SavALot is a supermarket similar to Aldi. The prices are low and they don't charge you for your shopping cart.Of the two supermarkets in Gladwin, SavALot has better prices by far. They mostly carry their store brand items that are just as comparable in taste to "name brands", but they do have a number of "name brand" items sprinkled throughout the store.The staff has always been helpful and courteous. With the prices of groceries continuing to escalate in cost, you will save money at SavALot. Lots of great savings.You won't save a little, you'll save a lot!

Newly remodeled, looks great. You have to know your prices on your items, I found that they were more expensive on things, that I could find say at Meijer. But if you need something in a hurry, they've expanded their fruit and vegetable section.

I've been into the Save A Lot in Gladwin a handful of times since relocating into the area. They offer national brands, but mostly store brands which doesn't bother me because I'm saving money when buying the store brands.Every time I've gone into the store it's clean, well stocked, meat department is clean, and produce are fresh. No complaints. Now that I think about it I enjoy knowing that they are well stocked after driving 20 minutes to get to them...Thanks!Staff have been nothing but a joy to talk to at the check-out and are more than helpful to find an item or answer questions in the meat department. In fact I was debating getting in line to check out the other day and the young cashier was closing his lane when he saw me with a full cart he waved me over and opened his lane back up.Save A Lot goes above and beyond. I'll continue to be a customer! Keep up the great work!

This store sucks one they don’t like to answer their phone two was just in there I work in the health work with immune comprised individuals so I wear a mask a wench of a female short chubby oblong brown tinted glasses and a brown plastic rimmed glasses with just touching her shoulders brown hair gave the snottiest look I’m assuming I was wearing a mask. Is that how you treat a paying customer? Her neck funky looking wench should be wirking in back not dealing with customers. Bad attitude she has.

Sometimes you can find name brands. Even the store brands aren't too bad. Steak is almost always a little tough, but produce seems to be always fresh. Prices are excellent for my location. Not a lot of grocers in my area.

Best food even meats at low prices at good quality values, since they remodeled Its beautiful. What I like best is fresh produce is the first thing that you see. One downfall is the carts are kept outside; definitely cold on the hands this time of year.

Ok variety on food. I generally travel out of town for my groceries for better variety and prices.It seems every time I go into this store the employees are arguing with each other or talking about what they are not going to do on their shift. This last time a woman employee was talking about how she wasn't going to go get carts because there were 2 males younger than her to go get carts.... Just a strange conversation between employees while my groceries are being scanned.I avoid this store.

Small detail but.....They have moved everything around., It took an extra 15 minutes I hadn't planned on after work to get the shopping done.But it looked great. Nicely organized and clean.Everyone was helpful.

I always come here when I need to do a complete restock in my kitchen. The prices are very fair, everything is clearly marked so you know where to go. You may have troubles moving around since the place is very popular. Also, bring reusable bags. Save-a-lot will sell you plastic bags or have empty boxes. Don't count on there to be a box. Either bring a reusable bags or you'll be paying more to carry your groceries.

If you actually compare the prices of save a lot to family fare yes it is possible to save large amounts of money. The meat is good the milk is good the eggs are good and the butter works. They had everything I needed from seasonings to condiments full variety of items. I will shop here permanently until further notice. With employee wages and taxes yearly income caps and transportation repairs the way they are you would be smart to get your groceries Here. Good place!

Best place to shop on a budget in gladwin. Excellent meat options and better boneless rib cuts for cheaper then family fare. They don't have everything but they have Kentucky legend brand premium ham and turkey which family fare doesn't carry. Id skip the ice cream from here though unless it's the novelty type, the big buckets have larger ice crystals giving then a gritty mouth feel. Not really a reflection of the store, just that it really is low quality cheap ice cream.
