We stayed at Bayshore by just stopping in to see if any Cabins were available. The owner John was there. He was so very friendly and accommodating. We Checked in right away and it made me bummed to think we had just spent half a week in a hotel! The cabins were so cute! They have a fish cleaning station and even a place to park your boat overnight. The front of Bayshore is complete with a nice tackle and bait shop. I highly recommend this place! We will be back for sure!

Thank you to John, Nicki, Katie and to everyone who makes this so enjoyable. The cottages are clean & set up for you. Just bring your own towels. This is so perfect for families. Kids can fish right off the dock or Getty and parents can watch and relax. Three minutes away is a beautiful beach and oodles of activities for kids…bring their bikes. You have everything you need within a couple of minutes. We went for a fishing vacation and got so much more…life long friends. Bull and Daisy Mae want to say thank you too. We will be back ♥️Rooms: If you are looking for a 5 star motel go to a 5 star motel. If you’re looking for a place to kick back, relax, this is it. It has everything you need, kitchen, bathroom, comfortable beds, cable, a/c, heat, etc.Nearby activities: You’re in a premium fishing area but only 2 to 3 minutes away from the Gladstone park. It’s phenomenal.Safety: Everyone looks out for each other. I know this personally as we ran up on a sandbar and strangers came to help. AMAZING.Walkability: Lots of areas to walk.Food & drinks: You’re so close to lots of restaurants, grocery stores, bars…you won’t go hungry!Noteworthy details: We have never ever met such friendly people. We had so much fun. It’s a priceless gem in the north woods.

John is fantastic! I took three reels in to have new line put on. He not only put the line on but took some extra time to get them running just like new again. I’m fairly new to the area and he took the time to give me a bunch of tips on local lakes. Very thankful for people like John. He is the only bait and tackle shop I will be using going forward.

Nice guy that owns the place but the cabin was filthy, literally had dust balls hanging from the ceiling. Refrigerator, microwave, counters were so gross. We decided not to stay. Really screwed up our plans but we were not going to stay in such a dirty place!

The owners are super friendly, and all the guests are like family. They're beautiful little cabins that honestly feel like a home away from home, I couldn't think of a better place to stay! Kid and pet friendly, close enough to visit if you want and separate enough so you don't have to worry about bothering each other. If there was an option higher than 5 starts they would have it!

They helped us get an idea of where the ice was "safe". Obviously ice is never 100% safe, but they helped us get pointed in the right direction, so we didnt end up in trouble. Prices are average. They have all the bait you need. Wiggles, many types of minnows, spikes, waxes, etc..

I don't go anywhere else for my bait and tackle this place is very helpful in information and what bait to use no matter what season it is he can put you in the best steams to fish and the right places in the lake where the big fish are I highly recommend this bait shop
