First time in the store, I came in search of a gift. Tammy was super helpful, showing me around the shop and pointing out so many perfect gift ideas! She was very patient as I debated over my choices, and gift-wrapped my purchases nicely at no additional charge!Whether you are in search of a gift for a gardener or bird lover, or you need to replenish your supply of bird feed, or you need supplies to make your own artistic creations, they have a great selection of items in all price ranges.Highly recommend!

Quality store and merchandise. Very friendly and helpful with questions.They have a wonderful inventory of food items and feeders as well as some yard decorations. Highly recommend if you love feeding and watching the birds. Just look around up there merchandise many good gift ideas here too.

Great little shop in the community. It is warm and welcoming, the people and service are top-notch. They carry products that you will not find anywhere else, many US made and from independent artisans. In addition to everything you need for birding and a wide variety of gifts, they are an excellent birding and gardening resource.

I have been dealing with this store over 12 years and LOVED everything about it. I was sick when Louis sold the store so I was unaware of it. This year I went in and purchased 6 mantis eggs excited once again to watch our eggs hatch and teach a whole new generation. I had one egg hatch!!! I know how to winter them and have NEVER not had a mantis egg hatch. I wet them when it rains and even during a long dry spell. I called the store and she went threw everything I just told you and she kept telling me she was sorry. NEVER has that happened. I have had baby caterpillars die when they were very young and I would call Louise and she would have me bring it in and would give me another or something else if she was out, unless I wanted to wait for the same kind. I did cut the mantis eggs open as she suggested the bugs were all little black seed like pieces. I sure do miss the knowledge and the way Louise did business. The owner did say Louise would bring her bugs in from her house. Please Louise if you are out there reading this contact me if you still have bugs for us!!! Even just our conversations were wonderful and so full of knowledge. We love you Louise.

Truly a special store. Excellent selection of Michigan Made Products, unique home decor, gift shop items and of course every thing you would want for the birds. The owner is on site and you can tell she loves what she does. There are many small local business treasures in Grand Blanc for visitors to uncover, this is one of them!
