Wonderful staff, they take such good care of the birds. I board here from time to time and wouldn't do it anywhere else. They're affordable and even take my honey out so he can socialize.

This place is so awesome. They have free roaming birds, they have a variety of options of birds, all different sizes too. I found my baby there today and I found my new favorite place is GR. The owner and staff are the sweetest, friendliest people. They answer all your questions and just talk to you as genuine people and I love love that in a business. Their shop is so clean which I was so impressed with especially with seeing how many birds they have. They have SO many toys to choose from and even though I couldn’t take my bird home today (because she was still too young), they told me I can come in everyday and visit and I even got to walk around the place with my bird and let her pick out toys. Seriously cannot express how wonderful Casa de la Parrot is!!

I mean, I feel like this place deserves the four stars even with how dirty it is inside. But how can that be helped with all the birds they have. And it's a lot.They have parrots and cockatoos to parakeets and ones I don't even know the names. My son and I only went to look. The staff is extremely friendly. Frankly, even the customers are cool. It's got to be all the squawking and bird calls keeping the good feeling going.Except for the one with the potty mouth. You gotta watch that bird.You absolutely must visit this place.

great place went in to get a cockatiel and supplies found an employee she was very kind and helped me pick everything out ended up finding a pair of 2 year old cockatiels who are very friendly but not so enthused about head scratches witch is ok with me cant wait to bring them home! (Update) brought them home and after a few treats they willingly enjoy head scratches

We purchased a 3-month-old cinnamon green cheek conure here in February 2021. From the day she came home, she has blown us away with how sweet, intelligent, and hilarious she is. She was obviously hand raised by people who care. Since then, we've returned for nail and beak trims every 2 months. At $5, we couldn't ask for a better deal. The employees are friendly and very educated on birds. We recently went away for 3 days for the first time since we got our conure. We boarded her at Casa La Parrot and we were so worried. We shouldn't have been! When we dropped her off, they let us take her back to get settled in. We had to extend our trip an extra day and it was no problem. When we picked her up, she was totally fine and happy. At $15 for three days, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They even threw in a beak and nail trim. I would recommend Casa La Parrot to anyone looking for reputable breeder, cheap trims, cheap boarding, and amazing service.

It's dirty and I asked if I changed my mind can I bring it back. I was told yes you have 3 days. My dog wouldn't calm down.S I took it back on day 2. I didn't get my money back and I had to surrender it back to them. Beware before you buy from them or any other Pet store :(

Great place. It's just so sad to see a huge Raven trapped 24/7 in a tiny cage when it deserves to be free and fly! Apperantly they bought/own it so it wouldn't survive in the wild. Still no excuse to have a bird that doesn't belong in a cage all day without flight.

I purchased both of my parrot boys at Casa La Parrot and have been extremely happy with them.Huge selection of toys, food, and supplements. The customer service is superb and employees are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

If you have any interest in exotic birds whatsoever, this is the place to go. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, they've got good supplies as well as boarding and grooming services. I've got a Blue & Gold macaw, and I've never had a problem handling all of his needs here.

Anytime I went into this store they would never service me. The store is always dirty, from the floor to every cage they have so it’s not like they’re very busy or something. When I complained about not being serviced they made rude assumptions that I didn’t have experience which is not true since I have taken care of birds since I was 8 years old. They never even asked me questions in order to get to know my experience level. I truly hope they have made changes since my last visits. I would recommend anyone to go Preuss Pets located in Lansing, MI; they are kind and helpful there.

I take our Macaw over to Grand Rapids here. Maggie is great cutting nails and trimming her beak. They also have many exotic and a variety of birds.

Had a good variety of birds and toys. But I didn’t appreciate hearing an employee tell someone that when a macaw bites them to fling them against the wall so they don’t do it again. Really put a bad taste in my mouth.

I have received 2 cockatiels now after being on a waiting list. Once for a year and the second time for only a month or so. Its great because you can choose your baby from birth and bond with it growing up. They take extremely good care of the birds and let you know how they are doing until they are weaned and can come home. Everytime i go in they are busy cleaning or taking care of someone, it is a busy place. Highly recommend.

Had the best customer service!! Our bird was struggling and the gals were so kind and helpful. We got antibiotics and suggestions on how to take care of our bird. Highly recommend! If you enjoy birds, the many different types make cool sounds. The colorful parrot even waved at us with his foot! Bird and animal lovers will have fun here.

New Review- Update. 😢 ComingAwesome place. Friendly and well-taken care of birds. 2nd Blue Quaker. Prices have certainly gone up. Parakeet Birds are still $25. Bird sitting available and nail and wing clipping, depending on size of bird. I go and visit my baby until she/he is ready freely, while open. Love the place, would love a discount, more. 😆. Still great though. Boarding is awesome, visit anytime. New review to be posted.

They have taken such good care of us, when our bird passed before we were able to bring it home they found us a new bird and allowed us to apply the credit towards it. They're always happy to answer questions and are very knowledgeable!
