I have seen in the past mixed reviews for this pharmacy. Despite the fact they are frequently quite busy I've had good service here. I had some questions related to a new prescription (issue was with my healthcare providers office) and "Erik" looked into the matter and did a great job of communicating the situation to me and how it can be resolved.

Listen, I absolutely adore Meijer, but the pharmacy at this location needs a bit of help on how to handle prescriptions. I feel like I have to call every month, on 1 of the prescriptions I get filled here. I'm on a 28 day supply (which is annoying, because my others are a 30 day supply, so I can't do them all at once, which is actually Priority Health's issue, because they won't do a 30 day script for this particular med... thanks Priority), but my prescription always seems to be renewed on the weekend, so I have my doctor call it in on a Thursday typically, because sometimes the doctors office takes a couple days to process it. So when I'm headed to pick up my 28 day script from the store, Meijer says it's not ready, but in the app it says it's filled but they didn't release it (which I agree with 110% on controlled medications, no pharmacy should release them early) but when I get there, the prescription is not filled AT ALL, and I have to remind them to refill it because it's the 28th day (they say it's in the system, but it was just put in my profile). I literally have to do this once a month on 1 of my prescriptions......it would be nice if you could either do a live chat or send them a message instead of having to call all the time, because I know pharmacies are COMPLETELY overwhelmed. I just hope they can fix their system sometime soon. I think this would also take some headaches off for their pharmacy staff as well. I work at a hospital, so I have empathy for the staff trying to deal with the influx of patient needs and the overwhelming of the healthcare system. Not to mention its the winter cold/flu season.

Save your time and go somewhere else. They are not helpful and when you call into ask questions they literally pick up the phone and hang up. I called back 3 times to make sure it wasn't in error and every time they would answer and then hang the receiver back up. To the Pharmacist: If you're that busy, PLEASE AT BEST be professional and put me on hold while you finish whatever is is that has you so frazzled. Repeatedly hanging up is rude and unprofessional. I won't be back.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews like this for places, but I have experienced some abysmal customer service from a Pharmacist working the drive-thru today. She was incredibly rude as I was explaining to her that I was picking up for a prescription refill that my doctor’s office explained was supposed to be ON FILE with this pharmacy. As I was trying to explain this to the Pharmacist, she proceeds to cut me off, and redirect me back to my doctor’s office about the matter

Really bad experience, the pharmacy tech are inexperienced and are not at all customer friendly. Made me feel as if I had done something wrong by using insurance to cover my prescription and as if I had made their job difficult by having insurance from a company which they don’t like.

As a retired pharmacist I understand how much stress is in their job but I had an issue and the technician more or less called me a liar. It was resolved but no apology. An employee should address the issue and if someone is waiting a long time someone should check if they need help. No way to run a business. I will transfer all my prescriptions. The young man that gave me the flu shot was very nice

Cannot get through on the phone and I have an RX that is controlled and can't be refilled using their automated service. It often just rings and rings. But today someone answered long enough to mumble something about "please hold" and immediately disconnected me. They then disconnected me three more times when I tried calling back. Never even got to say "hello". So I tried calling the store manager to have them see if maybe there's an issue with the phone system in the pharmacy... it never connected. I was on hold waiting on the phone tree for 15 minutes before I gave up. Apparently you can't talk to ANYONE at that store on the phone!

Simon at the register could not have been more pleasant. The woman working at the other register was also very nice to her client. Service was very quick. Prescription was ready and filled properly.

Every Time it’s a complete hassle. I called before hand and confirmed they had my prescription and would be able to fill it. I get to the pick up and they didn’t have it ready and the tech snaps at me and raises her voice when I try to ask nicely when it will be ready. I have to come back in 20 mins and I shop to give them a half hour. I get to the pick up and the scripts can’t be found Tech didn’t even have them fill it. I have to wait another 15 mins for them to be filled. If I could give them zero stars I would and this is the second time this happened.

I have had nothing but issues at this pharmacy. Beautiful store, horrible place to get your perceptions filled. Too many times to count of being told it will be ready in 20 minutes just to go back (usually more than 20 minutes) later and be told it's still not ready. So far this month, I've waited THREE days just to get one percription filled. I called and spoke with the manager who "had no idea why" it wasn't filled and told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. SO, I guess we will see if it will be ready when I head back there the second time today.

Terrible experience- DO NOT go here. For the past 7 months I have given this pharmacy numerous chances to get it right. All I need to have filled is my Concerta. Out of 7 tries, I have only sucessfully had this filled TWICE! Both of those "successful" fills took about two weeks after my doctor sent in the prescription. I wasn't sure if it was my new doctor, insurance, or the pharmacy that was creating the issues. It turns out it was the pharmacy the whole time. The most recent experience included the pharmacy ONCE AGAIN stating that I needed a "prior authorization form". My doctor and insurance company worked together to prevent this from happening the seventh time. Once the pharmacy figured out I did have a prior authorization form, and they were just highly unorganized, they said they would order my prescription and it would be in in two days. I was out of town, so I came back that following Monday to finally pick up my prescription. On Monday they said I did not have a prescription called in. I explained to them what happened, and once again they said they would have to order it and it would be there in two days. Another two days later I returned to hear the same non-sense "Needing a prior authorization form, they didn't have the script, forgot to order it, etc". So once again they figured it out, and said they would order it. Two days later I received a phone call stating that they cannot order this medicine anymore. I have been EXTREMELY patient, but that was the last straw. To top it off, I am in the process of switching pharmacies and they told my doctor I picked up my prescription 3 weeks ago! Meijer, you really need to get your act together. This is unacceptable!

I hate this pharmacy! I thought Walgreens was bad! Prescriptions are never ready by the pick up time which means I go days without medicine, due to my heavy schedule. They are always out of stock! How on earth can a pharmacy function with out medicine? Thank God I have another prescription plan. I can now move back to Rite Aid where I rarely have an issue.Update... I came back and they re worst then before. Cant even get through on the phone! Use Amazon Phamacy! It's free shipping if you have prime and dont have wait in line for an hour! You can use your insurance also!

Go anywhere else but this pharmacy. Terrible service. Had to wait longer than stated last night, when it was not actually busy, and they could have taken my insurance cards then. Instead, came back today only to be told to essentially go away and come back in another 10 minutes for them to run insurance card (which could have been asked for last night). By the way, the reason I’m getting medication is because I’M SICK! D&W pharmacy ran insurance over phone, had price quotes on the meds called in, and had them ready at drive-thru when I pulled up. THAT’S the way it should work. Thank you D&W Pharmacy!!

I had an issue for a few days with a medication being incorrectly filled at the wrong store where it wasn't in stock. I am heading on vacation and needed it ASAP so I was pretty stressed. Kara/Cara(both of them) were very helpful in getting it sorted out in time for me and turned a bad experience into a good one. :)

Meijer pharmacy is one of the most inefficient pharmacy’s I have ever had to deal with and sadly, due to insurance purposes, I can’t go to another. They continually put your medications back without telling you and their text system doesn’t work to tell you when they’ve put them back. You have to call every single time to make sure your prescription is even still on the shelf before making the trip out. Not to mention the long wait times in the drive through and at the counter every time you go no matter what time you’re there. If you can, use literally any other pharmacy.

The woman giving me my prescriptions literally yelled across the table for everyone in the area to hear that my antidepressants weren’t ready. Ever heard of HIPAA? I looked around me because of how loud she yelled that. You can talk to me in a normal tone; I don’t want everyone in the store knowing my business.
