I used to love this Meijer. I still shop here, but I am very cautious now of the produce. A lot of shelves were bare last week when I went to grab some vegetables. This is what I saw,gross slimy shelves that the produce was sitting in! Also dirt & stagnant water with some plugged up holes that were supposed to be clean so the water could run thru and out when the sprayers above come on, which now in hind sight I should of checked those as well for possible dirt / mold ? I passed on the veggies when I took pictures of just 3 shelves. I hope they clean them better when they re stock the produce. Having inventory each month. they should have seen this. My fruit & veggies have been molding faster or going bad, so maybe this is why ? Due to unclean areas. I did take a survey asking for someone to email mail me back when the survey asked if I wanted to be contacted regarding this issue. I said yes, and still no email. March 15th. Be aware & keep your eyes peeled when buying produce for sure. Other than that, the employees are always friendly and helpful & the store seemed well stocked. Please clean your produce area shelves there, especially the fresh greens, because I will be back to check on this & hope to see improvement.

I'm honestly not pleased with the self checkout system here. I just went to checkout where I've checked out 100s of times and was stopped to be asked if u had already scanned my water. I answered yes and they proceeded to check my order to see if I actually scanned the water.What a surprise I did actually scan the water already. They then slapped a sticker on only one water and said they'd come back with another for the other water and they never did.It felt like i was being accused or profiled when I've shopped there and paid my bill everytime. I think I'm going to take my self checkout and money elsewhere now this invasive system is put into place.I shop at meijer over places like Walmart to not feel like I'm being watched and my privacy invaded, but I guess I'm just g9nna have to find a new store now...Bye đ

Got stopped for the first time ever with my partner to see if I had scanned the water. The girl working the checkout with black hair assumed we didn't scan our 2 packs of water. She approached us said "hey guys" Then we responded "hi" kinda confused I looked up to check if the self checkout light was blinking. It wasn't. She proceeded to stand there for a good 30 seconds staring at us as if we new what she wanted.then my partner said confused "can we help you?" She said "did you guys scan your water??" We said "yeah" and then she proceeded to ask if she take a look and see. We of course said yes. But what made me realize she was accusing us is the fact that she only came over with one paid sticker while we had 2 cases of water that she could clearly see and wanted to check. She sees we did ring up both waters infact it was the very first thing we rung up. then she said "oh.. uhmm okay" puts the sticker on one case of water and says "let me go get another one.." she then proceeds to walk away and never come back with the second sticker. I then look around for her I make eye contact with her. I shrug and look the second water. She then smirked at me and turned around. I was honestly so taken off guard by this whole thing that it didn't fully click what happened until I had left. I expect this kind of treatment at Walmart (which is why I don't shop there) but never at meijer. Made me super uncomfortable đ

I stopped in on super bowl sunday and the place was packed.The parking lot attendants were were doing such a great job keeping the carts flowing and greeting everyone with friendly hellos. It was such a refreshing change from the normal, fast paced and impersonal experience that has become today's normal standard.Kudos to the staff at Knapp St Meijer... ESPECIALLY THE PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS!!Thank you :-D

We did a pick up order. The order was ready early and brought out to us quickly. It was a larger order. The person who brought it out seemed stressed and we helped load groceries because the door it needed to go on was in a difficult location. She practically threw the bags at us. She wasn't pleasant at all. I expect they had a lot of orders at that time or she was just having a bad day but it was one of the few times we have happily greeted at Meijer.

We just moved to the area and tried a few different stores before landing on this one. They always have the carts my girls love, with the seat up front so they can sit together. It's rare for a Meijer to have nearly everything I need in stock, but this location almost always does! I asked a manager about organic sweet potatoes, and he told me he could only get them around the holidays. When I told him the Meijer I used to shop at had them all year he said he'd look in to it, and sure enough the next week, they had organic sweet potatoes!

In my opinion each and every Meijer kicks walmarts butt any day of the week. Overall quality of items is better, more brand names and wider variety of styles and brands than Walmart too. Staff is way friendlier and doesn't accuse people of stealing things... for dropping their keys at the self checkout and putting them in your purse either. Overall Great place to shop!

