The better of the 2 stores in Gladwin. More organized, but still have many obstacles in the aisles. Would be easier to move around if stock was put on the shelves instead of on carts in front of shelves or on the floor. Produce section always looks fresh and fully stocked so that's a plus!

Today was $5off coupon day I gave my coupon, when clerk told me what I owed I ask did you take my coupon off his reply yes. Got to my car looked over receipt took in ask where the $5 off was. He got another gentleman that came out said he couldn't do anything about it. That dollar general got the last of my business.. he smuggly said to bad.

They had a poor selection of fall decorations for the house but the store was decently clean in terms of things put away and not in the aisle. The employee at the counter was super nice and eager to be helpful and very kind. She made my trip over great with her personality and warmth. 🙂

Aisles are too close together. People who use walkers and wheelchairs have a hard time navigating the aisles. Aisles are very over stocked. Even an obese person, like myself has to walk down the aisles sideways in n order to shop. Prices are reasonable, but NOT on everything in store. A lot of the items you don't know the prices of until you get to the cashier. They also need to put their items lower for short people, as the items on top shelves are not accessible, and no help is available for a worker to get the items for you. They are very understaffed. You rarely see more than 2-3 people working at a time. They really need to rethink the size and structure of their buildings. If they are going to have this much inventory, they need to make larger stores to accommodate it.

Dollar General in Albright Shores is where I do most of all my shopping. The people that work there are supper friendly and help in anyway that they can.

Organized and we'll stocked... An employee acted as if I was a neuscence for asking for a price check via phone prior to comeing I,to town. Then once I went to check out I was asked to remove my items from my hand basket because it made her job easier. I havent seen this employee in over a month possible they issues were addressed already.

Great amount of products available on the shelves !! Nice new update. Absolutely loved this store Fancy drink containers were our favorite at rock bottom prices

It was bad it was a cluster mess and even slower service at check out.... a few of us in a never served never ending line almost left. Wish I did. Dollar general by the chemical bank in gladwin was bad on the 1rst of the year. I will never go there again. I will stick to my local DG store love that place.

I first went to general dollar when I was on a vacation in Tennessee. I though I had died and gone to heaven. Now there two general dollars in Gladwin Mi. I dair say I'm in one of them 5 out 7 days for something. I have started buying groceries there, do in need to say they have almost everything there. The people how work there are wonderful and know there store. This store is a beautiful thing $$

Theres an older lady thats a cashier that wont allow you to purchase cigarettes or alcohol if you dont have a michigan ID (i live out of state). I had purchased beer here previously but if i had her as my cashier i wouldnt had been able to. I had returned for some candles but the customer in front of me was turned away from buying tobacco products even though she had a current ID to prove her age so i set down what i had in my hands (more than candles) and walked out as well. I will never return to this location as long as that lady works there and i dont even smoke.

I love DG but this location is always in disarray!! It's hard to navigate through this store there's always things piled up in the middle of the isles! The store is already too small the mess just makes it that much worse.

These stores are everywhere but try to avoid them. They treat employees like trash and have a policy to not support, donate or volunteer in the community. You will never see them sponsor a kids team of any kind.

Drive thru of hell ..cant get out of line if u wanted to..my shakes were melted when i got them ...want a 🍓 shake.grapped a choclote too.in line for ten minutes...uugh..could had ran it thru the first window..but with barrier it would had not help them nor myself..

This store is always friendly you are always welcomed at the door. They have no issues opening another register to get people thru the line as fast as possible.
