Amazing grooming and as the owner of poodles for 20 years I have been through a number of groomers. The dogs come home smelling fresh but not perfume-y, the scissor work is fantastic and I am a picky owner who likes my poodles scissored and a little longer body clip. I have a large Standard and a miniature poodle puppy; both come home happy and always happy to go. I have been nothing but impressed.

Took 9yr old, arthritic Davis for a nail trim. He isn't a good sport about having his feet touched so nail trims are scary. They treated him wonderful. Because he is a rescue with a past I am careful to avoid any more stress or trauma to him. We had an appointment, it only took a few minutes and he was fine and happy to have little toes again. Definitely Grand Ledge Pet Grooming will be our place. Regular, kind, caring people who know how to gently do what they do, even if he didn't like it. I highly recommend Grand Ledge Pet Grooming. Carl & the entire staff were terrific! As you can see we have a whole new dog. She is from the CAHS, so we were uncertain of her breed but had several guesses. Carl was able to confirm her breed for us based on his extensive knowledge of dogs. I left better prepared to care for her and she left beautiful, soft & with a pep in her step.

I drive over half an hour to take my sweet pup here. The staff here are ALWAYS so kind, helpful, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. I love knowing I'm taking my dog to a place that loves her as much as I do. Plus, I can tell my dog loves the staff as well, she is always excited to see them! I could not recommend them enough!!

I set an appointment for my dog to be groomed on Nov 9th, two weeks out from the day I called. When Nov 9th came around, I received a call less than two hours before the appointment that they had to cancel my appointment. They scheduled another appointment for two weeks from that date because they had no openings, they said they would put me on the top of the cancellation list, no one must have cancelled in those two weeks because I never received a call.When I first called it took more than a day for them to return my call. I’m just a bit frustrated, I feel like the situation could have been handled better on their end.

Have been going here for years and recently switched thank goodness. Have had multiple problems with the new employees bringing my dog out covered in baby powder and hardly looking clean. There are no courtesy calls before appointments which has made it difficult since there new scheduler Emily does not know how to do her job. I have waited on there employee to arrive multiple times just to drop my animal off. I use to love this place but I’m very disappointed with the new employee and the lack of that Carl is involved.

The staff is very knowledgeable & caring & have always done a wonderful job with grooming, however, I am becoming very concerned that the side hustle of propagating plants is taking over the business making it extremely difficult for the staff to maintain a safe & sanitary environment for our beloved pets.

I'm in love! These guys are going to be my new groomers forever. I was so impressed. I have an older dog with a serious skin condition that I was not happy with how it was going. I went to these folks and got wonderful attention. They had researched her condition beforehand, had some suggestions on what to do to provide relief for the dog and then were so gentle and caring with her. They gave every consideration to her age and worked quickly and gently to get her clean and comfortable. Their prices are very reasonable and they were so good with my old dog.I highly recommend them and suggest you give them a try if you have a dog that needs grooming.

This place is excellent. We appreciate the care & quality grooming our wiggly, crazy Border Collies receive at Grand Ledge Pet Grooming. The pups are sensitive to noise & are a bit scared or equipment like hair dryers. The staff is so great with them they are getting less fearful each time. Our dogs always look & smell wonderful.

Went to Grand ledge pet grooming with my dog to get his nails trimmed. My veterinarian was going to charge me $75 they only charged me $5 and my dog which is usually a hassle when they try to clip his nails was very calm these people were very good with my dog very friendly and knowledgeable also clean my dog's ears for free as well. I highly recommend this place and willl definitely be back

I have 2 dogs, both 13 years old who have some pretty severe anxiety. Let me first state we have been taking them to the same groomer for 11 years, and we love her. We ran into a pinch this month, and had to go to Grand Ledge Pet Grooming and they were more than accommodating in getting us in in this emergency. They are THE. BEST. Great with the animals, and its more like a spa than a groomer. We love our old groomer, but this is our new home. Thanks so much guys for the great service.

The owner and all staff are very nice and they do an excellent job with my furbaby. The owner is very very knowledgeable about all breeds and has given me advice on how to care for a condition my dog has and that advice was so much better than the vet gave. Highly recommended

I will NEVER take my dog there again!!!! We asked for our dog to be cut short....they shaved him. He now has patches of his hair that won't grow back. He used to have thick, beautiful fur. It's now very thin and splotchy. We don't know if his hair will ever grow back correctly. We are absolutely heartbroken 💔

My dog ended up getting a bad cut on his ear. Had to take him to get stitches. When asked what happened they said they didn't know it must have happened before he got here ya right. They just didn't want to pay the vet bill Wich they did not,and will not. Very horrible experience beware of going here. Place is a joke
