Took our two dogs in to use the self-service dog wash. Fantastic! They have several different shampoos and conditioners. Also, complimentary treats in the rooms. Really a nice setup.

Chow Hound has harder to find pet foods and supplies. The store is clean and well organized, staff is helpful and friendly. It’s a much better shopping experience than the bigger pet stores.

We purchased 2 ferrets last night, the girls that helped us were amazing Savanah and Samantha i think were their names. Those girls were customer service oriented and you can tell how much they love the animals they are caring for there. The ferrets (Bruce and Edna) are awesome, very socialized, energetic and sweet babies, my kids are very happy!

Great selection of foods and pet supplies for chow/hound mixed breeds (of one I had a long time ago) and most domestic animals who are unmentioned in the title. Friendlier than national chains.

This chow hound is pretty good. The selection is a tad limited, they don't carry cheaper products (both in price and quality) due to space and likely higher income area.The employees are mostly teenagers and really quite polite and professional. A young lady had great suggestions for my cats knots and I am glad to see a local business make an effort to give them a chance.Though kinda pricey, and could use a few "Cheaper Brands" available, the Cascade chow hound is still much easier to deal with then petsmart or the like. Very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable people. My cat has food allergies and they were the only store that carried what he needed. When that brand was discontinued, they helped me find another one that worked for him. It's also got a good reward program with free bags of food and they let their cats roam so you can pet them!

Very helpful staff. Always have what we need. Their dog spa is fully stocked for you and more importantly, their hot water is hot so giving your dog a warm bath is very easy to do.

Great local pet supply chain. Their self service dog grooming stalls are clean and well stocked and are very affordable. Checking their prices for a dog paw cleaner showed it to be slightly cheaper than amazon.

Staff is always friendly, person are welcome. Easy to get to from 28th or Cascade and parking is plentiful. There is a wide selection of food, toys, bedding, etc. Depending on the day, there may be some cats available for adoption in the front of the store. Dogs can get a free treat at the register. Be sure to join their frequent shoppers program.

Terrible customer service. Bought something Tuesday and would not let me return today because I didn’t have my receipt and am not a reward member. I have never had a store not been able to look up my item with my credit card #. This is 2022, get with it. Never going back. Manager wouldn’t come out and flat out said no over the phone and never even offered in store credit. Terrible.

We often go to a Chow Hound to use the self serve bathes. Went today to this particular store. The water hose was leaky and water would not stay warm. The high velocity dryer (the main reason why we drive quite a ways instead of going to our local self dog wash place) had electrical tape wrapped around the hose in an attempt to patch holes... Needless to say that doesn't work. So the air pressure was not fabulous. Also didn't have a cone on the dryer so it was even more weak. I do love the options for shampoos, ear cleaning supplies, unlimited towels, and the fact that you aren't paying by the minute.

This place is THE place for your pets! Management is always helpful, knowledgeable and gives out trials of things. Animals welcome and loved. Big store to have your needs (they have all sorts of specialty food and items too) or they will get it; with a very helpful and kind staff, local small-town feel. :)

I love chow hound, but every time I stop into this particular store location, I wait a long time for someone to come to the register, have to search the store to find someone to ring me up or the staff are grouped together talking and don't acknowledge you. Nothing against the store, service could be much better.

Great selection... if you're looking for dog supplies. There are many shelves associated with dogs, but with any other animal there are 1-2 shelves max. It's a great store, but if you want something other then dog supplies, you're out of luck.
