Called at 1:30pm on a Sunday to ask a few questions about screen repair. Said I'd be dropping off later that day. Worker said nothing about them closing at 4pm...would've been a nice heads up.Show up at 4:02, doors are locked but people still checking out and in the store. Since I'm only dropping screens off and not shopping, I ask if I can do that...nope.Yes, I should've checked the store hours, but it just speaks to a lack of customer service.

Very disappointed with this location. Purchased a griddle in store on 4/6 with delivery, was told it was in stock and would be called a couple of days later to schedule delivery. No one called. I then called on 4/11 and was told griddle was being assembled as we spoke and should be delivered in a couple of days. Still nothing. Finally called back again on 4/16, and was told it would be another week before I could expect it to be delivered. All of this could have been avoided with clear communication. I have purchased many large items from this location in the past, but will be taking my business to another store in the future.

Best neighborhood hardware team ever!Been receiving their help in all sorts of crazy ways for over 20 years—excellent selection of things you need and especially those weird things you had NO IDEA you’d end up needing to complete projects, stop leaks and mainly stay sane saving $$ by learning from these guys how you can fix it yourself:) My Dad passed away 23 years ago. Their store employees turned out to be the best surrogate “Dads” a girl could’ve asked for. ACE will always have my business because of their store crews and their consistent customer service.Highly recommend.

Rental department needs help. Always a long hold when I call just to find out if something is available. On my 13th minute of being on hold right now. (Try an online booking system.). Seems to be short staffed. Witnessed the manager lose his cool on two different occasions when something went wrong with a customer. Always a stressful experience. The rest of the store is great as are the staff. Rental just needs an overhaul to accommodate the kind of volume they deal with.

Nice store, unfortunately have had several experiences of poor customer service since July. There does not seem to be anyone available to help - even when staff are called over the radio by the cashier and the store is not busy they do not come to assist. Staff are not knowledgeable or overly helpful.Prices are very high, for example the same hose fittings that are $9.99 at Ace are $5.99 down the street.Even buying a few bolts is difficult, they require customers to write down what each item is on the bag in addition to quantity and price - have not had to do that at any other hardware store.It is easier, less expensive, and more efficient to to go a big box store or drive a bit further to Godwin in Ada.

Everyone was amazingly friendly and in a great mood. One employee even stopped to give me a hot wing recipe(I was looking at the spices) it's a drive for me but I'm glad it was worth it!

Bad business, called for a price to rent a tool, $85, not bad until you add the hundreds of dollars to use the $85 dollar tool. Mismanaged and under informed staff. I'll drive the few extra miles to the big box from now on.

Staff are helpful, and they have almost anything you need. After a recent move needed duplicate keys made, replacement LED ceiling and appliance bulbs, a leaf blower, etc. In and out in 10 minutes!

Had a very frustrating experience when I came in with hopes of buying a snowblower a week or two ago. Looked around in the outdoor equipment area for probably 10 minutes until I found a lady (Sue?) to ask for help. She told me she would find someone to help me who knew a little more about snowblowers. Waited around for another 20 min. until she came back and told me there was no one in who had the expertise necessary to help me and unapologetically told me I’d need to come back a different time. Was hoping to support a local business but ended up going down the street to the big box store. Waste of time.

I love this store I just need to know that the girl running the register can look up the nut or bolt that I'm trying to purchase because they aren't clearly priced. She really needs to learn some customer service skills. Such a waste of time going to Home Depot

This review is long overdue - my apologies. I needed advice regarding removal of some blackened streaks that appeared on a natural wood surface of a small shadow box. Sandy (who I later found out is the owner) not only stopped what he was doing to assist me with my questions, but he actually opened a new bottle of cleaner and cleaned the item himself. That way I didn't have to purchase an entire bottle just to clean a couple streaks. He said, "Merry Christmas" when I offered to pay him for the product and his time. My visit to Kingsland Ace Hardware was during the 1st week in December 2021 - a very busy time at all retail establishments. Yet, Sandy was willing to assist me. I have ALWAYS shopped at this Ace Hardware in the past, but they have a forever customer now. Thank you Sandy for your time and kindness. I thought this type of customer service was gone with my parents generation. You sir, are the BEST!

Went to the store to return the product purchased online.the owner could not return it because “he is computer illiterate” and “Scott who does returns didn’t come to work today”. Not even sincere apology.Thank you for a quick response. If you were as efficient in the store as you were here, my review would be 6 instead of 0 stars. Anyway, drove from your store to Great Lake Ace on Michigan street and returned it within 2 min. Item was purchased online and per policy, it can be returned at any nearby store. Even if you couldn’t return it, better customer service would be helpful.

If I could, I would rate this a 0 star experience. Rented a hammer drill that was defective, brought it back to Bruce (manager) and he charged me for something that didn't work. He was really a jerk and not professional at any means. This is going to be my last visit to this Cascade Ace for a LONG time. Would NOT recommend to anyone that is looking for a good quality working machine to rent.

Do not rent from here. We’ve done a rental through here and Home Depot for home DIY/ cleaning items and we will never do them through here again. Home Depot was much more understanding and flexible. At Ace, I got charged a fee and an extra day because I couldn’t get the return back Monday morning, on top of another days charge for the evening we picked it up, because we wanted to get it before the store closed to have it bright and early the next day. So charged 3 days of rental for use 1 day. The person was extremely rude, just a horrible experience! Will take my business elsewhere, which is a a shame because as a younger family and the location, we bought here often.

Sometimes when Lowe's or Home Depot doesn't have the top-rated brand of whatever I'm after, ACE does. That's when I go to Kingsland, it's the closest ACE to me. The other ACE stores are good too, and sometimes I have to go to them when the item I'm after is out of stock at Kingsland. The ACE web site makes it easy to tell what's in stock where.

This place is awesome. I went to a car dealer for a new key for my car and they told me that no matter where I got a key cut I would need to get it flashed at the dealer for $155. Instead, I came to Kingsland Ace and they cut a key with the fob casing for 24.99, no flashing required. Great product, service, and resource that everyone should be aware of. (The backing of my original fob was still in one piece, so I was able to keep that too)
