Lay out makes zero sense, employees are just as confused and clueless to where anything is located. Theft prevention staff are targeting the wrong people, and making themselves look abundantly racist it's sickening, plus they also can't help locate anything. Watched a roughly 30ish white lady walk out the grocery side with 2 60in smart tv's, one Samsung one LG, so not the cheapest ones lbvs, plus the cart over stocked with other items. Just waddled right out the door directly in view of the two gentlemen that were only watching my 19 yr old son. Like wow

This is the worst Meijer ever! If I could give 0 stars I would. I refuse to go to this store ever again. The employees are completely unhelpful. When I ask for help locating an item I’m met with “I don’t know” and “not sure what to tell ya”. From the low level employees to management, they’re all terrible at their jobs and they don’t care at all about customer service. Today I went there to buy an Xbox controller for a door dash order. After waiting for 15 minutes, the employee tells me he can’t find a key so there’s nothing he can do for me. PATHETIC! Every time I ask for help, no one is willing to take 5 minutes to provide good customer service. The place is a complete joke and management should all be fired and replaced by people who actually care. NEVER AGAIN. One of the employees even tried to fight me today and told me to never come back! Do yourself a favor and go to any other Meijer because this one is the worst. It’s worth driving 10 minutes extra to the next Meijer because this one will only cause you the biggest headache.

I think I waited between 20-30 minutes for a cashier to finally get around to validating my alcohol purchase and taking the security device off of it. I hope the staff who watch the cameras are noticing how long people are having to wait around. I thought about mentioning it to someone in person, but figured I'd just get stuck waiting around to do that too.

Kind of scary place, parking lot is crazy, people are roud and drive like they are all HIGH or INTOXICATED!!!! You can get a second hand Marijuana High just walking thru the parking lot! I've got a dent in my car after parking there. The store just looks dirty, unorganized, not Fresh, limited selections. Not the same as other Meijer locations. Just felt very comfortable and Not Safe.

The store at 28th and Kalamazoo was great. Staff was very friendly, and the store was clean. Meijer will be our food store, especially for produce. The fruits and vegetables were fresh, and they had some fruit that I haven't seen in other stores lately.

Parking lot is dangerous. Can't find anything (Milk is literally in the clothing aisle of all places). Check out --including self-check is wildly slow. Staff are exhausted both here and at the Holland location and no one is around to help (this is a corporate decision, my 2 star review is directed at corporate Meijer and not the staff). Prefer Aldi any day of the week.

I can't say it enough, I love love love.l9ve Meijer!! 😍🤩😁 The best thing ever is the Mperks and now they have flash sales! SAY WHHAATTT!? YES!!!! Now you have more reasons to go Meijer and save more than a pocket full of pennies. I am telling you, if haven't done it yet, get that Meijer app and combat the rising cost of goods/inflation. You can thank me after you see the difference in your weekly shopping bill and believe me, you will. Also, I have found that if you go to certain stores you can certain items that you are looking for versus going to your normal Meijer. I went to 28th and Kalamazoo Ave today, just cause I was in the neighborhood and I found the Jiff Honey peanut butter, that I absolutely can not live without (try it, you'll never go back to regular peanut butter😁). Were as if I went to my normal Meijer the shelf has been bare for a hot second, but that's because they are a larger store and alot more people are buying that product. You don't have to listen to a word I say, but I'm telling ya, just give it a chance!!

The people here are really nice, they have some really great items I can’t find at other Meijers, the food is generally fresh…but I feel like maybe every other grocery trip I find something where like the safety seal has been tampered with, or there’s tape closing a 12 pack of soda, or a package of cheese is not sealed all the way. So this is like every other week that it happens.I get that things happen with inventory and you can’t control every single item. But I shouldn’t have to carefully inspect the packaging of everything when I go to the store. I don’t have to do this at other stores. I don’t have time to do this.This Meijer and the Clyde Park Meijer are TERRIBLE with this. It’s causing me to actively lose money. I don’t want to shop at Wal-Mart, I don’t have the storage space or need for a gallon of olives from Costco, and specialty stores like Trader Joe’s don’t have essentials like dish soap or scrub pads.

Really like shopping here....although the floor plan for the groceries is a bit confusing and they had some outdated food on the shelf. I did tell someone about that and he was going to have it pulled.

