It has taken me a long time to find not only a good vet, but one I can agree with. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in not only the making of the appointment, but tremendously friendly through the entire checkup! Dr Jonathan Cahalan has been the first and only vet that I have found (even when working in the field myself) that respects my decision on waiting until my pups turn two to spay and neuter. Which I find incredibly relieving. I can not recommend this clinic enough!Pics of my fur babies for tax!

Thank you so much for getting Ozzy an emergency appointment on short notice. Thank you for caring about his needs and being so understanding. I'm so happy he is going to be ok. We will definitely be back with him and my other dog and cat. Glad we found a good vet to care for my furry kids.

I am beyond impressed with Haven Animal Hospital. I recently moved to Michigan. I called panicked because my 14 year old dog wasn't acting right. From the initial phone call to my visit the very next day, the concern for my dog was beyond heart warming and visible from everyone. It immediately made me feel comfortable. They diagnosed her, treated her and gave us everything we needed to bring her home and it never felt rushed or worked in like some. I have found our new forever vet.

We’ve been to several vets and have had issues with professionalism and common sense, after coming to Haven Animal Hospital twice in the past 4 weeks, we are extremely happy and we feel very comfortable. It’s worth paying the higher premiums as they have licensed technicians and multiple vets on staff that have a lot of experience.

I live in Greenville now and bring my cat all the way to Grand Haven because I just love the staff! They handle Shadow with an affectionate hand and easily. He isnt scared when he goes there, and that is all that matters!

We are very happy with Haven Animal Hospital. The staff does a great job with our dog and makes her feel comfortable and safe. She gets a little nervous going in but they do everything they can to make it as relaxing as possible for her. Each time we go in she gets better about it. We took our dog before this one to HAH as well. She had a severe heart problem. They did great with her and added quality years to her life, which we really appreciated.

One star would be generous, pretty disappointed in our last visit. Scheduling was a nightmare. Called to make an appointment and confirmed a time for later that afternoon. An hour before our appointment I received a voicemail that they could no longer see my dog because they needed to schedule a checkup along with the allergy shot my dog needed. Surprise, they had no appointments that day for a checkups :/ (why schedule me in the first place? especially while trying to juggle all this through my workday)Now onto the (as usual) friendly tech and vet visit. I specifically came in for a “my dog is having issues with her ears, tush, paws and scratching”. She typically does a few shots a year, not that this is a new issue. After telling the tech all this information, she writes it all down and next comes in the vet. “So what are we doing today?”🤦🏼‍♂️🤡. Came home and was going to give the shot an evening or another day to see results (appointment was on Monday) Called back Wednesday morning because my dog still was having issues. I was told that I needed to pay for another appointment and tech fees etc etc. After voicing my displeasure of paying more money and another visit (literally just got $400 from me two days previously) I was told they would leave me ear cleaner I could use. So not only are you not addressing the problem or willingness to take the proper time and effort, but you are grabbing for more money and lackluster customer/animal service. Vets and or staff change maybe ?

Haven Animal Hospital is Amazing! All the staff are super friendly and care about my pups. They call my babies by their names and truly show love towards them. One of my pups has special needs, and the Dr took time to review him to assure he is on the right track. The Dr called the next day as a follow up. That was amazing! I got to address my other questions I forgot about. Spectacular Service for almost 6 years now. This is the only place my pups will ever go! We moved 40 min away, and we still come here because the staff and care for my pups!! Thank you for your Wonderful care for my pups!! 🐶🐾🐾🐶

Not even sure where to begin, I brought our Maya in and she was very very sick. The Drs and the tech's to the front staff were amazing to her and us.Dr. Cahalan, Jocey, Erick, Caleb, Morgan, Makayla, Riley, Amya - Thank you so much for the heartfelt card, in the short time you spent with us you know our hearts and how special Maya is and was to our us. You made this experience for us with grace, humility and love and we are forever grateful. May God lead you to others that need your soft, supportive touch and understanding. You truly have a gift.

Received a text message from them letting me know that my dog needed a scheduled service. When I called to find out what he needed I was inform that he needed a vaccine so that he could still get his month heart/worm pills. When the technician came in to the room, she said that my dog was there for his wellness check. I proceeded to tell her that I’m only here to get whatever vaccine he needs. Nothing was ever said about a wellness check. ( that would have no doubt cost me more money.) but nothing was ever said about more services than what I was there for. I proceeded to tell the tech that all I’m here for is the vaccine. I had to repeatedly ask why I was there to get a vaccine that only needs to be done once a year and was just done in August of last year. Finally the tech says “I will go get the vet to answer my questions.When the vet entered the room with another person she explained to me what the tech could not. I also told the vet we are not here for a wellness check just his vaccination. By the way when you miss lead someone with an ad that turns out to be more than what you are actually their for, what you pacifically are there for and then tell the consumer that theirs more services that they want to do……….thats called a “bait and switch” and thats a crime in this state.When the vet was done explaining things she then proceeded to tell me that the tech that was in the room told the vet that I said to “ go get someone smarter than you “ I was completely appalled by what she just accused me of. That was never said ever. And now that I know what type of employees they have “flat out lied” about what was said. We are not only done with this cheat, but will also let others know what type of establishment they operate.Also in the past we have had nothing but Scheduling problems, to the point that the main vet had to call scheduling and apologize.

This might be the best animal hospital ever. I took my kitty in when she was very sick, I was clear I was not ready to put her to sleep. They gave her a dose of pain killers. Recommend I hospitalize her, I declined and they showed me how to take care of her at home. She passed away about an hour after we got her home, but she wasn’t in pain and her sisters were able to say goodbye. I took her back to them for to creamate her. They made it very easy and my husband picked her up today, she’s in a beautiful wood box and a copy of her paw prints. What really stood out I got a card that everyone at the practice wrote a sweet little paragraph saying sweet things. It brought me to tears and I’m so grateful to the staff for making this horrible time a little easier. Thank you Haven! You’re amazing people 😽

The place took care of my daughter's rabbit very well. It was initially determined by my daughter that she would need a flush on the rabbits eyes and it was later determined by the animal doctor that it would need just penicillin shots. The office was honest regarding what happened and could have charged us more and gotten away with it but they were honest and we appreciate it.

This was honestly a great experience. You first walk in and are welcomed by a little sign that says your pets name on it. All of the workers there were extremely friendly and kind and super informative of what was happening. The checkout process was great and easy. Additionally, the pricing was not too bad. I remember at a previous clinic in my home state was $100 for just one rabies shot. This place gave my cat two different vaccines for only $120 plus gave my cats lots of free treats and provided great comfort. They also check in the day after to see how your pet is doing. I had a great experience!

Our first visit with the new puppy. Everyone from the receptionist, vet technician and the Dr were awesome. They were all super helpful and answered all our questions in ways that were easily understood. Would definitely recommend checking Haven Animal Hospital out.

Brought my 16 yr old Westie in due to his diarrhea and poor appetite. He's overall quite spry but I'm a realist. He isn't quite ready for The Rainbow Bridge. Anyway, they gave him some hydrating fluids and antibiotic. He eating and no more diarrhea. . He's back to his old self

I had an emergency with my dog, and they were able to get me in right away due to a cancellation. Staff was amazing, very kind and informative on what was going on with my dog. I’d definitely recommend them!

They take SUCH amazing care of Parker, who is quite grumpy!! We are working on making him feel more comfortable with his veterinary care, and they are pretty fabulous!! They work within this threshold to make sure he gets the care he needs but also is comfortable with the process. Highly recommend!!
