Why its my fav donut/coffee shop?!Cause they are always so nice, they always have brewed good coffee and decaf!, they have a delicious assortment of donuts and treats, they have tables to enjoy and have a good “coffee moment”, prices are unbeatable!My fav donut is the Maple one and the chocolate brioche style and get a regular coffee is perfect, is balanced!They are old fashioned type bakery and everything here is simply delicious.I love this happy place full of people (staff) that say Hello to you and treat you well.( i owe you the donut pics they are too good once u give a bite… well u know what happens 🤭 but check on the video!)Parking: Free of space to park here.

To Whom It May Concern:I was in your donut shop at about 2pm on 3/29/2024. There were a few gentlemen at some back tables talking and one woman that entered before me. The young lady that was waiting was not personable, with no smile or a thank you for coming. While I was waiting to place my order, another gentleman came in behind me and a young family after him. Upon seeing the gentleman and young family, your cashier said “what the F” under her breath but loud enough to be heard. Clearly she was upset at the amount of customers that she would have to take care of. After the lady in front of me left and it was my turn, I started making my selections. The young lady was sighing and making sounds of exasperation with every choice. Another customer entered at this time and she muttered a few other angry phrases, clearly upset at the amount of work she had to do. There was never a greeting or smile for anyone, just a very obvious attitude at the work to be done.I love your donuts and your small shop. I usually love everyone that waits on you there, because they are happy you are there and happy to help you. I work in customer service, so I am aware of how trying people can be at times, but everyone in that shop was patient and waiting their turns except for your employee. She was visibly upset that she had customers and made no attempt to be pleasant. If you grew with Dawn Donuts vs Tim Hortons or Dunkin...you know the difference! I think these donuts are the best. I actually don't eat gluten but when I splurge....its here. Plus I love taking my dogs here for a plain donut as a treat once a week. They love it!! 🍩

Oh my goodness!! I found A&K Dawn Donuts completely by accident and I couldn't be happier. The donuts were soft, wonderful and beyond delicious! I haven't had a Dawn Donut in nearly 40 years when the location in my hometown closed. SO glad I stopped. Do yourself a favor and get the best donuts around at A&K Dawn Donut.

So good and the coffee is amazing a real treat. We went here as we were in area and we hardly are. It was such a treat and workers are extremely nice. Donuts are insane they are always perfect and above expectations.

This is definitely not the same Dawn Donuts as it once was. The New Owners have changed the Donut ingredients and the size of the Donuts themselves and the $ is much higher. A Dozen Donuts are $20.They are much smaller and not even close to as good as the old Owners were making them. I won't be coming back to this location.Very Very disappointed.

Nice, fresh, "homemade" donuts were good, wait was short, service was pleasant and attentive, she happily answered all of my many questions about the types of donuts and differences. Lots of different options. Nothing was exceptionally extraordinary, grabbed a couple dozen to bring to work and everyone commented on them being really good. Prices are a little stiff compared to Timmy Hoho's or The Wal-Mart's, but I was happy to pay a little more for a much better donut. They sell individual breakfast beverages, coffee, juice, etc. comparable to a gas stations offerings. They sell yesterday's donuts at a discount, and they sell bagels, not made in house, but still looked "fresh". I'm sure that I will frequent Dawn Donuts when I want to grab a box to take to work or something, but I won't wake up craving them. 4/5.

Donuts are fresh and delicious! The bowtie glazed donut is large and filling. Nice staff and clean venue. It felt sort of nostalgic inside of the venue.

First time. Got 2 peanut butter frosted cinnamon rolls for birthday dessert. Blonde young lady who waited on me very nice and friendly. But so disappointed both were not peanut butter but maple tasting frosting and I hate maple. Scrapped off frosting and ate cinnamon rolls which were good but really wanted peanut butter!!! Heavy peanut butter tasting my favorite!!!

Would have been 5 stars but the new owners changed something! Been coming here for 30 years and they have always been spot on. I know their tractor tires and these aren't it! Change whatever you changed back! The oil, the mixes, the glaze, something! My sister said they weren't the same about 4-6 months ago and I didn't believe her but she's right. Drove 21 miles and super bummed. Change whatever you changed back to the original please.

Nice employees and always a great selection but the past few months I’ve noticed their Bismarcks have hardly ANY filling in them and the frosting on the top doesn’t even cover the whole donut half the time. I don’t just want a big dough ball, I’d like a decent amount of filling and a lot of frosting. Might have to take my business to Donna’s if Dawns can’t get it together.

The owners are great people and this small business is a hidden gem. I appreciated the atmosphere after a long day work and needed to decompress.

I’m going to have to kinda agree with above statement. I went in there last week to get donuts and walked back out. It really had a funky smell. Definitely didn’t smell like donuts. So I guess we will never try the donuts there. I can’t get past the smell Please do not call me racist for just being honest. ESP since I have a biracial family. I am 100 % not racist. No need to use the “race card” It does NOT work with me.

Donuts a very small & "filled donuts" lack filling! There was mote frosting ON TOP of avanilla stick than inside. Extremely disappointed in the quality especially for the prices! Can get better at kroger. Definitely no need to go back

Carl (the donut chef) has been making the donuts here for decades, fresh every day! Nothing like dunkin is these days. Actually Dunkin should start buying their donuts from A&K Dawn Donuts 🤔.

I’ve have always loved Dawns Donuts on my way to school in the morning. When it was bought by another family, I was skeptical because often things changes. To my delight and surprise, nothing changed and things have only gotten better. I love the extra variety of donuts being offered and new drink options as well. A and K also took part in a local elementary schools creative writing assignment and allows three kids to create their own donut which they sold in store!I always go during the busiest time of day and employees are kind, courteous, and quick with getting customers in and out!

I DONUT understand the negative comments about this donut shop. I have had nothing but a good experience while visiting here. I’m greeted by friendly faces no matter what time a day and the new owners are delightful. Very personable people and seem to be doing a good job taking over the business. The donuts tastes just as good as before which is why I’m confused to the other reviews. I understand that there are new employees to this establishment, so maybe they came at a bad time. I don’t know but definitely worth a visit if you are in town.
