Hours aren't correct on the sign or website, and this store isn't consistently open, live in the neighborhood and walk over and half the time I walk over and they've closed at 7pm when the sign says 10.

They had alot of great things for summer.There is 1 cashier that was on the phoe the entire time cussing at his apparent girlfriend. He was extremely Rude .I almost just walked out but I was afraid of him so I just stayed and waited for a different cashier.He was very rude to everyone that tried to speak to him. He would not get off his phone and was yelling at whoever he was fighting with. . I wont be going back there Ever.

Customer service was on point. Management has really took a turn for the better at this store. The staff was very helpful they even held the door open for me as I left. This store has really cleaned up around there in a very very good way. This is the go to store for all your basic needs.

Used to be a good reliable neighborhood store to go to when one doesn't feel like going to the battleground that is Meijers, but recently discovered that they are never open when I stop there, sometimes they are closed before 3 in the afternoon! And multiple times this has happened. No updates on Google or any communication from staff as to their new "hours." One day I even asked them why they were closed on a Saturday and they denied that this ever happened.A pity since I used to shop here alot.

I just left the store. Most of the aisles had debris & dust balls scattered throughout the entire aisle. Most of the debris could cause trip hazards. Forget about trying to maneuver a shopping cart, wheelchair, or scooter through. Unacceptable conditions! This isn't the first time finding less than favorable conditions. The only saving grace for this place is the employees that were working this evening.. Friday 10/19/18. They apologized and said that this was supposed to have been done last night. They were trying their best to clean things up and still take care of customers. THEY deserve raises!! They were pleasant and accomodating.

Cheap and easy access. Only problem is they will close randomly. Not to be that person, but it gets a little annoying getting off the bus, walking to Family Dollar, and then realizing they're closed so you have to wait 10 minutes for the next bus to arrive so you can go to Dollar General/Meijer instead.

I come here often, but tonight I needed to quickly pick up an item but they had decided to close early. I had arrived 10 minutes prior to there scheduled close time and actually walked in the door but then was told they had closed early...3rd time in 2 weeks they have been closed when their posted hours said they were open.

The ABSOLUTE WORST!! customer service EVER! We were in there in line with merchandise patiently waiting to check out, along with 4 other shoppers. That is when we met this nightmare of a woman, an employee there who was restocking the aspirin shelf, who could clearly see the line forming. Thinking there MUST be another employee in back this monster kept working and completely ignored the now impatient line of customers. After one gentleman politely semi yelled “Is anyone else working?”, a few mins later he did it again and the “stocking lady”, stood up and yelled that she was almost done and we will have to wait.Needless to say, I dropped my $30/40 worth of merchandise on the counter and left her more s@@t to be restocked, along with the 3 other customers behind us.The store is a complete mess and that employee should be an ex-employee now!

Usually good but prices are comparable to Meijer or family fare. Also need to make sure things like trash bags do not get scanned twice. Happened twice here. Employees generally friendly.

I went there last night around 9pm, I stood in at the counter for 5 minutes, so the girl (I say girl, because real woman dont act like that) could finish stocking her cigarettes, I kept making noises because maybe she didnt know I was there, she kept turning around giving me dirty looks. Finally she came to ring me up, she had a scowl on her face the entire time, she didnt say 1 work to me while ringing me up, she just kept scowling. I will never ever go there again. She also hid her nametag so I couldn't see her name. Customer service at its worse.

Filthy, nothing marked right, employees sitting around. No inshore knowledge,asked and employee about a clearance rack with no mark down stickers on it. Ask employee how much the markdown was,response ( I don't know). Never shop there again

I don't dislike Family Dollar. It's a good inexpensive place to buy the basics. The clothing and shoes and whatnot are of a quality on par what you pay for them. And where else can you buy a 3D picture of our Lord, Jesus Christ? Or a bouquet of plastic blue roses for your uncle's gravesite? I gave it 3 stars. I would save my 5 star rating for Gucci.

Over all, it's not a bad store. Depending upon the time of day the staff is friendly however, there are more rude people than someone that can make your shopping experience more pleasant.

This Family Dollar displaced a real grocery store that was previously in the same location. I guess that's the way of the world, but it still sucks to see a giant chain with limited selection replace a full-service store. Prices here are typically higher than Meijer for food, but general merchandise is inexpensive (but low-quality) They're typically understaffed and the lines is long. Not a great place to shop unless you're desperate or pressed for time.

Very disappointed, this FD is very dirty and disorganized. Quick stopped in for a lint roller.. did not have it. So I bought packaging tape.

This store is a disgusting filthy pigsty.I walked thru and was appalled.It was so bad that I made a complaint to Kent County Health Department. I guess it wasn't the first one.They should NOT be allowed to even sell food.Terrible conditions,10 AM July.12,2018

I tried calling this store twice on a Thursday afternoon with no answer. I've also shopped here several times and noticed how poor their customer service is. Not at all professional!
