I love cat cafes! This tiny little cafe is bursting with love for cats! You can choose if you want a 30 minute or 1 hour stay for a super fair price. Then you go into the cat room and get to sit and play with the precious kitties! The cafe staff were really nice and understanding when I made a mistake with scheduling. Support your local cat cafe!!

Wonderful place! Reserved a thirty minute slot with the cats and had a blast. Staff at the counter told us that we were the first visitors of the day and the cats would likely be very cuddly, which was definitely right. Cute, clean, and very enjoyable. We live several hours away but will be making the effort to stop by every time we are back in the area, it's just that good.

Great place to bring a kid to pet cats and maybe take one home with you. I didn't take one home. Took my kids here to drink coffee and pet some cats. Made a reservation online, super easy. Also sounds like you can call in too. Staff is friendly and made our drinks right away. Went in and played with the cats. Cuddle some and had some awwwww moments. So if you're watching a kid or need to kill an hour I would recommend this place.I didn't have any of their food but also did want ti giver them a bad review for not having them.

Let’s start with what I liked…✨The drink menu was comprehensive with something for everyone and cute creative names and combos.✨The gift area was stocked with lots of treasures for cat lovers, and I picked out two stickers that I adore.✨I loved to see the calendar packed with lots of fun events including yoga, tarot, collage, and more!✨ 817 cats had been adopted to date! I love the mission of this place and the way they are finding homes for their catsNow for the rest..:🚫 the cats seemed tired and stressed, I heard and saw three separate cats hiss at people to tell them to back off, one hissed at me when I approached quietly and extended my hand for her to sniff….🚫 the space is so so small and there are barely any places for the cats to hide and escape unwanted attention or rest, it would be great if they had more high ground spaces and hidey holes to observe on their own terms🚫 there were so many people let in at a time and barely any cats, which seemed to lead to overstimulated cats (hence the hissing) everyone was fighting over the attention of a few cats 🐱 many of whom seemed to want to nap…it was awkward to sit in such a small space filled with people and very few catsOverall I loved the mission of this cat cafe, I think the overall idea is a good one, but the cats seemed like they needed a break from constant company, and I wish they had limited the amount of people per visit.I’ve been to other cat cafes where the cats had ample space to hide and take higher ground, the ratio of cats to people made more sense, and the cats were in good spirits. I think this place has a lot of potential, but we did leave early because it was upsetting to see so many disregulated cats.

I love everything about this place. The coffee was the best I've had since being in Grand Rapids, the atmosphere was amazing, and they had a huge variety of souvenirs for purchase. Most of the cats were very sweet and cuddly, and some weren't, but that's just cats for ya. Absolutely coming back and would highly recommend to any cat lovers or coffee lovers.

Our drinks were good!!! But I don't think it was 14$ good! When we got In the cat room the people ahead of us were playing with the cats like toys! These were grow adults! The cats would run away and they'd pick them up regardless of the cat running away.. And then complain when the cats would hiss! Two of the cats were heavily sick! One was sneezing blood and the other you could tell was miserable and was hiding from people because it didn't want to be played with and kept sneezing and struggling to breath ... I love the idea of this! But there definitely should be someone in the room watching over the cats so they can monitor people and what happens to the cats and the cats should be better taken care of.

My Grandchildren Love This Place, this was my first time. All the cats were friendly and we gave all of them some love and toys. 2:00 appt. so it was sleepy time, but they didn't mind all the attention even with their eyes half open. I fell in Love with Samuel! A little pricey but for all they do, it's worth it. We'll be back soon!! Ohh, the lattes are strong!!

It was very surprising to come to a cat cafe and find Lotus energy drinks!! And they are good folks, the Cats Cradle was on point. The young lady working the cou ter was patient and friendly. If you are near the area, this detour is worth the stop. I do caution, this reservation only cafe does allow walk ins, if there are no reservations.Kid-friendliness: Kids big or small will enjoy it. Grown men become kids when covered on cats!

Quaint small coffee shop. Sprinkle the mood with rescue cats that are up for adoption?Do not mind if I do.Well presented, from the cubby Cafe to merch shop. Adore the homemade gift goods and the mystery bag was EVERYTHING.This was a birthday gift to my daughter and now it is a go-to again for any reason.Parking: Spacious, plenty of spots off from Divison. Entry door has moved to the back of building. Very clean.

Smelled of freshly brewed coffee when I walked through the door. I'm not sure who the very bitter lady was that left a post the size of a book on here but I promise, nothing she stated is true. They were all very loving and cuddly cats/kittens. Even if they did have a cat that was antisocial, we as cat lovers should be helping socialize them, not complaining about me, me, me and what I want. The cat room had a very mild smell of cat food and we enjoyed every minute of loving on the precious rescues. They also have a full menu of different latte/coffee special's, a small gift shop and great customer service. If you love cats and want to invest in helping care for those that need your help then you won't find a more satisfying experience then Happy Cat Cafe. We spent about $150.00 after the merchandise and drinks but I would gladly of donated that much towards a rescue and would not of gotten the experience that comes with it.

