We stopped in and bought a few cool shirts and small items and the owner was super nice and helpful. She recommended a cool Diner to go eat at and fun places to go see in the city. Here is a photo of the spot where we ate with our puppy dog.I saw a North Country Trail shirt that I really liked and didn't buy it when I was there. I looked everywhere else for it in the UP and could never find it. I got back to Florida and called the store and spoke to the owner. She shipped it out to me very quickly and even sent me a cool Michigan sticker and an Air-b-n-b coupon. I was very grateful and the shirt is absolutely awesome. Thank you!

Found this store a few months ago on Facebook when looking for information about the town for a winter weekend get away. Was excited to actually go there from reading the face book posts. Was not disappointed at all! The owner is so friendly! Great quality products and something for everyone to enjoy from agate art, shirts, stickers, camp supplies and ice cleats!. They rent snow shoes too! If you are in the mood for an impromptu polar dip she had swim suites in the back!

We were up in the area August 21st weekend and we stopped over at Grand Marais (What a charming little town) and went inside and checked out the store. It was full of charm snd great selections.The owner was extremely helpful. My purchase was a good value and I am so glad we stopped in.

I just wanted to drop a msg off and say thank you and brag a little about your store. I was up there last weekend and a friend said I needed to make sure I made it into your store before I left. I ended up purchasing a cute hat for my grand daughter and a helmet and goggles for myself.I loved your store and your customer service was amazing. I recommended your store to a friend that was visiting the area this week and I just heard from him and he mention he came in and he had just as good of an experience as I did. While this shop has cool stuff in it, don't bother going in. Owner is RUDE and not helpful, I wouldn't give her a cent. Typical snooty, overpriced small town shop, if you don't appear to have money, she won't give you the time of day. They don't carry children's apparel - the hardware store a couple doors down has very similar items with friendly people and affordable prices.

The owner is a very nice lady she has a lot of very nice up stuff she has some very nice clothing some camping gear she also has coffee and she's just real nice and she knows the area and she'll talk to you well and there is a very good little restaurant or food trailer in back run by two nice little nice young young people and they're doing it this summer I'm guessing to make a little bit of money and the food is very good and very nice people worth the drive

Very Cool Sporting Goods Store! Fishing to Hunting to Backpacking & Hiking. We arrived there like 2 minutes before closing and the Owner was nice enough to stay open so we could look around & get some gear & Souvenirs. I believe The Owner is a Veteran

Lovely up North town or could be ,only problem is there's way to many unrespondable young 4 wheelers drinking and flying around town , I've yet to see any law enforcement have anyone pulled over or even exist in this town , almost lost my new Indian motorcycle there , one inch closer and it would of been hit a long with buddies New Harley . This town needs a new Barney Phife to take charge,

Went there a few years back and got some Croakies for my sunglasses with the Grand Marais Outfitters name imprinted on them. After being in in the desert, snow, rain, sun and lost in Lake Michigan for a day. They are still in perfect shape.
