The freezer section has been almost completely empty for a week. Some aisles you can barely get through because there are boxes everywhere. A lot of items out of stock. Friday you could only pay with cash because the card reader was down and they didn’t have enough help to reset it or open another lane. Most of the time there’s only one cashier and a huge line backed up through the store. Surprised they can even keep this location open. I feel bad for anyone working there these days.

This location is always a hot mess. A few months ago there was someone working there who I assumed was the manager and the store looked amazing everything was in it's correct place, but I haven't seen her so it's back to being hot mess again.

Good selection, nice open layout, and not as picked over as some of the other locations but only 1 person working the register so long line.

I had a very negative experience. When I got to the checkout, my olive oil was leaking. The clerk was annoyed like I did it. She finished the checkout and charged me for it and told me to go get another one. I did, and I got oil all over my hands because they all leaked. They wouldn't give me a refund. I had to go find something else. When I did, the girl who checked me out was on break, and no one could give me a receipt because it was on her locked register. I waited 15 minutes more just for my receipt, which I wanted because I spent $17 and have had to return things before. Everyone in that store was very negative from the clerks to the manager.

Overall, not a bad neighborhood dollar shop, but since some employees can't be bothered to wear masks and get angry with anyone who suggests them, don't shop here unless you're looking for a virus...Three weeks later, same thing:

I was surprised to find that the entire freezer section of the store was empty. As a matter of fact, there isn’t a single thing left. Upon browsing the remainder of the store, I noticed that there were many empty shelves and items that were out of stock. Not to mention some of the cashiers were rude.

This store is really nice. I enjoy shopping it all the way up till I get to the register. At that point the stars start to fall. The cashiers are not friendly. They do not greet you when you place items on the belt and they can barley get out a thank you at the end of your payment. They wear earbuds which I wouldn’t mind if they were halfway decent to the customers. The store is very clean and organized which I appreciate and it’s the reason I gave 3 stars.

Won't be back. Boxes and boxes all over including th aisles. Many empty shelves and emoyees cussing and swearing at check out and in the candy aisle while putting stock on the shelf complaining about calling in this morning and other employees. Too many mfer's in their conversation..at work ...in the middle of the store.The lady at check out #4 was great.

9 out of 10Clean,organization & continuity in floor plan, friendly & helpful staff. Zach was wonderful on the register.I've been to many Dollar Tree stores. This one should be used as training.Must have great management to pull this off!

Updated review:It’s been a couple years since my first visit to this store and the last couple of visit have been no where as good as when they first opened. The store was a mess each of the last visits, empty shelves, unpacked boxes all over, the staff didn’t smile and were not very friendly like the first visit. Not to mention twice my car was side swiped “while parked”. I even parked farther from away with no other cars around in the hopes that my car would get side swiped again and it did. It look like it was done on purpose. I will not go to that store ever again and tell everyone to avoid that location. I’ll drive 20 minutes to a location that is better run, has friendly and polite staff and my car has never been hit at the other locations.The Dollar Tree store located at 44th st and Breton in Kentwood MI. is always clean and organized. It is usually fully stocked but today 5/1/21, many of the shelves were half or almost empty. They only had one register open at first but opened a second one when the line of people waiting to check out reached aproximately 15. I have always recieved good service and the staff has been polite and friendly. Over all it is a nice store.

More variety Was surprised to see what was available. My wife had to literally drag me out. Although the cashier didn't wrap my champagne flutes and they were broke when I arrived home. Not gonna complain over $2. Altogether it still was worth going there

Always have a large selection of products. I go in and browse regularly. Seldom leave empty handed. Just wish the stores carried more of the products the show on line. I don't want a whole case of most things.

I recently shopped there and spent about $60.00. The cashier was extremely rude to me as well as another employee. They really made me feel bad for even shopping there! I will never return.

This is your typical Dollar Tree store. The outside looks a bit unkept, especially with the lack of exterior lights, but the inside is clean and quite familiar. The service is great and there's ample parking with a Bank of America ATM conveniently a stone's throw away.

The store is clean, well organized, excellent variety of items. Staff not all that friendly. Be prepared to wait in line at check out. This Dollar Tree has the best stationary section!

Very disrespectful, foul mouthed, unhelpful, and unfriendly inner city urban trash staff. I don't give a flying rats you know what. About it being the largest Dollar Tree on this side of town. Train your bloody employees! Or expect to loose business. Not going back to this hood store. Absolutely disgusted by this waste of good retail space.

Such a refreshing clean and tidy place to shop compared to the Family Dollar store we just left. Everything is nicely merchandised on the shelves with pleasant people working here. I recommend this location of Dollar Tree!

A clean modern dollar store. Crew is always friendly. We go there as a first choice if we need a dollar store product. We pick up snacks before a roadtrip, and tons of all kinds of stuff. At Christmas I buy bags full of cool stuff you need if your the women of the house just little things you need but no one gives you for the Holidays. It's an extra gift and all my daughters and wife love it.

A little slow because there's rarely enough cashiers. Today my daughter was making a purchase. The whole transaction was interrupted after a woman continues to talk to the cashier the whole time. Not good!
