Food was very tasty, service was excellent and food arrived promptly. Only complaint was the price. I had the prime rib sandwich and although the meat was tasty, the sandwich had no sauce of any kind. Plain mayonnaise would have been better, but some kind of horse radish sauce would have taken it over the top.

I am visiting from out of town. I ordered a bbq flatbread and there was a long brown hair baked into the flatbread when I received it so it couldn’t have been mine. I told the waiter who apologized but did not do anything about it. He also still charged me for it. Super overpriced for the quality of food. I was with someone who ordered buffalo wings who ASKED the waiter if they were full wings, he said yes, but when we received them, they were half wings. We were also the ONLY ones in the restaurant at the time we came in. I was extremely disappointed in this place from being out of town. Will not be returning.

Seems like they are understaffed. Thankfully they told people with dogs they could not bring the dogs inside. The food is not that good. The inside is beautiful. All the staff seemed stressed.Dietary restrictions: Very little is gluten free and the waiter had trouble asking the kitchen staff because he said they do not speak English

DONT GO HERE!!! Go somewhere else. Our server was Mario, never offered or asked to refill drinks. Absolutely terrible. The pulled pork nachos were regular tortilla chips with melted cheddar cheese and pulled pork on them. Nothing else. The only decent thing was the Margherita pizza, which I didn’t get a picture of. We told him to split the bill and went over the bill in detail how to split it and he got it wrong not once but twice. And then to top it off I was over charged. Don’t go here.

Accommodated our party of 33 very well. Servers were attentive and friendly. Fish and bbq dishes were very good. Beautiful presentation. Nice atmosphere, cozy Up North feel. Great location.

First of all, they served my wine of choice, a nice dry California wine. I ordered the Whitefish and was not disappointed. The meal was perfectly prepared, broccoli was delicious with red mashed potatoes and parmesan crusted whitefish. I thought it was pricey, but it was worth it! We just stopped on a whim, no prior visits or recommendations and were very pleased. My husband had Walleye and said it was great too. I recommend this place.

The food was ok the price was steep and the brisket was oven smoked and had hardly any smoke flavor and was over done. Do not order your fries well done as they come it hard as nails. The ribs were good and the BBQ sauce was good. I doubt we will ever come back here. I was only going to give it 1 start but the wife said the ribs were good.

We traveled to sleeping bear sand dunes and found this place to eat and we ordered some ribs and crab cakes and asparagus soup. The barbeque ribs are very yummy and crab cakes with the mango sauce are delicious. The soup is very good. The waiter is very nice and friendly.

The food, service, and coffee was very good. We tried a couple flatbreads, a salad, and the parmesan whitefish. The back room has a birch bark theme and is beautiful.

I worked here in 2020 and the staff will always give you great customer service. It’s in their mission and grade I was apart of the team!(I still feel like apart of the team inside the restaurant)

Just stopped for drinks on our color tour drive. A beautiful day and they were still serving outdoors, so it was a no brainer. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be going back to try out their menu which looked very good.

Fries were great! But the amount of brisket in the platter was the same as that of the brisket sandwich my buddy had. Brisket was average, sauce was stock sweet baby rays, and again.. No way should this tray be $23.

Such an overall disappointing experience, it’s no surprise that for the years we have been coming to Glen Arbor, we have never come. The restaurant is always lacking customers.Service was so slow, food was bad. Nachos too much cheese, felt like it was all microwaved. Bathrooms so gross. Service was like pulling teeth and yet we were basically one of 5 or 6 total tables. Meanwhile the neighboring restaurants are on 2-2.5 hour wait- makes sense. The only decent item we had was the Walleye bites for our group of 6. Left hungry and bummed.

A huge shout out to Western Avenue Grill in Glen Arbor! They knocked it out of the park! They not only allow dogs in their outdoor eating area, but when we arrived, asked if we could get a to-go box so we could use it to give our dog some water - they went above & beyond and brought out an actual bowl of water for him!!!!! 😍 The food and drinks were also very good, great service and a really nice atmosphere! We will definitely be back next time we are up that way again!

We arrived at 5pm and were seated inside (we were the only ones inside) and Ashley took our drink order. Another staff member dropped our drinks and ran off. We waited for Ashley to come take our dinner order and watched the restaurant fill up (every table and booth). We finally asked another staff member if she could please get Ashley to take our order. That staff member took our order. We then watched every table in the place get their food. It was 630pm by this time and we asked when our food was coming. I also asked for a drink refill that I never received from her. The waitress rudely said "I'm not the cook" and went and got our food and thumped it down on our table and ran off. We had to ask another staff member for cutlery. It was third staff member that brought out bill and he apologized for the delay and comped our drinks. We won't be back.

Food was fine, reason for low rating is because you get the bill expecting free refills on “average tasting” iced tea and it’s $9 for 3 of them…ouch! A heads up would have been nice. At least the 3% credit card fee is clear on the menu.

Have always had a great experience here. A much better alternative to Art's - both in food and atmosphere. We were there in the off-season and they were about to close as it was slow. The manager, Andrew, saw us pull in and made an exception, inviting us in. The food was exclent, he was extremely friendly and warm, and soon the place began to re-fill with customers. Everyone was in good spirits and earnestly enjoyed the camradery on a Winter's day. Will definitely return.

This restaurant over the years can't seem to get it together with their management and staffing. I understand everywhere is understaffed right now, but there is a difference in staff treating customers with respect and being polite vs being extremely rude.My dad and I walked in and no one was at the hostess stand so we went and sat at the empty bar. Three waitstaff came and were pouring drinks and talking about who was going to serve us, trying to push us on to the other person, right in front of us. Finally after what seemed like a minute or two, a guy handed us menus and walked away. Not one of the three waitstaff greeted us or said hello. We stayed to eat and watched numerous couples stand at the hostess stand and get treated in a similar manner. Being local, it would be great to keep the WAG in our mix of places dine out, we will not be back with their current staff.

The service was not great at all. The guy who served us seemed like he didn't care at all and when we tried to split the bill for our order of 4 people between 10 people he split the bill down the middle and then denied it when I pointed it out. The food wasn't bad but the service was too bad to experience twice. I don't think we'll be back

We had a really nice dinner experience. We were indoors, although we have eaten outdoors when the weather was nicer. Service by Josh was excellent. Prices were reasonable, especially by Glen Arbor standards. The menu offered many choices, but we had whitefish tacos, which were excellent. The tacos were soft and not crumbly, which we liked a lot. We have eaten there several times before, and I expect to beat there again the next time we are in Glen Arbor.

We ate here three days in a row! The food and service were impeccable. As a previous employee for Disney I don’t take service quality lightly. Scott was our bartender and server and he simply never missed a beat. Every other server was pleasant including the hostess. The food is phenomenal and we even had the pleasure of meeting the head chef, Sal. The prime rib was the best I’d had in a long time, The brisket Mac and cheese was fantastic! And Sal whipped us up a final dinner where we brought in the salmon we caught that morning complete with lightly fried shrimp in a brandy cream sauce! Amazing!

I went here for vacation and this is my second time being here. The first time there was a manager named mario and he was sloppy and lazy but this second time around they had a new manager named andrew that let us sit outside with our two dogs and had the best steak i’ve had in awhile. i highly suggest the ny strip. our waiter sue did an amazing job, took care of us, and even brought extra chicken for our dogs. SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE!!!!
