Brought Lexi in for signs of a possible stroke. Luckily it was not that and she is starting to feel better. The care she received here was fabulous. It’s always a very stressful situation when you have to rush your beloved pet to an emergency hospital but this facility was top notch. I give 5 stars from start to finish for the care they gave to Lexi and myself. Sent pictures & updates for her overnight stay and also spoke with her caring physician. A big thank you to their entire team!

Our 3 month old Pom pup named Meeko fell off our bed and broke his leg. We drove all the way from Battle Creek since the Kalamazoo ER clinic was at capacity and I’m so glad we did!! Every single staff member was empathetic even though I was a crying mess. The free coffee and water is such a little thing that goes a long way to help in such a stressful situation. And they did cute little art on my pup’s cast as he had to stay over night! Their empathy and reassurance was the only thing that got me through the night. Thank you all 💚.

Took our puppy Luna here when she was not doing well. They immediately got her into the back and took an X-Ray, found she had severe pneumonia. The vet and staff were super nice and helpful the entire time. She had to stay overnight and they kept us updated and even sent pictures of her. The whole experience was fantastic. Thank you for taking such good care of our puppy!

Our Leo got a deep cut in his paw Saturday morning and we couldn’t get the blood to stop. When we brought him in, we were greeted by a staff member and the service was wonderful. They kept us up to date and took very good care of our boy. The facility is very nice and clean. Also LOVED the free (much needed) coffee. Thank you so much!

Think of every good thing you could ever possibly want to say about this hospital and their team members then multiply it by a million and it's maybe near how appreciative I am! Extremely patient, competent team working here. The front end team was so empathetic and calm it gave my wife and I piece of mind in a very scary time. I would definitely manage your expectations when it comes to time though. They are an emergency clinic, meaning that they triage according to severity and can't always communicate that to you. Plan on being their for a good minute, but know they will take care of your pets!

Awesome place! So glad it’s open 24 hours it definitely saved me in a pinch! The staff is friendly and explained everything very clearly. While my kitty was getting treated they sent me photos everyday! Obviously this place is run by animal people.Thank you! Casey is feeling much better after his unfortunate Lily lunch!

Everyone there was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient. We were going through a horrible experience with our sweet fur baby and almost lost her. They were so professional and caring and on top of things - I can’t imagine a better experience during a horrible crisis.

The staff is absolutely wonderful and loves each patient as their own. They took great care of Bella. Bella had to spend a couple days. The staff gave me updates whenever I asked, day or night. Sent pictures of Bella to ease my mind if she was doing good. They walked me through every step before they did anything and made sure I had no concerns and all my questions were answered. I only come here when Bella needs Emergency care! Thank you all!

Thank you so much AEH! Our dog ate a potentially lethal dose of chocolate and they got him right in and better quickly. I appreciated the ease of checking in, how kind and patient staff was, and the updates on him throughout the process. Don’t hesitate to bring your pup here. I felt their prices were fair, especially given the speed with which they saw and treated my pet, as well as the quality of care!

I brought my daughter’s dog in for an emergency (hour drive) the other night. Everyone was so nice and supportive. I had a follow-up with my regular vet a few days later and found that they had already sent my vet all the reports from the emergency visit. I was very appreciative that I didn’t have to worry about any paperwork. I highly recommend them for any emergency situations and if you’re local, I would suggest them as your fur-babies go-to for well visits.

My 7 month old puppy got into a Christmas present which was a brand new fishing lure she tore it out of the package and I’m assuming started chewing on it as puppies do. Well she got all three prongs stuck in her tongue as I was holding her mouth open I called the animal hospital and they told me to start driving as I only live 5 minutes from the animal hospital once we got there I was about done with the online registration but as soon as we got her inside they started right away. Gave me a play by play of what they were planning after assessment and they were so fast to act and I couldn’t be more thankful for them. My dog had to have surgery to remove bladder stones that were obstructing his ability to urinate. Dr. Demaline was very kind and clear with her findings and treatment plan while taking her time to explain everything in detail. She was also sure to update me when Moose was out of surgery. The doctors the following day were also very kind and considerate.

