This place is the bombdiggity-Just what the town needed -great pizza, great ice cream and the owners are so sweet. What a great addition to Waters. Love the music on Thursday eves-so fun, and everyone is just so sweet and welcoming after my long drive to get there which is so appreciated, they even remember my pizza order every time! 🍨 🍕 ♥️My dog even loves it there! Keep up the good work Trailside- till I see you again my friends!

Great ice cream, but terrible employee. Me and my family have been here a few times while enjoying weekends up north, and everytime there is a very rude younger woman. She doesn't listen to what you order because she turns around and will talk to others, and will then proceed to ask, "so what is it you wanted exactly? In an annoyed tone. I've also heard this from many of my friends and family who have gone there and it's sad, because we're typically on vacation trying to have a good time.

What can I say, Trailside is a local family business and they sell you comfort food at a 10 out of 10. Pizza and Ice Cream - Yes Please. They have a half and Half pizza: half your choice of toppings for your pizza and half cheezie bread. Ashby ice creams and high end customer service. Anytime I am on 75 passing exit 270, I get off and sit back and chill with great food and yummy desserts!

Five 60 year olds enjoyed a day e-biking, with a MANDATORY stop enjoying TRAILSIDE ice cream. You must interact with the AWESOME staff. Quaint, comfortable, delicious ice cream and Yacht Rock music streamed to make the trip memorable. Thank you for a great experience!

Visited on Labor Day weekend, and although they were quite busy, the service was quick, friendly, and efficient! Oh, the ice cream was plentiful and delicious!

The subs were delicious!! Toasted to perfection and plenty of meat and cheese. I got a flurry and it was better than any chain flurry, and my husband got a sundae that was huge! We went back for more ice cream later and got impressively huge scoops and enjoyed the big variety of flavors to choose from.

The sugar free apple pie ice cream was delicious! Wish they had more sugar free flavors ❤️ All the food looked really good and all the prices were very modest. We’ll be back for sure!

Found this place and had ice cream, later came back for pizza. Both were outstanding a real diamond in the rough. The folks running this place are just the best. So friendly and wonderful to be around. We'll be back for sure. Will be stopping as we go north.

Delicious ice cream. Many flavors and options. Lots of pepperonis on our tasty large pizza. Pleasant outdoor seating. Very nice for them to refill our water bottles when we were heading back on the adjacent North Central State bike trail.

How lucky for those of us in the Waters area to have a couple open this local business. Incredible pizzas with fresh toppings. Follow up your dinner with some great ice cream creations. Just recently began offering sub sandwiches...Upd 9/1/22: No longer serves pizza, still has great ice cream!!

Me my wife and my son stopped here bc they wanted ice cream on our way back to the cabin. I'm not an ice cream eater so i seen what else they had in the menu. Pizza smelled good so i ordered that along with the bread sticks. Wife and son loved the ice cream. I however didn't like the pizza or the bread sticks. I ended up getting sick. Probably bc of too much garlic? But other than that we would stop by again

We met family here. We ordered at the window and ate at the picnic table. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. The banana splits are big! The place was easy to find.

The best selection of hand dipped icecream I've ever found. As a part-time Waters resident I'm proud to support this business. If you are heading up or down I-75 or Old 27 south of Gaylord, it's well worth the stop for a treat.

Stopped in today w/ parents for a treat after our picnic. First impression was wonderful, the young lady taking our order was a delight. Ordered 2 shakes and a Malt. Got 2 of them, took it to my parents and waited for the 3rd. 2 other customers ordered and they received theirs. I still was waiting for mine. The young lady asked me if I needed something else and I stated I hadn't received my last shake . She said O, I'm sorry, turned and asked the older male and he yelled I'M WORKING ON IT. I was was shocked and the poor girls face was just as surprised as mine. I stated wow that was rude. He said excuse me , what did you say. I told him he was rude, that was wrong. "Well what do you want me to do when equipment isn't working right." (He stated) I told him not be rude and just explain what's going on. Maybe try being an adult and professional and just tell other employees and customer, I'm sorry it will be a min I'm having some issues. First time ever going there and probably will go someplace else when visiting family . Feel bad for the 2 girls and older female, having to work beside someone like that.Thank you for your response and I get people have bad days, but at same time that is no excuse nor the explanation he gave me nor did he apologize or say sorry for the wait when he brought the shake out. Thank you Robin and the girls were exceptional. We will give you another try when we go back to visit family.Thank you again.

We were lucky to find this gem while camping at Otsego State Park. The workers were GREAT- friendly/helpful/fast, the ambiance was great and the ice cream SO yummy!

I don't have a picture or anything but it's a very very good place, we went there when the severe storm came and stuff we were on the way back and it really calmed me and my family down so yeah 5 out of 5 10 out of 10 the best place.
