Peewee usually takes about 3.5-4 hours to get a full grooming sesh in— but Cats vs. Dogs got him in-and-out in less than 2 hours and he was not only clean from top to bottom— but he left happy, calm, and at ease; as did I. Thank you for such an amazing job! 🖤🐶

I haven’t used them for grooming services but I live about 2 blocks away and it’s so convenient to walk Freddie there every couple of weeks for a nail trim. They’re super great with him and it’s way easier than trying to do it myself.

Seriously incredible! This fluffy orange cat can become a mean fellow when his nails are sharp. From start to finish, it’s about 5 mins to take care of this dudes nails. And he is transformed into a much nicer chap.The greeting from the front desk is a treat. He’s fluffy and sweet.Hands down the best experience ever.

My dog goes INSANE at other groomers and the vet's office when he gets his nails trimmed. At Cats vs. Dogs, he is patient and almost calm! All the dogs are happy and seem relaxed when we visit.

The owner and staff are friendly, and my pooch is always excited to go see the other dogs here. In my opinion it's a little on the pricey side, but with the amount of business they have and the length of time it takes to get an appointment, it would be bad business sense to have lower prices. I'm overall happy with Cats vs. Dogs

I have four dogs, three of whom I take here for nail trims (my fourth dog wears down her nails naturally). The service is quick, friendly, professional, and careful. It's a great comfort knowing that my dogs are in good hands for this routine but difficult-to-execute service.

I have a 17 year old Beagle that I've had since the age of 16 and she is very important to me. She needed a nail clipping that was overdue and I decided that I didn't want to traumatize her by taking her to the vet for such a simple task, which brought me to Cats Vs Dogs in Eastown GR.I found them by google and liked their reviews, so I called to setup an appointment for my little lady to have her nails clipped. I was very surprised to find out that no appointment was necessary, and I was welcome to bring her in whenever it was convenient for me.I got a great first impression over the phone which got even better in person once we arrived. The shop is located in a quaint neighborhood with easy parking and easy access to the entrance. I realized I had forgotten my leash on the ground at home after I helped her into my truck, so they were polite enough to loan me one to bring my senior citizen beagle in for service.The young lady that was working up front immediately brought her to a table and started on the nail clipping. She was friendly, personable, and attentive; I felt welcome and at ease which is hard to find within any retail establishment these days. I was in and out in under 10 minutes and will most certainly be back with my dog and cat for future grooming as I know my girls will be well taken care of by the friendly folks at Cats Vs. Dogs.By the way, they have a lovely resident cat that I greatly enjoyed interacting with. Anytime a business has a resident cat / dog, I always get the feeling that I'm dealing with my kind of people; people that enjoy sharing the wonderful journey of life with a furry friend at their side. 5 stars to you ladies and keep up the great work!

I was nervous to take my dog to the groomer because he has bad anxiety but Cats Vs Dogs did such a good job with him! They made us both feel comfortable and gave him such a cute trim! Plus he smells amazing! I will definitely take my dog there again!

The staff has always done a decent job cutting our dog's hair and I was never unsatisfied with the turn out. The younger of the two staff has always been nice and pleasant to engage with. As much as you would expect someone in a service related industry to be. Unfortunately, we had one too many unpleasant encounters with the older staff member. So much so that we decided never to return.The much older lady scoffed us for not bringing our dog in sooner for a groom even after we explained that the vet had told us to avoid places where a multitude of dogs gather due to a recent spread of the "dog flu". My brother is a vet and I had to ask him if the dog flu was a real threat and he assured me it was. In Chicago, he said a bad case of dog flu can kill hundreds of dogs.Equipped with this information we decided to not take our dog to the groomer until we could get her vaccinated, as they tend to have a dozen dogs or so at any given time out of their cages and meandering around. Potentially a great place to spread the dog flu to other dogs.Needless to say, by the time we got the all clear the dog flu was gone our dog was several months beyond needing a groom. When we finally brought our dog in, the older lady did not treat us well and made us feel bad that our dog had some areas that were matted even after the vet had told us we made the right choice and the matted spots were not all that bad.The bottom line: we just didn't feel we should spend our money at a place where one of the staff is going to be rude and would not try to understand our perspective or where we were coming from.Hopefully you can learn from this and try to understand that people don't care what you know or will remember what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

LOVE them! We drove 50mi each way after seeing all the great reviews and we were not disappointed. I am fairly picky about my little guy and he turned out great! The salon is clean, cute and I felt very safe leaving my buddy there for the special treatment. I can't stop showing everyone pictures of Hank's great cut!

They helped me in a crisis when my dog got sprayed by a skunk. So nice, so accommodating, so professional! The place is super clean and Bentley came home, smelling great, feeling confident again. So glad I found this place! I called them to make an appointment and due to some cancellations they were able to get me in that same day! Though I doubt that’s normal for them - they seem like a place that gets booked fast. My fur-baby looks just perfect and I love the neighborhood feel of this place. I will definitely be returning!

I have two Fur babies that have anxiety issues so the last groomer who done my cats, had did such a crappy job also only did some of what they were supposed to do yet charged me full price! I found this place on the internet as I was researching other groomers, This one had the best reviews of all the ones I had read.When I called the young lady on the phone was way more then helpful and very understanding to what I specifically needed done.They also was able to get me in on the day I wanted and time I asked for. When I got there the girls were so friendly and also again very helpful. My cats turned out great and I am so pleased with the work they both done to my Lyndsey and Lexus I have already told so many of my friends about the place and recommended this company. I will be coming back ALL the time from now on!! I just want you ladies to Know that all you had to do to the cats yesterday you done amazing and Lyndsey and Lexus as well as my fiance and I Thank You So Much!

The business is unorganized with dogs running all over. It seems really unsafe. The owner/manager is rough with handling the animals and rudely yells at them in front of customers. The only good thing is cheap walk in nail trims.

I absolutely love Cats vs. Dogs! We used to live within walking distance but I refused to find a new groomer when we moved further away because they're so great with our miniature schnauzer. I cannot recommend them enough!

They have always performed a reasonably good job on my dog's grooming but be advised: ask for a time estimate as the grooming times vary significantly AND they are reluctant to maintain your dog for any period of time following the actual grooming event. As a specific example, I dropped by dog off for grooming and 3 hours later, they were still not complete with the work. This was for an 18 pound dog that receives intermittent, at-home grooming. Anyways, I would recommend them with reservation about the time-just get the estimate up front and make your needs known!

Having worked for a vet during high school, I have never needed to use a groomer or vet for any dog's nail trim... until now. My daughter's 9 mo old 65# Blue Heeler/Staffy has separation anxiety and "toe-touch" phobia. After about 30 minutes of fight, I was unable to successfully trim even 3 of his nails. We took him to Cats vs.Dogs as a walk-in because it was close to home. With the help of the grooming table, a lanyard that was secured to it, and a second person, they were able to get his nails trimmed despite his squirrelly behavior in about 10 minutes time. Worth every bit of $ to not have to deal with the struggle or stress out an already anxious dog more than necessary. Will definitely return to this gentle handed, loving groomer!
