First time visit, and I will definitely be back! I ordered a karate latte, and it was perfection. I wasn’t planning to order breakfast, but I opted for the meat breakfast panini and it was awesome. The breakfast potatoes were delish! The price was reasonable, especially considering the portion! I ended up splitting with my husband because a half was plenty. The vibe and overall charm of the shop was very warm and inviting. The lady working was sweet and welcoming. Awesome place!

Very cute place. Friendly staff. Good food. It was $24 for 2 breakfast burritos (we got the omnivore and meat burritos), and a very large and delicious coffee. A lot of options for my restricted diet, and staff was very happy to accommodate.Dietary restrictions: LOTS of options for dietary restrictions, and staff was very happy to accommodate

Hit up Toads in Grand Ledge for a business meeting and wow, what a spot! The vibe is just right – cozy and welcoming. Coffee? Fantastic. It's like they know exactly how to make your day better. And the staff? Couldn't be nicer, making you feel right at home.I dove into the breakfast bowl, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The sausage was perfectly seasoned with just the right kick of spice. Whether you're here to work or just chill, Toads nails it. Definitely my go-to for a great atmosphere and killer coffee.

The coffee, food, and atmosphere at Toads are filled with tons of thoughtful details to create a unique coffee shop in our little town that could go toe to toe with any indie coffee shop in the country.Iced coffee isn't just an afterthought here - they use coffee cubes so it's nice and strong from start to finish. We also got the Karate Latte and Mocha Mocha, which were both delicious. They have a wide variety of syrups and sizes available, in addition to their specialties, to make just about anything you could want! The omnivore breakfast sandwich was an absolute treat! It came on pillowy, grilled pita-like bread and was large enough that my husband and I could split it. The combination of sausage, peppers, and feta was super tasty and the home fries were well seasoned and crispy. They also have lots of fun options for kids, juice, milk, and fresh fruit, too.The back end of the shop has t-shirts, quirky gifts, and a wide selection of frisbees, climbing, and outdoor gear. If you're looking to add to your collection, forgot something at home, or had something break to ruin your trip, this place could save you! There are games and coloring pages enough to keep everyone occupied while you enjoy your food and drinks. They have plenty of table top seating and comfortable couches. The music selection was also delightful and not at all pretentious. It was reasonably priced so we fed the whole family breakfast and got specialty drinks for around $35. Just great, mellow, family friendly vibes all around. If you're visiting Grand Ledge for the parks, add this to your trip and you will not be disappointed. If you're a local, make sure to stop in frequently enough that this gem stays a staple in our community for many years to come!

The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming, I really like the more sustainable options they have for mugs and dishes. The menu is bright and well written and easy to read, they also happened to have decaf and at least 3 sugar free options for me to choose from, as a diabetic that loves coffee I was very excited. They had games and chalk available to use while waiting, and an entire outdoor store collection to peruse (we didn't get a chance this time to stop and check it all out). I got their pesto panini and added chicken, it came with some good homemade style potato chips, and the chicken noodle soup I ordered on the side was just the right amount of salty and earthy. The workers were very nice and friendly, we will absolutely come back again soon.

I had “the meats” panini and it was probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Had the mocha mocha hot drink and it was great. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the customer service is awesome.

Toads is one of the coolest places in Grand Ledge! They have excellent coffee, cookies, and muffins! Also, the "Haman Cheese" panini is amazing! The atmosphere is very inviting and fun. I absolutely love their toad mascot and the neat lil gift shop inside. They even sell equipment for many popular activities here in Grand Ledge like rock climbing and disc golf. Toads is a must-visit if you are in Grand Ledge. 10/10