Meijer will always be my favorite Everything shopping store, they know how to run it, from keeping up with the times to layouts of the store, always a great display of groceries or general merchandise, They don't make you have a membership to enjoy the great prices ( by today's standards) and to use their features, Like Shop and scan inside or let them shop and you pick up, look how many major places offer you this, but make you pay a nice monthly fee to use those features I won't mention names, lol, but two huge giants, they make you pay that monthly fee, kinda takes away from the bottom line, Meijer offers all this and no monthly fees, easy pick for me

Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a Meijer. On the Sunday morning before Thanksgiving and it is very busy and they only had two checkout lanes open, both of which had more than 5 people waiting in each. A woman was standing at a lane without a light on, doing nothing, and got incredibly rude when asked if she was open. She was so rude to me that another customer told her that she should be nicer. Then, when I finally got to checkout, the checkout person insisted I put the bigger items in the cart. I explained that I was handicapped and it was hard for me to maneuver the items over the side where they put the item and they just rolled their eyes at me. I honestly almost walked away from the cart at that point.After I was check and loaded my car, I was putting my cart into the labeled cart corral and the employee who was gathering carts told me I had to bring the cart over to them. She was about 30 or 40 ft farther from the corral. I told her I was handicapped and not going to bring the cart over. I got in my car and she came over to my car and was trying to get my attention, telling me I had to bring the cart to her.Pretty disgusting behavior from multiple employees.

Customer service does not appear to be a priority at this meijer. It is unpredictable at best, poor at worst. There are about 3-4 workers I can count on for predictably good service. However, most of the time there is indifference, and sometimes outright icy attitudes towards customers. I hope they can work to improve the experience for customers so that all customers experience a consistently positive shopping experience.Updated 01/11/23: Still waiting on customer service to improve. I used one of the red phone kiosks to get help locating an item. The person who answered just started arguing with me that if I couldnât find an item on the shelf, then there was nothing he could do. I had to ask three times for someone to come help me, and then no one ever showed up. Câmon Meijer. You can do better.

This is by far my favorite west Michigan Meijer, especially in the Holland/Grand Rapids area. This Meijer tends to be cleaner than all the others and never seems to be out of the products I want. Employees are helpful and welcoming

Actually, there are no complaints about this store. They had what I was looking for, it was about 8 am & the store wasn't that busy. Easy checkout. Greeters & cashier were both friendly.

Careful with this place. Meijer uses a company that pays its shoppers and drivers less than minimum wage. Also, if those said shoppers are injured, assaulted or murdered on the job, which they have been, Meijer and it's affiliates will claim in court those workers aren't subject to lawsuits and still profit their 20 per human from these workers' deaths.

Had to bag my own nine bags of groceries while these two were having a chit-chat... oh, the cashier wasn't about to pitch in and help us either. This location has the worst employees of any Meijer I've been to.

They are always willing to help, even if it takes a couple of days. Both of my insurances couldnât help me and they did! Shoutout to Zachary for being awesome and helping me out, and for the rest of the team for being amazing too!

No employees around to help customers. The store was messy, and the shelves were empty. I'm not sure if they know how to order properly. 10 years ago, the store was much better stocked you had employees around to help customers. Sad, this was once my favorite place to shop.

This our 'regular' grocery store. The staff up front are always quick to help with an mperks or pricing issue. I love the huge self check out areas.Two critiques:1)The long, winding lanes to get to the self checkout kiosks through a sea of impulse products seems kind of shameless.2) The LOUD announcements every 15 minutes that begin at 23:00 asks warn of an impending midnight checkout doom are incredibly annoying. Automate them PLEASE!

No complaints on the final holiday weekend prior to Christmas. Crowds were at a minimum, found what we needed in a hurry and a few items we didn't know we needed...skipped the checkout lines and used Electronic Department for cashing out. Associates were very accommodating. Definitely will return to this location again.

Found what I was looking for. Had nice friendly chat with store associate wandering store offering credit card, which I have already. Went thru check with associate to ring up my purchases & the man never greeting me or said one word to me. I'm not sure if he was deaf/mute but not even a smile. Not sure what went on there, but Eric not friendly at all for being a cashier. I tried saying hello & being nice, but not even tell me how much my purchase was. I had to look at screen on his cash register to get my total. I felt that was rather rude. Normally I love Knapp's Corner, but that was really a downer.

These people are so incompetent. Don't use their pickup because they'll give you tequila WITH THE SECURITY LID STILL ON so you have to drive back. Kind of defeats the purpose of pick up, huh????Also they're perennially understocked.
