Even 30 years later, Likety Split is still serving great burgers (just as delicious and juicy as they were in 1994) and perfectly swirled soft serve. Nothing much has changed: the 3 small tables inside, the two service windows, and friendly service. The Hudsonville Ice Cream is amazing, and generously scooped! Lastly, I was very impressed with how clean the grill and fryers are. The owner and staff take pride in their place!

We spotted this great little ice cream shop on our way home from Allegan. My husband got an apple pie shake (which had an actual slice of Dutch apple pie mixed in with the soft serve!). I chose two scoops of ice cream (Deer Trax and Mint Chocolate Chip). The staff member working was very friendly. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area when they're open again!

We are really happy that Lickety Split is back open for the season! The fresh cut fries were very good and so were the burgers. Looking forward to grabbing ice cream this summer. You may want to call ahead if visit during lunch or dinner as it can get pretty busy!

I love this place. They have really great hamburgers and homemade fries. Ice cream is awesome with much to offer in different flavors. Really nice small town place. Love the owners daughter that runs it. She is sweet and such a hard worker. I always have a great experience here.

Ordered fries 'xtra crispy', were soggy and undercooked. Took them back up and the blonde cooking said snotty "I cooked them 2 minutes ". I told her I ordered xtra crispy, she said "no you didnt". Here the customer isn't right. Only 2 of the 3 girls were working. The NICE owner was not, who is very nice. The 2 girls left to manage will definitely ruin that business if left alone. Sad.

How about one window for ordering and one window to pick up your order? Waited behind one customer to order and two other customers who arrived after we did were served before us at the other window. There is no clear organization to whether you order at one window and pick up at the other or you can order at both windows and pick up at each window. Nothing clarifies that when you walk in. Don’t expect your customers to provide order to your business when you should clearly establish the order yourself. Not very inviting to return.

3 families walked in at the same time. Each family ordered food and ice cream. We were the first to order but the last to get our food. I ordered the BLT with fries. The bread didn't have a fresh taste and the fries were soggy. The staff wasn't friendly

Food and ice cream is good, but I waited over 30 minutes to get ice cream and cheddar munchers (basically cheese curds). They also got my ice cream order wrong the first time. My suggestion is that if you're going to offer hot food, have the means to make it quickly. More griddle space, another person making the food (there was only 1 lady working the griddle and like 4 other girls there), etc.

New and improved, one of the best. Great prices. A big turn around, one of the best, I have ever been to. I will be back, again and again. They have a huge selection of ice cream. Many many flavors. They also have a large food selection. The new owner is hard working and very dedicated, to being an awesome place to eat. It's more than a new paint job. They have inside seating as well as outside seating. They have several picnic tables. They place is kept, very clean. If you order a large ice cream cone, you better have a big appetite, they are extremely large, it's awesome. I have never had a better banana slit, ever. I haven't tried the fried food menu, yet. It sure looks and smells good. I highly recommend Lickity Split. Two thumbs up.

What a gem of a place! Homemade hamburgers and I even ordered the homemade fries .... Delicious!!!I also had a chocolate cherry shake.It is always very good. Nice family atmosphere!Tables inside and outside.

I am so excited and happy to say that the old Lickety Split is back and even better than the original!! Everything was extremely clean and freshly painted. The owner/operator was friendly and accommodating of my being a vegan. My family and I enjoyed talking with her and she cooked the food to perfection!! All of our food and drinks ordered was fresh, the food was hot, the drinks were cold and everything was delicious!! My husband highly recommends the vanilla malt. I can’t wait to return. I would highly recommend that everyone stops by and enjoys this little slice of Pure Michigan heaven for themselves!!

The ice cream side is great, food not bad depending what you get. Again today i was over charged for a med pineapple and small choc shake w/snickers3.75+2.75+.75=7.25 plus tax not 8.00 after tax. It may only be change but it adds up when it keeps happening. So because of this Im only giving 2 stars

My brother was given a ice cream larger than he ordered on accident, which would have been fine if it wouldn't have slipped right off the cone! Instead of helping us clean it, we were just given napkins and a wet towel to clean it ourselves. We also weren't offered another cone. I know it was an accident but it felt rude that we weren't offered help or another cone. Left a bad taste and probably won't return sadly.

This place is a joke. They don't know vanilla from chocolate ice cream, forgot to put anything in the flurries and then charge $30 for 3 small flurries. This place has went downhill and it's pretty sad. It's not the 1st time that I've had awful service there but it will be my last.

We've eaten here a lot of times but it is slowly getting worse. We had to wait the last two times at least 40 min.for a burger combo, it was ridiculous. There was only one person working and she was talking to a friend not paying attention, to my burgers on the grill. Then after she took the burgers off the grill then she put our fries in to cook. She then started to talk to her friends again while our burgers sat off to the side not completed out in the open. This was about 7:00 not even close to closing time.

Haven't come here in a while, has gone terribly downhill since I visited last, waited 20 minutes for my food, there were 3 employees and 2 were new trainees, food came warm, but they messed up my g/f's sandwich and shorted us both on serving size, me on mozzarella sticks(only got 2 in my order) and my g/f got shorted on curly fries, they did refund for the sandwich, but this is just horrible, they messed up like half the order. It will be a LONG time before I try coming back here again.

Ordered carryout, 2 sandwiches, 2 hotdogs and 4 Sundae's. Told me 20 minutes, got their half hour later and nothing was made. The cook was upset having to answer the phone, and proceeded to yell at the girls that were working with her. Asked for my money back and told her to cancel the order that she hadn't started and she yells that she's going to start it soon. Needless to say, I won't go back and I live in town.

Had a soft serve Pistachio swirl and it was by far the best I’ve ever had. Perfect everything. Size and shape and creaminess! Plus it tastes like the real deal. Real pistachios. I’ll be going back. Thanks!

Normally pretty great.. more of a comment then a review I guess but I can’t post on the page. I came here today with my daughter as a speacial reward for meeting her reading goal. She looked forward to it all week. When we got here @ 11:40 nobody was here and it was not open even though the hrs for today says it opens at 11:30. Pretty disappointing. Sadly, we will be going elsewhere for lunch.Update: worker showed up at 11:47 driving like a bat out of hell and told me if I waited about 10-15 minutes she could get things fired up and start making food. After cook time that’d be another 25 mins!!! So we got lunch and came back for dessert and same lady was on her phone about something she personally ordered and don’t get off when we came in, just put it on speaker phone. She talked on the phone the whole time she was taking Our order and serving us. Not super happy with the service at all!!! If there was another place in town to get ice cream cones, we’d be going there.

Ice cream didn't seem fresh, covers were off of ice cream toppings and other food practices were questionable. No one in attendance when we entered. After a couple minutes, we finally found the employee sitting behind the shop gazing at her phone. When we asked if she worked there, she apologized and said she had been really busy and was taking a break. Not sure that I will stop by again.

We ordered quite a bit of ice cream (enought for 5 people) and they forgot 2 of the people's orders and we don't get it until the others were already completed with theirs.
