First time at the kennel. I was very nervous about leaving our fur babies there for a long weekend. Glenn and April were very warm and welcoming. 2nd time the furbabies were excited when we pulled in the drive. Finally met Angela again she was very warm and welcoming.Prices were great. We definitely will be back. ❤️

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a kennel for our dog while we were out of town. I was very disappointed with our experience. When we went to pick him up they told us he ran out of food but never contacted us about it before picking him up so we could remedy the situation, so he came home with an upset stomach. They had no idea which one was our dog, but also made comments about how he has been there before when we hadn’t. When we got him home we found a wound on his paw that we weren’t told about either. We will not use this kennel again.

My 7 month labradoodle puppy loves going to daycare here. Angela takes great care of her and keeps me posted on things and updates me throughout the day. She definitely takes pride in her business and cares about her customers. I highly suggest this kennel to anyone that is looking for a great doggie daycare or overnight care!

A couple years back we had unexpectedly had to get our dogs Nova and Abby out of the house temporarily and Golden Paws here did amazing and took them in last minute! When we picked them up they had the happiest of smiles on their faces! I would totally recommend taking your dogs here if you need someone to watch over them

We’ve boarded our dog at Golden Paws for over a year. Glen and Angela have always treated us and our dog like family. I couldn’t recommend a local business more than this one. 5 stars.

5 Gold Stars! Angela from Golden Paws Kennels is the best. She is great to communicate with and even sent me photos and videos of my new puppy, Floki, while we watched her grow. I thought it was such a nice idea to give Floki a comforting blanket that smelled of her Mom and siblings too. I highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a doberman puppy.

It only takes a couple of minutes to see that they love all the dogs in their care. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there for a week. When we got home, he went right to bed. That means they gave this puppy plenty of activity to wear himself out (which takes a lot for a 1yo lab). We will definitely use them again!!

Angela was exceptionally kind, flexible and helpful when we had a change of plans recently while traveling near Golden Paws.We took our dog, Atticus, there for two daycare dates and felt comfortable that he was well taken care of while we couldn't be with him. Atticus has anxiety issues and both Angela and her husband went out of their way to dote on him a little extra and spend more time with him while helping him to acclimate.We are very grateful that he had a safe, comfortable place to go at the last minute and we are happy that we found a new daycare facility to take Atticus when we visit near Gladwin again! I was so thankful for how accommodating they were with my Gracie They kept her warm and did a very nice job grooming her They made a special time for her because she has not been well. It was just an all around great experience