Popped in on a Saturday for the first time looking for a lunch spot with my mom, we both got lattes (they were fantastic), we both ordered paninis (came out very hot and fresh), got her a cute sticker and I grabbed one of the massive chocolate chip cookies. Now, when I tell you I’ve had a lot of cookies in my life, I’m not lying. If you need my qualifications on why you should listen to me about chocolate chip cookies: I’m a baker, I went to culinary school, I’ve worked in a few bakeries and I have had many chocolate chip cookies that were nothing special. When I tell you that this chocolate chip cookie had me thinking about it all day long, it was absolutely the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had in a very long time. The cookie is huge and I ate half of it while waiting for my panini and then slowly ate the other half over the span of the weekend. It was fantastic down to the last bite: salty, crunchy edges, soft middle, and the perfect amount of chocolate chunks. If you’re looking for a reason to go to Toads simply let it be for the cookie.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Toads and it was amazing! Cozy atmosphere and the staff was so welcoming. The owner has done a great job of turning this into a cozy spot for great tasting coffee and food. Would recommend checking it out and supporting this great shop downtown.

This is such a cool place! The decor is so unique and it is a great place to hang out to eat/drink. My girlfriend loved the drink she got, and the food was also pretty good! But honestly the best part of this place are the employees. They are such genuine, kind people that it makes going there well worth it. The girl who served us was super nice, and everything came out quick and fresh!

My all time favorite coffee shop. Love the staff, the drinks, the food, and vibes. It's a unique place that's worth visiting! My only issue is that the iced coffee isn't really cold. I think it's because they use coffee ice cubes and don't use a whole lot of them so it doesn't water down the coffee. But the downside is my iced coffee is usually lukewarm... It still tastes great and I still almost always order it!I also like this place cause they have dairy free options and some of the syrups they use are dairy free.Kid-friendliness: My son loves the dino grilled cheese and he's quite the picky eater.

Went on a breakfast date with my two year old this morning and had the BEST time!!! Had the omnivore breakfast burrito, and an iced Karate latte, my daughter got the huge blueberry muffin and an iced hot chocolate! Everything was GREAT and the vibes were immaculate. Couches in the back with a jack in the box, coloring things, a chalk board kept my toddler busy while we waited for our food. Great experience and we will be back!

Food was good but a little pricey, a bit greasy but it's cheese and meat in flat bread so not unexpected. Tons of milkshake flavors which were all good. Lots of latte and coffee drinks. Various types of seating from couches to stools facing the big window in front of the street. Worth a visit if you're nearby. Lots of parking in the back.Parking: Parking on the street out front when not busy, parking lot behind the strip with multiple rows of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Kids are fine but if it were busy it may be a bit tight for younger kids.

To echo another reviewer, Toads is thee place to stop when you’re in Grand Ledge. From the cute sign ( a friendly toad), to the cozy sportsy decor, the vast and creative drinks and food menu, and the fun little gift shop area, Toads is an experience and I’m so glad I discovered it. My latte was delicious, I had an apple themed drink with oat milk, the coffee itself tasted rich and the flavors were just enough to compliment it nicely and give me the taste of autumn I’d been hoping for. I learned their ice cubes are also not made of water, but of coffee! This keeps the coffee from getting watered down, genius.Definitely check out Toads if you’re in Grabd Ledge. Great places to sit and enjoy time with friends, or just a cup or meal to yourself.

We are GL locals and have been to Toads quite a few times now. We do love the lattes, the atmosphere is GREAT, and the food is pretty good too, especially with the newer menu options that have been added since they first opened. The service can be hit or miss... Sometimes they are right on it and other times, even when they aren't that busy, there can still be more than expected of a wait for food or even just lattes. All in all, we still frequent Toads because the staff, food and coffee's make it worth it!Parking: If you go during the weekday the street parking is usually open. On weekends, it can fill up quickly but there is a lot up the street to park in.

First time we went there to get a latte. The bottom of the cheap cup they use literally burned through, spilling coffee all over. Also, because the cup is so cheaply made, the lid doesn’t stay on, so you have to carry it with extra care.

Found this place randomly while looking for new coffee shops to explore and I’m so glad I came across it. I brought my sis cuz she loves all things frogs/and toads and this lil cafe did not disappoint. It’s so cute and cozy and warm and feels like a place you’d stop in at while yr on a vacation in the mountains somewhere. Also it’s giving Over the Garden Wall and I love it❤️ food, coffee, and staff were awesome. We will definitely be back❤️
