I have called several times since 10am this morning, and have yet to speak to someone. They either don't answer, answer and put you on hold before you get a word out, or pick up and hang up. I assist in the care for a disabled family member and going up there to be told a prescription is still not ready, is ridiculous. Especially when the prescription was refilled a day earlier and the overall importance of this medication. If you don't like your job, go somewhere else. Meijer pharmacy is not the only job that gets busy; therefore, stop using that as an excuse.

So Adam Aquel completely changed my mind about Alpine Meijer pharmacy. I had a few frustrating situations with this pharmacy, due to a specific script. Adam took his time to explain to me, why it was so much harder to NOT get DOTTI(zero stars) and get my previous patches in a way that was so empathetic, understandable and representing Meijer at the same time! These 5 star are for Specifically Amdam Aquel. You have no idea how your gentle kindness is affecting people in such a beautiful way.

I have only had positive experiences with this pharmacy and it’s workers. I have a prescription that is a pain to fill, and very expensive. Without me even needing to ask, the pharmacy techs do their best to find coupons to bring down my cost (after insurance) and are always kind if I call with a question. On more than one occasion, I’ve been able to leave my doctor’s office in Rockford and call on the way and a prescription is ready while I’m already out on the road. I’ve never had a less than friendly experience in the drive through pickup.

My prescription is a controlled substance and this pharmacy manages to botch it every single time.I was out of town and wanted to make sure I could get my prescription on the weekend when I returned home. So I proactively called the pharmacy to check if they had a prescription on file. I did this on a Thursday to ensure that I could call my doctor if they had not called it in. The pharmacy representative specifically said yes, call on Saturday and they will fill the prescription they had on file. So I did so, only to find out they never had a prescription on file and I would have to wait until my doctor called it in. Because of this careless mistake I now will not receive my mental health medication and will have a three day lapse, dangerously affecting my mental health.I would not recommend ever using this pharmacy.The most recent mistake made by this team was my last straw and now I will not be using this pharmacy for any of my family members again. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE FROM THE PHARMACIST TO THE TECHS.

I wish I could give negative star rating! They do NOT bill insurance correctly! Treat customers with 0 respect! I sent my prescription to be picked up here and when I got there they wanted me to pay for it even though it have never had a problem getting them before. I have 2 types of insurance and the both cover my prescription together! when I said nevermind I won’t pick it up I actually just decided to call the doctor and have them Send it elsewhere. well now my insurance won’t cover it because apparently I already picked it up! So meijer was trying to charge me on top of billing my insurance and now I have to figure out how to get the meds I need because they don’t know what the hell they are doing at this location! Very messy

They used to be open 24 hours and now it's just whenever they feel like it. Meijer used to care about its' customers, but now they only care about the money. You can also see this in how they maintain their stores. Unless it's a higher income Meijer, they don't stock it, clean it, or care about it.

The wait time at this pharmacy has skyrocketed. I can't remember the last time I wasn't in line for over 15 minutes. It would be one thing if it was simply customers having lots of questions for the pharmacist, but it seems like they just don't staff appropriately. The staff are nice and usually efficient, but they are clearly over-worked and worn out.

I was buying my xarelto and I was getting charged $450 for 3 months supply, I switched to Costco and I got charged $200 for 3 months supply. Don’t buy anything from meijer pharmacy they always over charge. They do that because they own the market.Meijer stop overcharging people.

Terrible pharmacy, terrible pharmacists. I have been with them for about 5 years now and this past year has been just terrible. Every time I call to refill my prescription they never have it ready on the time they tell me to pick it up. frustrating I would not recommend to get your medication prescribed if it is crucial you take your medication everyday. Due to never pharmacy I have not been regularly taking my medication for the past six months.

Absolutely terrible service. Signed up for the new Covid booster and flu shot for me & my husband. Our appointment was for Noon. At 12:30PM we still sat there and the worst part is they were not busy. Finally wasn't old they didn't actually have the covid vaccine after waiting 40min. I would not recommend this place to anyone requiring timely service. We promptly made appointments at Walgreens. You lost our business Meijers!

Multiple times in which I am told Rx's are going to be filled and yet issues are not communicated to me have left me with little trust for Meijer pharmacies. I obviously understand how there can be insurance issues or miscommunication. However to say something will be filled and yet no contact is made when there is a problem, they simply just...don't fill it, after verbally telling you it is in process, is frustrating. All I would like is proof that these people understand that for some people, these medications are necessary. I'm not expecting them to fix the problem, that is our responsibility, but to at least KNOW there is one before we are in more dire straits, is just common courtesy.

