shopping needs. This spot has it all. Call in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. Grinders are generous and made on the spot. Carrying local beers and all typical spirits. Beef jerky is made on site and is too good to share.

Just....surreal.Lights are off. Shelves are threadbare. Pizza section has mop buckets and old equipment scattered around, along with puddles on water on the floor. One darkened refrigerated cabinet on the food side with overpriced wet burritos and whatnot. Felt like I was in a David Lynch movie. employee was chatting with a friend and never even acknowledged I was there. Made one pass through and noped out.Just...surreal.

Paula's Market has outstanding customer service and a nice selection of groceries, homemade bread, Amish block cheese, beer, wine, and spirits. Then add in Uncle Jim's world class Jerky/Meats! Drive over and check out this excellent gem of a local business.

Owner is rude and charges extra when you use a card and does not tell you. This is not for the jerky store that is in there to, there were closed when I was there.Update. The Jerky store that is run in the other half of the store is owned by different people and are vary nice and helpful.

LOVE THIS MARKET!!!Paula's Market has the hometown look and Feel. Not only that but they have competitive prices. It's family Owned and operated. Even the Jerky store inside Paula's is ran by a local family. They make everyone feel welcome and no matter if you are there for a piece of the softest, tastiest jerky, or the Grocery item you just need to pick up on the way home from work, you will get a welcome smile and help finding whatever it is you are looking to purchase. If they don't have it they will take your suggestion and try to get it for you.

Great place for jerky, bacon and brats, among many other things. Fantastic friendly service too. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last. Consider us regulars from now on.

The jerky counter has something for every carnivore. Paula's used to be a spa, which gives it a fun feel. There are antiques sprinkled throughout, including an old fashioned gas pump. Try the homemade pickles. They will make a believer out of you.

Great quick lunch for pizza and grinders. Check out the beef jerky and handmade sausage next door too. They also have a few grocery items if you forgot something and are on the way to the lake. Swing by and grab it.

Okay store. Watch out though, they charge you to use your credit card with out telling you there is a fee. Four big bags of ice was $8, not bad until I looked at my bank statement. They charged me 24 cents to use my credit card without telling me. 24 cents isn't much, just let me know before you charge me so I can go to the gas station across the street and not pay a fee.

Nice little market, but I would not recomend purchasing with a card or trying to buy tobacco with a vertical ID. The owner would not accept my ID even though I am 20 years old. I also asked if he accepted debit and he mentioned nothing about extra fees. I recieved a 30 cent "non cash" fee for using my debit card.

It's almost like a rest area off of the highway however inside Paula's Market is some of the best beef jerky around. Uncle Jim's Carolina Jerky. $20 for a pound of jerky that you can mix and match from roughly 15 different flavors to choose from.

While the prices are a little on the high side, they're a convenient option when you need something common and convenient. You also will find some unique, locally made buys there. Owner is super friendly, too. Highly recommend you check out some of their unique options if you're in the area or driving by.

Great market, they have all of the "essentials" and more beer/wine than you would guess considering it's a smaller "convinces like store", their food is great and the employees are very friendly/helpful. Plus there's never any long lines like at normal stores!
