I saw the dollar general on the corner of Fenton and atherton rd and I needed some laundry soap so I stopped in. It was so messy. It looked like bomb went off and this was about 10:30 in the morning. The cashier was nice and the price was really good. I wasn’t expecting it to be that low. Other than very messy, it’s still a good buy. I would go back again.

Good prices and nice variety. But, every dollar general I go into, is always a mess. Never clean carts full of merchandise in the isles never put away. Feels small and compact. Understaffed. Hire more people and clean up the stores. It's very ghetto. Get that merchandise on those shelf's.

I live just around the corner on Grand Blanc Rd and have been a regular customer, but no more. I have been in there 3 times in the past week and they were out of what I needed. I'm tired of product sitting in the aisles or in carts, but not on the shelves! The store is a mess! Whoever the Manager is, he/she needs to use the staff in a better way...get product on the shelves! I spent over 10 years managing convenience stores, as well as owning a small business, so I know what I'm talking about! I'm only 1 customer, but you've lost me!

I went in to this dollar general on Wednesday, August 12th 2020. Both employees were extremely rude and did not speak to anyone, not even to customers. They just were having there own conversation even with dealing with anyone. And worst of all they didn’t have masks on. Not even around there necks like they were going to put them on. Used to always come here because it was so convenient but I think I’ll drive the extra couple miles to not have to deal with such awful employees. Also it was such a mess. I couldn’t believe how bad. Not just boxes but it was extremely dirty. I would think with covid 19 they would try to step it up a little bit.

Update.... I had an issue with a coupon and the employee wasn't very helpful or nice. I called the next day and talked to the NEW store manager. I was very pleased by the way she took care of the situation. When I came back into the store she was very nice and apologized for the issue. So I changed my review to 5 stars. Glad to see they FINALLY got a manager that cares about the customers and is friendly to the staff:)I was at the store on 9/28/19 around 9:20 am and the key holder ( I would give her name but she didn't have a name tag on nor would she tell me her name) working at the time was VERY RUDE!! It's not the first time she's been rude nor is it just to me. She knew she was the only one there to check people out and she did not care how long a person stood there waiting. I went to where she was at to ask if she would cash me out and I got attitude and was told she would be right there. Well when she did come to check out there was NO hi, how are you, did you find everything ok? Instead she came with a bad attitude and just threw my stuff in a bag. Then was a total b!tch when I gave her A coupon. She stated it was already used. I then asked for her district manager name and number because EVERYTIME I go to that location there's problems with coupons but any other locations there's not. Well I was told she can't give out his information. So.... that's why I am posting on here instead of going to the district manager. Someone needs to secret shop this girl and check her attitude!!

Great value for my visit. I recommend this location in Grand Blanc. It seems small on the outside but had everything I possibly needed, and walked out with more supplies than anticipated.Very clean, and attentive cashier and checkout area.

Its ok if the right people are working and its more than one person stocking and running the register. I have left several times after waiting at the counter and saying I need help and they say coming and they never do and Ive left before. The last few visits have been pleasant

The employee's there need to take a class of customer service. Was never greeted with a hello, hi, nothing. I will visit another store from now on.. that's to bad to, very convenient.. but I would rather drive a little farther and b greeted with a smile and someone who cares.

Don't ever use this place to ship fed ex. I dropped off a overnight envelope on a Monday and it was still sitting there on friday. I had to take to a real fed ex cause these people are clueless. As for the store I have never shopped at a dollar store before but this place is a dump.

Huge selection of everything you need for your new house. You can grocery shop here. They have a lot to choose from in their seasonal and dollar aisles. There is always clearance and sales. Clothes, furniture, fresh and frozen food available. Shoes, diapers, health and beauty supplies as well as pots, pans and trash cans. They have all you need to start a new house with dish strainers, coffee makers, toasters and crock pots. Pet food, outdoor decorations and tons of toys. There are tools, medicine and stationary at all locations.

The employee was very nice but this store is understaffed. Only one employee working there and it took 45 minutes to get 11 small helium balloons filled. I would not recommend getting balloons for an event here.

It is old and out dated. None of the aisles are like the newer stores and you can't find anything. Reminds me more of a flea market and you just dig to find things. Register area totally congested with too much merchandise and is not kept up and cleaned like most all others I've been in.

Grand Blanc and Fenton Rd. Location is my favorite. Enthusiastic staff, and friendly, too. Great selection, clean, and organized. Beats a trip to the big box stores anyday!

Didn't have sale items in shelf, wouldn't accept digital coupons, not enough help and the cashier was rude!!! I won't go back to any Flint stores. It will be Family Dollar from now on

The store name implies it is a dollar store yet most things cost more than if you go to a big box store! The clerk was angry with customers who were waiting in the parking lot before the store opened and she told me all about it!

Bought what I needed..but my b/f wanted to buy a pre-paid phone on the back locked wall and they dont have a key to unlock the case so there advertising items but cant sell it to you..at gr.blanc and Fenton rd

Some of my digital coupons didn't register for savings. So I'm returning those items that didn't register with the coupons. The manager was getting impatient and had a attitude. So I left abruptly.