Super nice and compassionate front office staff and techs. DVM were nice and straight forward about diagnosis as to what we were there for. Euthanasia is also cheaper than my own personal vet and the hospital is in a bigger town than my local vet. The hospital did a great job and didn't do anymore testing than they needed to.

It was hard finding a place that would see ferrets. Even Michigan state animal hospital said no. This place was the closest to us who finally said yes for seeing ferrets. They respond well and are very open and honest with prognosis. Even the we lost our sweet baby Carbon, they helped the process and were caring for our baby. ❤️ RIP sweet angel💔

Recently had to have my cat seen. I really liked that I could check in and wait at home, and they took into account that I was traveling an hour. They texted me and communicated with me on when we should head that way. She was seen right when we came in, and I could see the screen update for tasks of her care. It made the anxious wait a little better. The staff was kind, efficient, and answered my hundreds of questions. When I called in the middle of the night for follow up, the staff walked me through care and helped me determine it was safe to stay home until my normal vet could see her in the morning vs when we needed to come back immediately. I know they care about my cat just as much as I do. It was a scary day, but I returned home confident in what I need to look out for, and confident I knew what was going on.

Both times I was there with my girl were in the evening/overnight, and Dr. Osborne was lovely with Kahu. The front desk staff did a great job of being not only helpful, but also reassuring and upbeat in a time where us animal owners can be pretty stressed. I was told about how perfect my cat was and that she had a fan club! Dr. Osborne was also reassuring and worked with me on finding the best course of treatment while mitigating price. To visit, you pay fees of 75 for the initial exam and 95 to come in for the emergency, but if you need to return working 48 hours, those are waived, which is great. Everyone was so lovely with my girl and answering my questions over the phone and Kahu is finally feeling much better! Definitely recommend here if you’re in an emergency or can’t find an appointment anywhere and are worried. They’ll be clear about how urgent it is and help minimize costs if you ask. Here’s a pic of my girl high off the meds!!

Fantastic people! Very clean facility. My dog started having seizures and they got her right in, ran labs, and discovered she has epilepsy. The veterinarians are great! Would definitely recommend!!Thank you for helping my Sadie girl!

We brought our cat in at 10:30pm EST. The staff was ready and took him back as soon as we arrived. The office is clean and efficient. Their busy time is 6pm- midnight but it was not too crowded and our case was handled well. You do have to complete an extensive online form before arriving. It’s not cheap but in my opinion they were worth it. The Doctor’s guidance was good and they didn’t push unnecessary tests on us. X-ray process was quick and they reviewed the results with us. They are not affiliated with our personal vet.

Brought Bo in at 6:30am almost unresponsive. Staff took him in immediately and quickly diagnosed the condition and treatment. Unfortunately, Bo may have indulged in some adult human treats.36 hours later we were able to bring him home with a successful treatment plan. Bo is back on the mend and ready to live his best life! The staff was caring and treated Bo like their own dog. The text message updates are amazing and help provide some reassurance if your dog must stay. 10 of 10 performance!

I brought in my 5 yr old Great Dane, Gunny, to the Byron Center branch with signs of bloat. They took him immediately to the back and began diagnosing him before I had even registered. Within 30 minutes, they had taken x-rays, given him pain meds, and were discussing my options with me. They helped me figure out my options for financing and once I was approved, I signed all the paperwork for Gunny to have surgery. All this in less than 90 minutes. They saved my best friends life and took such amazing care of him. Their continuous updates kept me from being anxious. The post-op instructions were thorough and they answered any and every question I had. In less than 24 hours, my baby, was able to come home and is sleeping comfortably. This momma is going to sleep well tonight knowing that Gunny had the most amazing care by the best doctors and assistants he could have had.Thank you to everyone who helped with Gunny. You are all amazing and I'm so grateful to each and everyone of you.

My dog became ill while I was out of the country. Dr. Brink contacted me and explained everything. She also offered the opportunity for me to see my dog by video. I felt that my dog was in the best of hands. That helped a lot. Even though my dog did not make it, I know that they did everything They could save him.