Employees were nice, cats were friendly and well taken care of, and the drinks were nice! However there was a loud child yanking on cat's tails, screaming, and just harassing cats that wanted to be left alone. Although there is rules against this, the rules aren't enforced so the employee allowed it to continue. Also alarmed after I saw a review from a few months ago that showed BEDBUGS on the seats

Great GR cafe! Good drink selection and service. Plenty of cool cat merchandise. Staff was able to be flexible with our reservation time. When we arrived it was very chill and the cats were mostly napping. We did have some young children come in later that were noisier but most of the cats didn't seem too bothered.

As a cat lover my friend, and I decided to check out the cute cafe for the first, and last time. We enjoyed being able to play with the cute cats for only $7. The cafe was very cute, and the set up for the kittens was very nice. It wasn’t until towards the end of our visit we noticed something very unpleasant. While sitting down on the cushioned bench we noticed there were tiny bugs crawling, til which we realized right away were bed bugs. One of the volunteers addressed it, but the barista completely dismissed it, almost as if this wasn’t a new problem… then followed with saying “it could be the tenants upstairs. I left very disappointed, and had to go home immediately to change, and throw the clothing away that I was wearing… also had to miss work.

Creative coffee beverages priced at reasonable amounts. Lovely barista interactions every time. But the most important feature of Happy Cat - the cats of course! They've recently renovated to expand their cat area, providing more play space for the kitties and seating for the humans there is a completely blind cat there named Ray and he is the true embodiment of prosperity in the face of adversity. He loves to chase the bee-on-a-stick toy and will SPRINT on the kitty cat hamster wheel, it is SO sweet and heartwarming to see him thriving in the environment Happy Cat has created. After my visits I feel like I'm glowing, probably from all the serotonin, and am always looking forward to my next visit 😺

I absolutely loved this place! Everything about it was so cute, from the delicious coffee to the cute merchandise! I enjoyed petting the cats and the kittens!!! I enjoyed drinking the Nutella hazelnut iced coffee, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! The girl up front was the sweetest person and made the experience absolutely “purr”fect! 💗

Super cute place. I brought my kiddos here and they were so happy to play with cats and kittens! Really nice establishment and they gift you a warmed or iced beverage as well. There is a fee for participation 🙂

I've went there mutiple times with my boyfriend. It has always been a lovely experience. I recommend going online to reserve spots because it can be a very popular area and only so many people can be in the cat room at a time.In the cat room there's many toys to play with the cats and you can ask the owner for laser pointers. There's also lots of areas to sit. Also a fare warning that the cats can be really shy at times so they might not even want to play. I recommend buying a bag of cat treats at the counter for $5. They love them and will definitely warm up to you.For the drinks, I've tried the raspberry and butter beer latte. I didn't really like them as they have a strong bitterness to them. I recommend trying the blue margarita though! It's basically lime blue berry red bull. So delicious.They also have many options to buy cat stuff. Like cat beds, cat wine, cat toys, collars, etc. My cats absolutely love the wool mushrooms toys.Parking: Very open parking in back of the cafe.

This caffe is totally awesome! The drinks were hands down one of the best i’ve had from a local caffe and the cat room was clean and tidy( which is hard to do with 5+ cats ) The lady working at the register was super nice and encouraged us to check more things out and stay for longer than we planned. I would definitely recommend but please do not bring your little children here. A 1-3 year old came into the room and made all of the kitties scared stomping and screaming - please leave your kids home and wait until they are older and won’t disrupt everyone.

This was a pretty sweet place. It was not any sort of fancy lounge type of cafe, but it was nice. The price to see the cats is not free, and for four people for 30 minutes came out to be somewhat expensive, so be prepared to pay for both your drinks and your time there.As far as drinks go, they're not bad by any means. We didn't end up getting coffee, so I can't comment on that. The apple pancake chai we got was made with the oat milk that they make, which made it taste like liquid oatmeal in a good way. A bit thicker and sweeter than I'd like, but it might just be your cup of tea!The cats were very cute and very sweet, and I hope they have success in getting them adopted out. Their resident cat, Ray, was an awesome little blind kitty.Parking: There was a well enough sized parking lot in the back of the building. At busier times, it may get full, but it was not while we were there.Kid-friendliness: It can be very fun for well-behaved children. They are allowed in at the least.

We found this place by accident, the idea is very kind, original and the coffee is good!They have a special coffee menu, special drinks with tea and fruity; merchandise and the best part, they have shelter cats in a designed space for people to go and adopt them.Highly recommend this place, Sri by and get a coffee or help somehow buying merchandise. 💗💗💗💗🐈🐈🐈🐈

Great concept, but the cats are feral so they didn't seem interested in playing with anyone that came in, the snacks were crappy prepackaged ones (unlike the pic I saw of bakery type things on Google) and the drinks were Kuerig coffee and pop, no diet option except for La Croix. So I feel like I paid to go to a cat cafe that didn't have cafe food and I couldn't play or pet cats.

Great place to grab a drink while petting some cats! Price was reasonable as well. An awesome idea to get cats acclimated to humans and a chance for them to get adopted. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cats whether they’re looking to adopt or not!
