Our first time visiting was on a busy day (busy day for all ice cream places around). The line was long, but went by quick. The ice cream was delicious; we'll be back to try the food.Parking: Very small parking lot out back, street parking in the area usually isn't hard to find.

If you're reading this as a review, you are not a consumer of ice cream. Sure there is ice cream places everywhere, but Dairy Queen is more than a ice cream shop. It's a tradition with a heart. People who own ice cream shops outside of grocery retailers know this. They have to meet some standard of quality. They don't have other parts of a corporation to help them stay a float. So don't believe try and compare. And if I am right, leave others a positive review for others to contribute the same.

WARNING: New owners leaving out main ingredients, and charging more. No fudge in any of the 6 Buster Bars I got that should contain 3 thick layers, and they are "'Made On Sight" so this DQ is the problem. Also, large cheesecake blizzard only had 2 tiny pieces. They know you don't find out there are missing ingredients until you have eaten it and cannot get a refund. I was cheated (and notice they do not reply they will fix this moving forward). Never again.

Service was fast and awesome... The Jumbo chili dog and Peanut butter shake were awesome...The pretzel sticks were yummy, the queso cheese dip not so much... it tasted off...The bbq sandwich came super hot and flattened had to wait to eat it but it was good.

Always a great summer treat for ice cream and snacks. The staff are all very friendly and keep the line moving quickly so you seldom wait very long. Summer 2022 hours 1pm-9pm all week according to their sign (Google had none listed, and DQ site was off). Great place for a quick treat!

The manager made my sundae lopsided and it was falling over, so I asked her for a larger tray or something to put it in. She very rudely said " Um NO! I can give u a lid". But I can not eat it with the lid on. I will not ever go there again. It doesn't even taste the same. The manager was rude to her employee as well- so sad (I'm sure the employee hates it there but needs the job) #HORRIBLEBOSSES

I stopped by the Walker Street Dairy Queen to get my first treat of the year – 2022!!My favorite! A butterscotch Dilly Bar! When I was in high school, my friend and I couldn’t wait to go to opening day of Dairy Queen!🍦🍦🎂💞

We got there just before closing, the woman was cordial but the man was visibly upset, turned the sign off, was huffing and puffing in the back and when my partner asked for a banana split the man said “are you serious” and shook his head. I can understand the frustration with being there just before closing. But 1) you do NOT have online hours. 2) if you are open till 9:00, you serve until 9:00 I worked a serving job that closed at 9:00 but if a guest came in at 8:55 we would have to seat them adding a whole hour to the night, sure it was upsetting but I vented in private out of earshot of the customer. If you don’t want business from open to close then keep it up, it will definitely turn off customers.

The ice cream was alright, it's what you would expect from a Dairy Queen location. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to receiving the ice cream.There isn't much parking available here, which can be annoying, but it doesn't hurt to walk a little bit. The outside isn't very pleasant, with a lack of shade nearby as well as a lack of places to sit. I understand that this is caused by the small area this location is in.

The bbq sandwich was tasty. However I ordered a chocolate extreme also and it was actually an unchocolate extreme. I was very disappointed in my blizzard. The day sandwich was the usual.

We love Dairy Queen, and this location has great service. Ilmy family goes to this Dairy Queen around twice a week in the summer, and when it's not summer, we're counting down the days until this location opens.

It was so sad to see the DQ close on Fulton street but I'm so happy to see that the DQ is open on Walker street. The service and friendlyness makes me a permanent customer and their chili dog is worth eating there.

This DQ is closing soon. Don't be sad. It deserves to. The owners are fried. They are rude & run down.Building? Dilapidated. Seating? Nond...of any kind...whatsoever. When asked why no picnic tables in the space outside, a woman loudly & rudely stated (in Summer of '23) that it was "for coronavirus 2020 reasons"...and "a police order." Complete lies, yes, but my family has never been treated so rudely before.I knew another DQ was a half mile away, but I asked her nonetheless if another DQ was nearby. She said she didn't know. The woman was middle-aged and informed us her dad owned the place. Not sure why she felt inclined to share that. Whole episode was uncomfortable. Left us speechless. One got from the teenage boy working for her that this was a typical encounter @ this place.

I had to ask the cashier 4 different ways for a hotdog before she understood me. Then they wouldn't dip my vanilla ice cream in chocolate and sprinkles........I've always gotten a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate and sprinkles at DQ they said they could only do that with nuts and gave me the sprinkles on the side.....weird experience.....won't be back to this location.

This joint is trash me and my boyfriend chad were trying to order some footlong hotdogs but when I asked them to add some nuts to the dogs they laughed, made me feel stupid and walked away from the window thinking I was joking, I WAS NOT!!!

We have been patrons of this particular Dairy Queen for eons!! It's always clean. Friendly service. Sometimes you wait in long lines, other times you're the first. But always worth it. And you usually get a side of "people watching". 😊

Disappointing. Ordered 2 blizzards and they were soupy. They weren’t served flipped upside down and up and that’s why. They don’t take DQ coupons either, fyi. One star for quick service when they were busy.

Poor service. Staff are extremely slow and act as if customers were bothering them by expecting them to to do what they are paid to do. There were maybe 4 people in line not including myself and two children but still took the better part of 20 min to make 3 extremely basic things. And don't even think about changing your order! Thought it would be a nice snack after a hot walk through the zoo but I was mistaken.

Great spot for ice cream in the summer/spring. Lots of fun options from blizzards and slushies to good ole fashion soft serve. All they have is outdoor seating just an fyi, so it is best to go when the weather is good. Not allergy friendly as would be expected.
