The first time I came in here, they ignored me entirely, so after 15 minutes I walked out. But numerous people told me this was a wonderful place to bring your dog so today when I walked in for my grooming APPOINTMENT, I was ignored for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged my presence. Keep in mind I am a woman of color, so do with that information what you will. I brought my dog in for a grooming appointment with Celina today, and he came out looking like a different dog. His haircut was not a traditional cut or style for his breed, and he was not matted. She said he was aggressive, having his face groomed, but I have wiped and brushed his beard after every meal since the first day I rescued him. When I told her I didn’t like how short his face was she could care less. We opted to just do the face, feet, and Fanny, and because she took his face so short he now looks disproportionate. I’m sure there are some other wonderful groomers here, but the customer service I have experienced here today is enough to keep me from wanting to return. The top photo was him before, and the bottom photo shows how much she took off after asking for a little even out because we were growing his hair out.

We finally found a groomer and environment that our dogs love. Makayla is wonderful! Our two bonded Shihpoos visit together and one watches while the other is groomed. They are not crated and they are given lots of love and affirmation. When we return for pickup, they are typically beaming. I’m so relieved that we’ve found our person!

This place is so cute! We brought my dog in for his birthday, and he instantly loved it! It’s the perfect place to show your puppy some love on their special day or to just find something new that they’ll love. Definitely will be going back!

I've had my rescue pup (Husky/Golden Retriever mix) washed/groomed at a few places around metro Grand Rapids. Fido & Stitch has definitely become our go-to. The staff takes great care of Murray and he shows no anxiety about making the trip (he's typically pretty anxious). The treat selection is awesome and they have so many unique items. Thanks for taking care of Murray, team!

We brought our 1 year golden old to Fido & Stitch and couldn’t say enough good things about our experience! Amanda did a great job on Tucker and even sent me pics of him mid groom to make sure I liked how he was being trimmed.Tucker loved Amanda and we will definitely be back! When we picked him up he had fallen asleep on the table. Highly recommend. Worth every penny!

My sweet little Dora's Before and After!Amanda was very nice and easy to work with. She listened to the hairstyle I wanted for Dora and made it look wonderful!Dora is rocking a schnauzer cut with a Pup-adour (like a Pompadour...but for a dog! Haha- get it?!)

Excellent salon, with a very friendly and patient staff. The whole crew has been pleasant to work with and speak with, but lately I've had Celina grooming my dog. She is great to work with .Wonderful groomer, highly recommend this place.

I take my deaf dog here to get her nails trimmed and the staff takes such good care of her! They even remember her hand signals! It's so nice to have a place that loves our dog like we do!Definitely check them out if you've got a dog you want to spoil!

I have been coming to this location for the past three years and had a great experience until our groomer moved out west. We were transferred to Celina for our grooming. Last month we had our first grooming Appt with her and she cut our dogs hair in a way that we never asked for or previously mentioned. She shaved the first two inches on the base of our dogs tail. We were disappointed and were going to give her a second chance. I reached out via phone about needing to reschedule potentially and that I was working on finding a family member to bring my dog in for the appointment. Celina attacked me on the phone about how she is commission based and that she has a list of clients that have been cancelling on her. She then stated that she no longer will be accepting me as a client. I asked, “Due to this appointment I no longer can have my dog groomed their?” and she stated “Other groomers can work with you, but I no longer will”. I highly recommend finding a different place to get your dog groomed if you are thinking of coming here and they offer Celina as the groomer. The phone call was very unprofessional and could have been handled in a much smoother manner.

First time today and I must say I'm not taking my dog anywhere else! Stephanie did a fantastic job with Hugo! He's a long haired chihuahua who's never been to the groomer (mostly because he's very easy to maintain) but I thought he needed a change and was most definitely not disappointed! They definitely care about their clients- both two and four legged!

My pup told me I had to leave a review because of how much fun he had going into Fido + Stitch, I have never felt so welcomed in a shop and the employees loved on my dog like he was one of their own. Cappy and I give this shop a 5 paw rating 💜🐾

Very poor and disappointing customer service. I have used the grooming services at F&S for several years and after today's experience will never frequent again. I acknowledged that I was going to be late for my dogs grooming appointment. I called the store 2 times prior to the appointment time to advise them I was going to be 7 minutes late, but no one answered either time. Knowing they have a 15 minute grace period I figured it would be okay. Before going in my dog was relieving himself and it took an additional 2 minutes. Again, I take responsibility for being late.When I walked into the store, I spoke with the person at the front desk, apologized for being late and was met with a very rude toned response and was told the groomer would need to decide if they could see him still. She then returned and told me that because I was 9 minutes late they would have to cancel my appointment and reschedule out till January. On top of that because it would be considered a missed appointment I would have to pay the cancellation fee which was over $40. I asked why they were not honoring their 15 minute window, but were going to charge me for the cancelation fee? Again, the person replied in a very nasty tone that it was their policy. This would be okay, if I was 15 minutes or later, however I walked in 9 minutes after my scheduled time, called 2 times prior to advise I was running late and the person working the front desk did not answer, but was just sitting on their personal phone when I walked in.Overall, this was a very negative customer service experience and with the full understanding the groomer's pay is based on commission, I respect cancellation policy and fees. However, the piss poor response, tone, facial expressions of the cashier and only following half of their stores own cancelation policy, it has left a bitter taste and loss of a customer.

