I buy nicotine gum for years , it a FDA approved, the young lady ask for my ID and she want me to pull it , I said never get my ID check for nicotine gum she called her manager... the manager ask for my ID again and I said is just nicotine gum she rolled her eyes and she said is required and she offer me if she can cancel the whole order ... I give her the gum back and I told her that was stupid... police officer ask polite then her ...I hope you can tell your employees that nicotine gum approved by FDA......and be polite as a costumer service representative... SOLVE THE PROBLEM!!!!! THANK YOU WALGREENS FOR SEELING 100 PIECES OF 4 MG FOR 20$ AND THANK YOU FOR NOT BE STUPID AND ASK FOR IDFDA APPROVED

This location is fairly run down and constantly out of stock. Never enough staff and running the skeleton crew shifts. You can tell they do a poor job of predicting stocking of items. Shopping carts constantly flying across the parking lots. You would think being 3 miles from their corporate office things would be ran a little better. I would rate this location in the worst tier of Meijer locations. Needs new leadership and facelift for sure.

I made an APPOINTMENT several days ago for a vaccine at 3:15. I arrived at 3:10 & checked in right away. Staff checking me in were friendly and helpful. They told me to wait. It was very busy. After 20 minutes of waiting I went to ask how long it might be. They told me to just keep waiting and would be right with me. 10 minutes later I went to tell them I had to leave because I needed to pick up my wife and one pharmacist had the nerve to suggest to another customer I was being "loud/rude". Meanwhile the person checking me in was screaming "DID ANYONE PULL A VACCINE!" & walked away. I don't blame the people. A bad process beats a good person every time. If someone has an appointment, they should be next in line, not be kept waiting for 30 minutes.

Listen ALL this Meijers BAKERY IS AWFUL! Cakes have no flavor, frosting tasteless, and the cakes texture is all dry! I bought carrot cake, then variety cake. Literally food cost to much to be selling the bottom of the barrel! Get better bakers! Please

I want to start this by saying that i am not the type of person who believes the customer is ALWAYS right. However, I do believe that if you have a faithful loyal and paying customer, you fulfill your employment responsibilities to the best of your capability. That being in customer service, it is your responsibility to greet, treat, and serve them with dignity and respect. That is your job being as though you are in customer service...Thinking logically, everybody on this earth can and will no doubably have had or will have bad day(s). I totally understand. And it is not nor ever will be my place to judge anyone for that fact. Seriously! Fact, I normally feel and/show sympathy and compassion.Now, back to my point, my boyfriend and I were shopping at this location. We were as far as you can be from the registers when they asked that we continue to front to purchase items because they are closing. So my boyfriend walks a little slower due to bad knee injury from his career in the Army. But he by no means took long enough that we deserved the treatment or disrespect that we received. We went to the registers where the cashier was extremely rude and tried to tell us that we were no longer allowed to purchase our items. When asking her why she (by rude, i mean even cused at us) and said because you just cant! I asked for her name and to see a manager, she became even more rude,refused to tell her name and walked away. When walking toward doors, we find a manager ourselves. The manager tells us that she would ring us up but acted like the employee had the right to speak to us the way she did.A couple of days went by, and we went back there to buy milk. When we headed down an isle, I ran into "manager" again. The end of the isles there was blocked for floor waxing. I asked if we would be able to purchase milk, and she said, "Guess you're going to have to walk and find a way through if you can.Wow!I will take my money somewhere else. Thank you!Sorry, I assumed you would fulfill your requirements being as it is your job to do so!

Pricing never works. WATCH YOUR SALES COUPONS AND PRICES EVEN WIC ETC THEY ARE NEVVVVVEEEERRRR RIGHT!!!!!!! Pharmacy drive thru sucks. Store always has huge parts shut down during open hours to do floors, do it when closed. Seriously. Tonight there were several employees running around yelling and dropping f bombs loudly. Luckily I was there alone for once without kids, which is when I can never get stuff needed due to the "waxing". Stuff is constantly not stocked. They stock way too much in open hours you can barely get through aisles then they make you feel like you are in their way inconveniencing them. This store has gone to hell last several years and despite SOOOOOOOO many complaints, never gets better only worse

I Always get the items I need from there. It would be nice to have lower prices and shorter lines. It's nice having baggers again. It would be helpful to have the item locator maps like the had a few years ago. Since things get moved . More handicap parking places would be helpful also.

Aside from all of the obvious where things aren't always stocked or things not working, whatever, usually not too horrible at this store, however I am someone that prefers to grocery shop when I do not have my 2-year-old with me so I go after he goes to bed. there have now been three or 4 different times that I went to go do my shopping and had specific things I needed and they are waxing the floors so you can't access entire huge sections of the store. around Christmas time it was specific gifts I was looking for and the other day it was literally all of dairy cereal cleaning supplies things like that which are obviously crucial and this was at like 9:30 at night. they don't close until midnight you would think that they could maybe do this stuff when people are not trying to do their grocery shopping? Pretty ridiculous. An employee's comment the other night was that well corporate isn't going to Care nobody's going to care they will read your complaints but they won't change anything. Pretty sad how bad this Meijer store has been getting in the last several years. People need their groceries more than they need your floors waxed get it together management

Better off just going to Walmart at this point. Meijer has axed a lot of their private brand items meaning there really isn't any reason to choose them over anybody else. Prices are also through the roof ON PAR with the likes of Family Fare at this point.

