I ordered same-day delivery. It was scheduled to be delivered two days later. I accepted this. I received a message delivery morning that it would be there by end of day. It never came.I contacted them via their "chat agent" *cough* useless AI *cough*.The agent told me they "understood the inconvenience of rescheduling." Because it was not scheduled same-day, or even next day, I had to take time off work to be available. I lost a day's wages just to be disappointed with their lies.Do not get same-day delivery from this business. I will likely not be shopping with them any longer.-----I will change the review to 4 stars with explanation if my delivery fee is refunded, seeing as I did not receive the product I was advertised.

You know what, I saved 24.00 on my last purchase of toiletries and household cleaners. They have a discount program that really helps lower the expenses...I'm going here instead of Walmart for most of my household goods from now on.EVERY PENNY COUNTS!

*against my better judgement I went back. The same cashier was again very nice. The floor people were rude as heck. I hate this store.The cashier was sweet. The prices are decent. The store is a little rough around the edges, but not terrible, by any means.I would have given three stars...except for the condition of the restrooms. The bathrooms were NASTY!Man, I'm so weird. I feel like I'm always reviewing bathrooms, but my kids, they...literally have to visit every bathroom, always. Why?????😩I'm pretty sure no one reads my reviews, so I'll detail my findings.This one was pretty disgusting. Looked like some poor soul had a serious colon blowout on the wall of the handicapped stall at some point in the (distant?) past. Wow, is all I can say....Big lots has the kind of bathroom where you are afraid you'll catch something if you linger. So don't, even if you're desperate. I hope the employees have a private bathroom.My advice, hire a janitor...or fire the one you have.Not as dirty as the dollar tree on Plainfield, but close.

We went in looking for tea bags and purchased a side table. They had 3 possible options. We chose the lowest priced one, which will fit by my recliner perfectly. . Plus the very nice store manager gave us a discount because it had a noticable imperfection . It made our day!

I used to make this Big Lots a regular stop and enjoyed finding a good deal here or there. The discount aspect allowed me to ignore how gross the building was. Now the prices are at or near big box retail but despite that the store is disgusting and falling apart. The bathrooms were always a joke but now? Dear God. There wasn't even a faucet knob on the sink. I left without buying this week because I can't trust products from a company with so little self respect.

Yes I visit the Big lots on plainfield northeast on.6/9/23. After walking into the store I asked the young lady at the counter to help me find a new mattress I was going to have it financed and once I once she called back to the back. To let them know that I was coming in I proceeded to the back and was there I sit there for about 5 minutes and the two just looked at me and continue to wait on the One customer so I decided to leave because I didn't have all day to sit there and wait for them to wait on me and I told that to the lady that sent me back there at the front counter it just didn't seem like they were interested in helping me so I'll never go back to Big lot again as an African-American I guess my money is no good at their stores.

store was UGLY today. dirty. small endcaps out in the middle of nowhere. it was impossible to walk from the front to the back in a straight line. hardly any vday or st pats out but outdoor lawn chair cushions were everywhere. we don't need summer stuff in jan with a snow storm coming.

I returned 3 items here. I had the original receipt and tags on the items. She said one item didn't show up, she put the wrong numbers in and shorted me $10. I was in a hurry so I didn't catch it until that night and of course by then it's too late. I only gave one star because she should have been paying attention to what she was doing with me and not being nosy with another customer having a fit with the manager, she might have done her job correctly.

I went here Sept 12th with my family. My son was looking for a couch. We found a very nice one for $215. It was originally $299 but with thr sale and a coupon my son had put the door it was cheaper. Very sturdy and nice for the price. A young man named Marshall helped us. He was very kind and professional. I appreciated his help. The store had many items on sale and looked nice. I was greeted by a friendly cashier just walking in the door,she immediately said hello. I have always passed this place but never stopped in. Another nice man in furniture also helped me and my son sign up for their rewards program. In which just for signing up my son got an additional 10$ for buying the furniture and we both got a 5$ bonus coupon towards our next purchases. I shall be returning here to shop again for sure just because of the good customer service, friendly employees and great deals. Thank you for all your help Marshall and the other two friendly employees. My son loves the couch!! Sincerely a happy customer.

Found the exact item I was looking to buy. Found additional unplanned items, with impressive quality. Store was clean. Staff was friendly, pleasant, helpful, and available. No line at checkout. Store was not crowded. Masks were not strictly enforced. Some customers with masks and some without.

I love Big Lots, but the delivery guy that delivered my fans don't know how to write. At least the delivery company gave me my money back on a debit card.

Managers were extremely helpful. They both came in on their day off to make sure I got my furniture on time, During a storm and without power might I add. I'm very impressed and surprised that they were willing to go that far above and beyond for a customer. They saved my day from being a total bust.

I never got why my mom used to go to big lots so much until I bought my first house. Then it becomes a mini addiction. If I ever need anything in the house, this is where I go. I like this location. Theres a couple people who dont ask for your rewards, but some of the other employees make up for that. Mark is fantastic. Great customer service when you cant find something (they switch the store around a lot - keeps it interesting). Great deals and can order ahead.

Manager wouldn't even come to the front to see what was wrong with my credit card I got through them. Common problem but took cashier nothing he can do. I've been to there several times this holiday and I had to talk the cashier on what to do with was embarrassing but I had $300 worth of items so more embarrassing to leave the items there. Saturday around 4 or 5 pm. Please coach your leadership team.

I arrived at checkout with one item where there were two clerks.I placed my item on the counter that the older woman was working at but instead of ringing me up she walked away to other cashier and had a conversation with her When I tried to get her attention she just looked right through me like I wasn’t there and continued her conversation She finally said I’ll be right with you but she just kept talking She stated that she was helping coworker but she was talking about her personal life When she finally came over she started asking me how I was doing as if she hadn’t been ignoring me At this time she kept pestering me about joining the rewards program despite several demurrals She had the audacity to now say how sorry she was about the wait & give more excuses about why. My only reply was um hmm ZERO customer service!!!!!

I love this store. Every single employee is super friendly and always helpful! We have purchased a lot of our furniture here. Its a great place to stop by when you need something quick, like milk or eggs. Its also a great place to buy things for your home, from bedding to decor they have it all! We also stop by when we need things for our pets like food or litter. The employees know us by name and have become like family to us!

Workers at Big Lots in Plainfield in Grand Rapids MI were so upbeat, knowledgeable, and helpful. One if the guys putting up stock saw me having a little trouble reaching an item higher up and came right over offering his help to me, he was so nice. Nice to shop in a store where the employees go out of their way to be so helpful.

Good interaction with staff. We noticed a good selection of products. Took a while to wander through the store (when usually I want to hurry through). Not super chaotic therefore a far cry above some Big Lots in the area ...maybe the best in GR.

This was a nice store. Since Covid-19, the prices are higher then there were before this virus. The selves are not filled., their are some full but there are enough to make it look like they are really low on stock. There were some carts in a few isles up emptied. Still that not where they should be.
