Best food ever. Roast beef was delicious and the Donnie Burger made me drool as it was that good . Coconut Cream Pie was to die for. Great atmosphere for Tiger Games or Lions Games. Best food ever so fresh ,hot and tasty and If you have never been get your butt there.

Worth the drive. Very friendly. Yooperman (Don), Joanne, & Megan are an the best. Food is delish. We love coming here when we are in the U.P. Picture below is their chili cheese fries & Escanaba beer.... yummy!!

We stumbled across this true gem 💎 of a restaurant after the wooden boat show. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. The yooper burger 🍔 was awesome. The history and pictures on the wall told a wonderful story. Our server took the time to tell us about the history of the bar and the Lions. Definitely recommend and will come back when visiting.

Incredible burgers! My first time visiting this place, and I'll definitely be coming back. Worth the drive from Sault Sainte Marie!Parking: Plenty of parking available next to the restaurant, and parking may be available across the road as well.

I have eaten at Yooperman's several times and the food has always been good. The serving size is more than adequate. The soup & salad bar is small, but good. The soups and side salads are very good. The potato salad itself makes the meal worth it. A friendly place to eat.

Service was outstanding. Food was very good. I had the beefy mushroom soup (wow!) and the smothered chicken. My husband had the fried perch dinner with salad bar. We look forward to returning to the UP and heading back to the Yooperman!

I wish I thought to take pictures of the meals, anyways, while in the UP for a family vacation this restaurant was in walking distance of the lovely home we rented so we knew we had to try it, we walked in and were treated not as customers but as family. The food was delicious, and you get a very generous portion for the price you pay, the craft beers are phenomenal, and the staff is very warming and super friendly! I literally have nothing negative to hit on this location. We will without a doubt be back next time we make it up there. THANK you all!

It was better than average bar food and pretty solid beer selection. However, the staff made it a definite 5🌟 destination. I wish we could have had one more meal there, but we’ll be back.

Had the yooperman burger, swiss mushroom w/sauted onions, this was top knock. Hand formed patty, actually came cooked as request, not many places get this correct on their burgers. Handmade chips very good, onion rings excellent, service excellent. Great atmosphere.

Food is good. I have had Perch and Whitefish and they were both excellent. My only con is the they use trays instead of regular dishes and it can sometimes be a little difficult.

They have quite a selection, even for appetizers! My husband and I both loved our burgers! He said it was the best burger he’s ever had and my uncle loves this place also! Their appetizers are soooo good and so is there salad! Everything is SO good every time I go there!

Food was good. Waitress (blonde bob-didnt catch her name) was very unwelcoming. We had a group of 10 and they couldn't seat us together. Okay fine. Once we were seated she walked two tables away and said "what's with these big groups? I am over it." We were able to order some food and managed to get one drink. We got our food and the waitress never returned to see if the food was okay. We were never asked if we would like another drink. The waitress was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Unfortunately for us we were planning to stay and have a few drinks but would prefer to spend our money where we feel welcome.

We have been here a few times in the past and had a great experience. We came in today with 10 people and the waitress made it very clear that she did not want us there. So much so that she was complaning about large parties within ear shot of us before we were even seated. The bar was less than half full at the time. That's OK cedarville is full of bars.

Always enjoyable! If your looking for great food and great Friendly service, this is your spot. Homemade is the rule here! Favorites of mine...Philly cheesesteak, pizza burger and the coconut cream pie! Word of caution the lg nacho feeds 4 - No Joke!

We bought a gift card for a friend. When he tried to cash it in he was told it's was only good for 6 months. According to Michigan and Federal law all gift certificates and gift cards are good for 5 years. He tried to cash it within a year and was denied. We have heard of several others who have experienced this with Yoopermans. Don't spend your money here, they are guilty of fraud.

I moved to the area 3-4 months ago. I've been out to eat everywhere. There is some amazing food here in the UP but just when I thought it couldn't get any better, this place went and topped them all!!! I've been there 2x this week and I'm headed back in right now!

Every time we visit the UP we love to eat here. Love the food, atmosphere and the people sitting at the bar are a lot of fun. However, for the first time we had a snotty waitress. We were so surprised since all the others have been very kind and friendly. If you go please do your best not to sit in Megan's section. I feel she went out of her way to give us a lousy time. I asked if I could have lettuce and tomato added to my burger and she said NO. All of us were pretty astonished. What is the correct thing to do is add on the item(s) and add an additional fee on the check. So after our meal I quietly walked over to the owner and told him. Well, Megan must have heard because she raised her voice and said IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!! IT'S THE COOK'S FAULT! THE COOK WON'T LET ME DO IT!!! IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!! It was ridiculous. We will be back but we won't have her as a server ever again.