This store has friendly staff who are happy to help, and/or answer questions.The bathrooms are almost always clean, and if they aren't, they will clean it as soon as it is brought to their attention.Another thing I really like about Meijer is, if the store is really busy and the checkout lines get super long, they will open up another register or two.The obnoxiously long lines to checkout, is something that I have had issues with at other stores, especially Walmart. It makes no sense to me why they have 20 check-out lanes, but only open 2 or 3 of them even when the wait time in each line is roughly 45 minutes or more!Thank you Meijer for being head and shoulders above the other stores in customer service! Keep up the great work! 🙂🙃😊😌

Clean Meijer. Nice people. NEED TO GO OLD SCHOOL WITH THE REAL CASHIERS. I don't like the self-checkouts.The shelves are stocked nearly 24 7 now. You can ignore all the reviews on thatThe prices are coming down. Slowly. But they are down from last year.Overall I will shop here over the other groceries.

The store is always clean, staff is helpful, and the greeters are super friendly. Only giving two stars because lately their shelves are often empty. It is close to the college, so the college kids swarm like locusts often leaving bare shelves, especially in the freezer section. Also the dog food shelves are often empty.

4 times I have ordered pick up and all 4 times they have not been able to fill my order in the time I chose. Tonight, I chose the 7-8PM time slot and the women I spoke with told me they have not even started my order (it’s 7:33) and that it now won’t be ready until tomorrow BUT they will be kind enough to hold it for me. Will not be using this location any longer.

As a person that’s not from Michigan and my first time coming here it’s definitely a mix of Walmart and target. Expect prices to be a little higher than Walmart, but on par with target. I really like the produce section of this department store.

I've been going to Meijer since I was a toddler. Remember they use to have a kids playground in the middle of the store. Filled with huge fake animals you could climb up on and play king of the mountain!

I recently interviewed for a DLI position at the Meijer in Standale, Michigan, and I was quite surprised by the unprofessional conduct of the head manager, Ryan. During the interview, Ryan did not wear a hair net or a beard net while handling deli meats, which is a basic hygiene requirement for such a position. This lack of attention to food safety standards raised serious concerns about the overall professionalism of the deli department at Meijer. It made me question whether I would want to work for someone who allowed such lapses in basic food safety practices. As someone who takes food safety seriously, I believe that a manager should set a strong example for their team, and I was disappointed that this was not the case during my interview. Consequently, I have decided to seek employment elsewhere, where a commitment to professionalism and food safety is a top priority.

I stopped by the Meijer gas station on my way home from the cross country event at Covenant Christian High School to fuel up. It was a busy day, but the staff was friendly and efficient. I was able to get in and out quickly, and the gas was a good price. The station was clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms were also clean. Overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely recommend this gas station to others.

It's Meijer, pretty much the same as any other Meijer. The employees that I have interacted with here have been extremely pleasant and helpful. The checkout lines seem to have become outrageously long as of late though, I hope this gets corrected sooner rather than later. Added 6/9/22: Not usually too many checkout lanes open so unless you want to use the self checkout (the machines are kind of finicky, especially with coupons or bottle slips) be prepared to wait a while. Pretty sure I caught some kind of disease from either the filthy bathrooms or bottle returns as they are straight up gross with mold growing on the wall.

They treat you like a thief at the self checkout. The wait for the bottle return is always super long and there are always multiple machines down. Very ghetto for a Meijer.

This Meijer is horrible. Things are rarely in stock and their bakery is extremely incompetent. I usually end up driving further to the Alpine location because every time I come here, I'm not able to purchase more than half of the items on my list. The employees are also very poorly trained.

You’ll see this review is five stars because I love this Meijer, although this isn’t a positive review. I’m not one to leave reviews, especially not negative ones, but I’m disappointed leaving the store today.Upon walking into the Standale location for just a few groceries, I witnessed a woman who seemed to be possibly a manager being incredibly disrespectful to her staff. In just the 10 seconds it took me to walk past her, I watched her talk to two adult staff members as if they were children. Incredibly condescending and quite frankly inappropriate. I felt terrible for those staff members, especially the older man who was the greeter when I walked in. I hope this woman quickly learns how to talk to people and show some respect, or learns how to do this job without any employees. Will happily describe this individual if this ever makes it to the appropriate individuals 🙂

Every time I go to the Standale Meijer I can never complete my grocery list. Today I wanted to buy the Hudsonville Ice Cream and the didn’t even have what was on sale!!! I wanted 5 and they had only they only had 3 flavored and not even 5 items! Very disappointing