I've had only good experiences with this pharmacy the 9+ years I have used them. The pharmacists are always helpful in answering questions and go above and beyond and the line inside goes quickly. I usually don't use the drive thru because it is a very busy location and sometimes gets too backed up but I've never had an issue with a script or getting questions answered.

If I could give zero stars I would!! Run into the same issues every month with the same pharmacy tech who seems to absolutely hate his job, gets an attitude and argues with customers!Also pretty sad that our doctors office has to call and notify us that our prescriptions have been waiting at the pharmacy…ZERO communication. however when the supposed prescriptions are supposed to be ready…The pharmacy ARGUES that they don’t have it and to contact the drs office (the same office who just told us our prescriptions were ready)You will not catch me dead using this pharmacy again! Do better Meijer!

I gave this pharmacy five stars before but have downgraded it to a 3. The staff has always been friendly. The problem is, they used to be 24/7 which worked great for my third shift job. Then the pandemic hit so I rolled with the shorter hours. Now that things are opening up, they still have some of the worst hours for prescriptions. Two of the ones I take require me to call them in on the phone so I can't just submit a refill request. Whenever I call, I am usually hung up on or an annoying recording comes on saying the can't take my call. I understand they could be short staffed, but It's getting increasingly frustrating doing my prescriptions through Meijer and I'm considering switching to a local pharmacy instead. Their hours aren't much better than Meijer, but at least someone always is available when I call. The shorter hours make for them being more slammed during their business hours so it's getting more annoying to deal with this pharmacy.

This pharmacy always always states the computers are down. For the last 7 months every-time I’ve went there I’ve had to go back the next day or days later to obtain scripts that are needed desperately. Sometimes I think it’s just for an early close. Either way switching pharmacies is going to be needed in the near future. I’ve always elected to have everything sent to meijer even though there are pharmacies closer. Highly upset and disappointed.

They haven’t had enough medication to fill my last 2 prescriptions. We made vaccine appointments and then waited 40 minutes. I watched the pharmacist that gave us our shots eat his sandwich while we waited for him. We’ll take our business to CVS.

When your doctor prescribes you a medication, do you typically expect to obtain it the same day or within a few days? Do you generally plan to begin taking that medication within a day or so?Most likely you will answer yes to these questions.However, Meijer Pharmacy seriously lacks the most basic of standards and expectations.All hindrances aside, such as insurance delays, Meijer pharmacy consistently fails to properly fulfill prescription orders they receive.Instead of initiating the filling of prescriptions prescribed by providers, Meijer Pharmacy automatically records a copy and the details of your prescription in your account, while failing to initiate any fulfillment of the prescription ordered.You must call them, contact them directly, speak with them, after your provider has already submitted their order for your prescription. You yourself must ensure that Meijer Pharmacy will indeed be doing what they have been ordered to do.To put it simply, Meijer Pharmacy is an unreliable pharmacy.

My prescription apparently is no longer made and they could care less about it, put me on hold for 15 minutes while they went to go talk to a pharmacist who then pretty much told me to go to another pharmacy. I have spent more time on the phone with this pharmacy in the past month than I normally do in years trying to get this nonsense sorted out.Then on Monday they had the audacity to text me and say they had a question for me and then I wait on the phone again for another 15 minutes for them to just simply tell me that they're out of the medication again.I have been going in circles with these people for over a month.

I typically do not use this location, but I needed meds and could not make it to my branch. They were very helpful and polite. I called in the morning, prescription was filled by the afternoon. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes.

If I never have to use this Pharmacy again it will be a blessing.Not only do they take on way more work than they are qualified to perform, but none of them including the pharmacists do their due diligence to take care of any customer or patient that needs medication from them. Everyone at this Pharmacy has a lot to learn about customer care.

My son had a covid test I scheduled online, did everything correct, i call the following day to get results back because i hadn’t received any email in regards like I was told. They not only didn't have my 6year old results but no proof of us coming to do the self swabbing. The pharmacist than tells me later the person who collected the swab might’ve mixed names/appointment, saying I need to reschedule. My son is out of school longer because of this. Would NOT recommend, very unorganized and bad communication on their end. Thanks

They don't stock medication that's been prescribed to the patient every month for years.Constant issues regarding getting it filled, don't reorder, forgot to reorder again, always got some issues. This time it has went on for 5daysand I have been without my meds for 2 days with no excuse except" we forgot". Very unprofessional and puts people's health at risk.

They used to be open 24 hours. Closed now at 6:00 pm on Saturday????? Called in a prescription Friday morning for a very common prescription, stopped there at 10:00 am Saturday, was told it wouldn't be ready til 2:00. Went there at 7:00 pm ,figured they would be open till at least 8:00. Closed at 6:00. Time to start using A different pharmacy.