They have a huge variety of dog toys, quality food, adorable treats, beds & accessories. Set up a grooming appointment and shop while you wait for the maximum Fido experience :) You won’t find a nicer, more caring owner!

They did an amazing job with a first-time appointment for TWO naturally anxious collies. Bathes and paw manicures have my little monsters groomed and I am so thankful to the team here. Will be coming back!!

I used to bring my dog here for her haircuts and the first time I loved the experience and I could tell that my dog was very comfortable. However the second time I took my dog in I called to ask them how much long she would be there for and the person that answered the phone said "she's gonna be a while longer because she's just not having a day". When I asked what that meant she stumbled on her words a bunch and then said "you can just talk to the haircut person when you get here". I was VERY upset with that response but the worst part was that we got charged an extra $15 due to her taking longer. I have taken her to get the same grooming service done at least 10 times and she has never ever had any issues anywhere else. This makes me feel as if she was uncomfortable for a reason. I will not be taking her back here, and do not recommend it to anyone else.

I really like the way they groom my small/medium size cavalier. He looks great every time.But today I accidentally took the wrong exit on my way there, and I was going to be 3 minutes late to my appointment. I called at like 2:57pm to let them know I'd be there at 3:03pm instead of 3pm. I figured 3 minutes is unfortunate, but no big deal, right?Apparently it is a big deal. The receptionist did not mute the phone when she checked with the groomer to see if that would be okay-- I heard their whole conversation. The groomer said "Are you kidding me? Let her know if she isn't here by 3:05 we won't take her dog." Even though I was there 3 minutes late, my dog was still done early.I understand the need to stay on a time schedule, but it was an honest accident. I felt kind of embarrassed by the tone in her voice. I didn't feel super comfortable even leaving my dog there, because how do I know they aren't talking bad about him or me when I'm not there? I was so uncomfy I don't think I can go back.

Took my 9 month old Aussie in for a body contour. I did make note to trim her lady area trimmed a little shorter.I am extremely disappointed in the “trim” my pup received. It’s way shorter than I expected, she looks very boy-ish. I wanted a light trim and her backside is shaped! I also did not know they don’t have kennels and I couldn’t find it anywhere on the website. I dropped her off and quickly had to make other arrangements for our dog sitter to pick her up when she was done as I had to work. Bummer it didn’t work out.

Strict and rigid Owners policy.I have taken my dog to this groomer or about a year, maybe year and a half. I've never had any complaints until being asked to pay an unreasonable fine.I called a while back to schedule my dogs appointment. The women on the phone explained that they were weeks booked out, which I expected. She put me on the schedule but once she realized my dog was a lab and wouldn't require a longer grooming time she found something at an earlier date and booked that instead. My dog got groomed at the earlier date and everything went well. A week or so later I got my notification for another appointment. the receptionist apparently didn't cancel the later appointment. I was unable to cancel on my phone so I called the front desk. They canceled the appointment on the phone and apologized for the inconvenience. They did not explain I would be required to pay a $25 late cancelation fee.I've called twice now and they will not allow me to schedule a time to book my dog for a grooming appointment until the fee is paid. The receptionist on the phone stated the owner said I need to follow their policy or I'm not able to book my dog for grooming.I'm not going to pay a late fee that costs half of my dogs grooming price and something that was a careless error on their part. Very disappointed.

We love Fido & Stitch! Great service & friendly employees every time we go in! Their dog walking is super convenient; their bathing/salon/nail trims are great prices; the treat selection is always fun! We love that they carry the 'Fluff & Tuff' brand toys... Our dogs favorite & they hold up VERY well for the money spent! Oh, and it's great to visit because City Built Brewing is in the same building. :-)

First time customer. I visited this establishment about a month ago.I took my 7 year old Aussie Mix for a bath and trim.I was charged $50. It's a reasonable price. What I liked about their service is that your dog is not waiting hours to get bathed or trimmed. As soon as your dog gets there they begin to work on him/her.It took them an hour, when at other dog grooming companies it takes them 4-5hours!If you ever worry how your dog is doing or if they are being taken care of at other grooming places bring them here instead! The groomer did a great job letting me know of the process and how they work. Made me feel confident that my dog was well taken care of.The location was kind of hard to see from the street. I belive It is between a brewery and or a fitness center. Parking is a little hard to find as well.Other than that the pet store is adorable, well kept, a bit small but it has everything you need for your pup.I definitely be bring my dog, Roxy back!

Our little halo has a hard time with grooming because of his old age and the groomer did a great job despite him making it difficult for her. We also stopped in for his birthday and they make suprise birthday boxes! Definitely stop in and check out the goodies
