Love this place which we visit each year, and I especially like our server, Laurie! She's so friendly and helpful that we were so glad she was our server again! She went above and beyond last year looking through all of the ingredients in the pies to see if one was vegan for me - I love the cherry one!My friend, who isn't vegan, but is gluten free loves the chocolate torte.I love how fresh the salads are and modify the fruit and cheddar salad to make it vegan. We've already eaten here three times during our week vacation! So glad this is in Glen Arbor... one of my happy places!Dietary restrictions: Good vegan options or modifications!

Food was delicious and light. We tried the Maryland Crabcake, the Blackened Whitefish, and the Good harbor salad. Salad pieces were cut too large in my opinion, but that didn't affect the quality of the meal. It was all great!Service was also perfect despite the very busy lunch hour.

What an amazing breakfast at Good Harbour Grill. Right in the heart of Glen Arbor we were immediately sat and Laurie our server was quick to take our order and get our drinks out. It will not disappoint with a wonderful menu and close to shops and plenty of parking. If you are staying at The Homestead definitely a quick drive and you have to enjoy the espresso =)

Love this place! Not only does this charming spot with outdoor seating serve the best food in "downtown" Glen Arbor but it also has such a friendly staff. We love Sarah (she's also a nurse!) and Stephanie. The dinner menu is very vegan-friendly (lunch is a bit lacking) and the kitchen will modify as much as possible to accommodate special diets, including seagan. From the ambiance on the little front patio to the family-style salads, sangria, and delish cioppino and whitefish, it's no wonder we dined here five times while in town.

Great little place with a unique maritime feel! The food was amazing - fresh baked bread, garden fresh salad, and a variety of main dishes for meat/seafood lovers and vegetarians alike! A little on the pricey side, but for a special dinner it’s worth it. We would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

Good Harbor Grill is a wonderful restaurant, located on the main street of Glen Arbor. As the name implies it is tastefully nautically themed. A good friend of mine and I have been coming here for many years and it never fails to disappoint. The food is excellent and various. In particular, they are very thorough and attentive to dietary restrictions - including gluten-free and vegan. The wait staff is attentive and personable. In particular, Laurie has been our server this week and in previous years. She always remembers us from one year to the next, including our menu favorites. She obviously loves what she does. I heartily recommend this place!!

This was the best (and biggest!) breakfast that we had all week! Highly recommended! We visited for breakfast and arrived right at opening time. We were promptly seated. The breakfast menu was.....vast. They have a huge selection of breakfast items....I wish I could have had a bite of everything! We ended up with the Big Bear Breakfast which was really enough to feed two people, but we each had our own! The food was truly delicious! The bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, the sausage was great, and the red-skinned potatoes were amazingly good! We also had to try the cherry multi-grain pancakes...O.M.G! These would have been a meal on their own (and they actually are, according to the menu!) but tried to share them alongside the Big Bear Breakfast.... it's not often that I have to tap out, especially from breakfast, but there was a lot of food on our table! The staff was very friendly and very attentive! We'll certainly be back!

Food was good, service very friendly. Some of the items were over/undercooked but still tasted good. Highly recommend the braised short rib. We also ordered the surf and turf special, very tasty. Appetizers (mussels) were good as well.

The patio atmosphere was cozy and charming. We had the Whitefish sandwich (spicy fish on a really excellent bun) and the Michigan Fruits salad with grilled chicken (fresh, delicious produce added grilled chicken 😋 and subbed creamy garlic dressing). The fresh baked strawberry rhubarb pie was perfect and the coffee was strong. Our waitress did very well considering she was the only waitress we saw! Overall, a pleasant spot to relax, eat, and people watch with our pup!

Good Harbor Grill is a nice little spot with a wide ranging menu and vegetarian-friendly options. We really appreciated that the salad included with dinner was more than the typical lettuce and cucumber. I ordered a simple chicken meal and it was good. There was a problem with one of the orders and when notified, the staff was accommodating and discounted the meal without even being asked.

Been here several times, an excellent place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Thai Takeover menu was fabulous, as is their regular seasonal menu. The Chef uses many local farm markets, supports farm to tabl, so things are always fresh. The atmosphere was very nice, nautical themed. The staff was just as amazing as the food. It was clean and everyone friendly. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area.

Nice restaurant and friendly staff in Glen Arbor. Turkey sandwich had plenty of meat. We sat by the kitchen and I was impressed with the efficiency of the cook. She was preparing food quickly and it had great presentation. My $12 sandwich seemed kinda high but common in touristy areas.

I had two fantastic experiences at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. The breakfast and lunch options were impressive, and the portion sizes were more than generous. The flavors were exceptional, and I already can't wait to go back. Specifically, I have to recommend the cinnamon cherry coffee cake; yum. The eggs benedict was perfectly poached and accompanied by a delicious homemade sauce. The Havarti dill grilled cheese was a unique tasty twist on a classic sandwich, and the turkey sandwich was by far the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant, and can confidently say that you won't be disappointed.

Great food freshly prepared. Truly local, bread from next door, local beer. Gotta respect a nautical themed, Great Lakes grill that looks like it hasn’t changed anything since the 70s.

Good Harbor Grill is a great place to eat. Small town USA with a mix of tourists and locals enjoying good food, local beer, and great service. Everything we had was super.

The place is looks nice, they give you salad and bread when you order a main dish which is great. But the food itself wasn’t good neither was the presentation on the plate. I paid $21.50 for veggie stir fry and $18.50 for veggie Thai pasta. I think the prices are too high for the type of food served. I could have gone to a Chinese take out and pay way less for same taste. I will say that the blueberry pie slide $7 totally worth it !!

Good hearty breakfast with oversized pancakes and tasty bacon. Loose leaf Irish breakfast tea was a real treat. Good ambiance. Remember to park in circle in back!

If you are looking for some nice breakfast options and a nice little seat out on a quaint patio, this is a great choice! We have been here a few times now. The servers are polite and the food has been great! Prices are pretty on par with other places in the area. Highly recommended!

Walked up was told it would be 45mins before we would get our food and at almost exactly 45mins when my white fish sandwich showed up. It was absolutely amazing, actually blackened (the spice blend) and not charred to pieces. I've really got to hand it to the waitstaff and cooks; they are holding it down.Seriously deliciousOne star off for having no covid precautions.

We have been all around the area and eaten at all the fancy restaurants. Good Harbor Grill tonight is my favorite go to place. The food is well prepared, delicious, and feels like home cooked. The staff is excellent and attentive to GF needs. Our waitress was amazing changing my half order of chicken dinner to a whole order AFTER the fact because I was starving after trail hiking. Definitely give this small place a chance. You won’t be disappointed.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced, but the breakfast cocktails were waaay too expensive. Nevertheless, I would come back here.

We came by early morning on the 4th of July because it was the first breakfast place on the google list and they were open. As any breakfast place they were busy, but we were still greeted with a smile and treated like a guest. The food of course was exactly what we needed before all the 4th of July festivities!

This is the only restaurant I felt safe eating at during our trip. It is easy to distance at one of the tables outside and staff are consistent about wearing masks and enforcing the rule for guests. Also the food is really really good and vegetarian friendly. We ate here twice.

Love this restaurant! I went with my sister who is gluten and dairy free and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that they don’t slather things in butter and/or cheese to make up for a lack of flavor - the food was tasty in and of itself. Oh, also they have gluten free bread.Highly, highly recommend the crab cakes dinner.

Great place in Glen Arbor for dinner if your looking for local cuisine. Friendly upbeat staff, even if they're in the weeds. Always a local brew on tap.