The Meijer on Kalamazoo. 10/06/2023. Got dinner on my way home and got chicken and wedges. Unfortunately, the chicken was undercooked [see photo]. It’s fortunate that this food was not destined for children this evening. Had it been any other day of the week children would have been eating this food.

Meijer associates are very friendly and helpful! Even with some manufacturers not sending enough products to stock the shelves, the associates are always hard at work trying to get everything they have on the shelves! Meijer is ALWAYS my go to store for not just groceries, but almost anything else I may need!!!!

I generally really love Meijer. It has been the grocery store that I have gone to for groceries and anything else I need or want since I was a little girl going to the store with my mom.I have been a little disappointed in the general cleanliness of the store lately. The clothes and other non food items are always a mess, and not organized well or often enough.The bathrooms have been unnecessarily gross 🤢 when I have used them recently. I would suggest having staff check them at least every 2 hours, and clean them as needed.It is really gross to go in the bathroom and have to hover over the toilet because there is urine and feces smeared on the seats, or they are clogged with paper and human waste.The sink was clogged and full of water and toilet paper a couple weeks ago also.Idk why people are so gross. Why in the world would anyone do these things to a public bathroom??? It makes your store look bad unfortunately.I know you can't control what other people do. But you can control how often you clean up the messes and sanitize things!!! Let's step it up Meijer!!!!

Meijer is a combat zone...... once you get in there you're visually as a tack..... I go to Meijer without my grocery list. what my chain of thought of what I need to get on my mind in the most dreaded words are there... wait a minute y'all have been some said bro.... what do I mean........... welcome to Meijer. I know this is Meijer but with the stuff I was thinking about is gone out my head the stuff I wants to buy put me in mind what I need to buy and get the the hell out of there... and go through the five-and-dime store.... the greeter or greeters. n needs to find other words to use..... understand has a job the empire has a job too he might call it a ball she might call it might be a ball.. but the guy in front of him is the is the one moved his hands slightly.... he know that it's a strike... but Myers have the last what they want the employees to say. let me stop....... is a great store let me come in there and get what I need first and then speak to.

Meijer is a good alternative to big boxes like Wal-Mart and Target. A very broad selection of merchandise here. The produce is generally good. The dairy section took a while to find on my first trip here. The self checkout option is not always good because the machines often malfunction.

This store is always dirty. On my last visit, the produce was horrible looking, definitely on its way out. I also had some ridiculous employees bagging my groceries. A group of young girls taking selfies and group photos, talking smack about having to work, and just being over the top obnoxious. I hope someone teaches them the now little known concept of having a work ethic.

It was fine until my teenage daughter called me in tears from my car that 2 young employees are trying to break into my van. They first knocked on the windows (which are tinted and you really can’t see in) then proceeded to try to open the trunk door on my van. But management and security decided to cover it up. The 2 young employees just laughed about it. Make sure your doors are locked at this Meijer. Never going there again! 🤬😡😠

Here’s a little history lesson! This store was the first ever Meijer store of this format! Opened as “Thrifty Acres”, it had been endlessly renovated, until the old building was torn down and replaced with a new one around 10 years ago. The original arches were preserved, and there’s a History Marker at the car entrance! Other than that, like any other Meijer, these are great places to buy your everyday things, yada yada yada. Awesome!

I have been a long-time regular online customer, but lately I have become aware that Meijer is manipulating prices to scam customers. On my end, there is one set of prices, and there is another set on their end. I bought over $30 worth of Kimberly-Clark products (I would normally buy generic) to get $10 off my order. They "reduced" the prices of other items I purchased (but not according to my receipt) and claimed I received the discount. According to my receipt, I paid the prices on the website and got the expected sales and coupon discounts, less the $10 off special. When I contacted customer service, they had a different set of prices for the items in my order and claimed I got the $10 off. To put it simply, even if my math was wrong (and it's not), I should have had an MPerks discount equal to or greater than $10, which I didn't. This happened several weeks ago. I requested that my complaint be forwarded to the store manager but they haven't contacted me. My concern isn't so much the money I lost, but the unethical behavior Meijer is engaging in, and the cumulative cost their customers are paying. Their system is rigged to cheat their online customers, some of whom prefer not to shop in-store due to health conditions and disabilities.
