Anderson's market is where it's at if you need anything in a hurry without going all the way to TC food related or not Anderson's will probably have it. With their wide variety of everything you can't go wrong!!! So if you're in Glen arbor or nearby and you need something on the quick I definitely recommend Anderson's

Stood in line for almost 10 minutes while eyeing what looked like 2 day old food for lunch. 9.99 for a 4x4 slice of two day old enchiladas...didn't even get to try it, even walked over and "rang the cowbell for service". An employee just looked at me and then promptly looked away. Asked the manager where the employees were and he had no clue either, no help. Waste of time.

Rude deli person.Waited forever while she was having a conversation then finally waved them down. She yelled across the place, what you need?Like, I need you to come to the deli counter and speak at a reasonable volume.1/2 pound min. Ok whatever, but several 1/4 pound of different meat don't fly.Prices not listed.Expensive place.

Anderson's Market was absolutely awesome! Having been in a small town, I was very surprised at how many gluten-free options they had available. The whole Market was wonderful and laid out in a very easy to navigate way. Prices of course were a little bit High since it's the only grocery area unless you want to drive to Traverse City.

We made do with the groceries from here while on vacation, but it seemed a bit overpriced. They do have a lot of offerings for special diets and organic choices, but that was not quite what we were looking for. The staff was super helpful and friendly, though. I would recommend this place if you're staying in the Glen Arbor area and can't/don't want to drive into Traverse City for groceries. We just wanted anything cheaper than taking our family of 5 out to eat while staying here. That being said, this place fit that bill.

Wonderful small town store with big city gourmet and practical products. Fun place to shop, great deli items, beer, soda, meats etc.Great selection of liquors and wine. They even have Moomers local ice cream yummy. Anderson makes shopping fun again!

Deli food is beyond expensive and really bad. Chicken is cold and soggy. Save yourself the cash and go to a sit down restaurant because that's how much you will spend here.

Anderson market is a go to when traveling up north near the Empire/Glen arbor area! Great service and a wide selection of goods in a small market. Similar products to Kroger with everything you need for meals or just a quick drink stop!

Great deli..friendly competent staff. Returnable only accepted 7am until 10am BUT none on Sundays since no tech person is avail for trouble shooting on Sunday. Been shopping there for 29 years. Regularly employ smart xchange students. Limited parking but near public restrooms..1 short block away and xtra public parking!

Love this place. Great variety, fresh produce, excellent meat choices, wonderful breads and bakery items. For a small store they pack a lot in. Staff is wonderful as well!

Nice store. Good selection. Prices were high but that was expected. It was very busy when we went- line stretching thru the aisle. It took them a bit to open up the self checkout lanes and speed things up.

Holiday weekend and it was packed but it's a very cool store. Fresh fruit, good selection in the deli. I only went for some ranch but was amazed at the marinade selection so bought some of that too...honey crisp apples and a few other things. I told the cashier I'll be back some day to actually take my time and really look around.

Anderson’s (Or the IGA) has so many vegetarian and vegan options, among a relatively large selection of groceries. A small secret, though, is their pizza. There aren’t many nearby options for pizza carry out, and sometimes people don’t want to drive 20 minutes to Market 22. IGA’s pizza does the trick.

Anderson's is either the coolest small big store or biggest small store. Either way it is an awesome place to go when in Glen Arbor. We always pick up their home made cherry brats which are absolutely delicious. If all the restaurants in town are full we highly recommend picking up some of their home made sandwiches and grab a bag of chips and a drink and take a short walk to the beach for a better view than you would get in any restaurant!

Man who works at the deli is very rude. We asked for 1/3 pound of deli meat and you would have thought we asked him to do some outrageous task. He rolled his eyes, told the next customer "I'm clearly having a good day!", and threw our bag of lunch meat at us. Bizarre behavior

So glad a local meat Market was allowed to sell brats and hotdogs by the door. After coming from walking the beach, something hot off the grill was perfect. Got what we needed inside the store and off we went.

Being in a tourist town, expect to pay higher prices for food. However, the aisles are crowded, the selections are minimal and our cashier was not personable at all. We were greeted, we didn't receive any eye contact, and we felt as though we were an unwanted bother. If there was a different store, I would definitely shop there. As it is, they pretty much own the market for this area.

I visited Anderson's Glen Arbor Market for a couple sodas and some snack food. This was on a quiet Sunday around 1pm. The store was immaculately clean and every shelf and display was full of product. In the aisles all product was neatly pulled forward. The store was attractive. I asked an employee for assistance and they very pleasant. The cashier was also very pleasant.

We go here for lunch when we work out in the area. Very high quality food for a grocery store. Very fresh. Cheap prices as well! There's a large selection of fruit and vegetables and many organic options. If you need any grocery items and you're in the area, definitely the only place to stop!

A little bit pricey, but a very good selection of fine and everyday foods, also things you'd think would be hard to find. Very good quality produce. Staff are friendly and helpful.
