We were talking to a friend about Treetops Resort and in our conversation, he noted we needed to visit the Sparr Mall. As we were driving, taking in the fall colors, we happened upon a sign directing us to the Sparr Mall. We knew it was small, but enjoyed seeing the selection of wares available. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Stopped here on a whim trying to get Rattlesnake hills. Proprietor was really nice, helpful. Overheard her talking about the Jerky and Kippered Beef from Wolverine, got some and it was awesome. Decent selection of dry/ canned goods.It's a country party store to a teeThey're also a Husky dealer - so if you need a chainsaw, they got em.

I love Sparr! We know the peaple very well and they are very nice. They have candy, food liquor, and tobacco products. I ride my bike 6 miles to get ice cream and a pop in the summer. They sell chainsaws as well and you can order carhartts as well. I recommend this place if you pass buy it or something.

I have been going to Sparr Mall for thirty years! Every time I go in there I receive the warmest welcome and the friendliest service! It is the epitome of your small town country store ! From frozen pizzas, movie rentals, popcorn, tequila, wine, chainsaws, Carhartts, sugar beets to Phyllis' homemade blueberry pies (if you're lucky enough to get invited in :) !! The owners are salt to the earth people who are very well loved by thousands of people who are blessed enough to call them friends!!

I have been looking everywhere for this beverage called Crook & Marker. Low and behold this gem of a place actually had it! Closes to me being 30 miles away! Worth the drive! Thank you so much for stocking it! I will be back! :)

In the center of what is often referred to as "God's Country," is a great little slice of Heaven itself. It's called Sparr Mall and the owner is clearly an Angel! It is, one of few left, Mom & Pop types of Party Store. It's so much more! You can get a pack of gum as well as a Carhartt wardrobe. You can buy a chainsaw or have yours repaired here! Stellar! I also noticed that if another small, local business has a quality product you will find it promoted here, like Triple M Farm's meat products. I find them superior in quality and flavor compared to any other national brands! Just another example of how lucky we are to have a place like this available to us. It's a convenience mart, a specialty store and a favored gathering spot in a world where such care and attention, (from owners you can actually meet), are now disappearing as a result of cold, corporate capitalism and greed! Do yourself a favor and put a Sparr Mall experience on your bucket list! And spoil yourself with a new Stormy Kromer while you're there!

Ive been going to the sparr mall since i can remember, I miss going to see the bear and deer. The cages still remain and it's quite nostalgic. Anyway I always have love for these small shops that are tucked away in rural areas.

This is a hidden gem in Sparr Valley. They have a great liquor and beer selection for competitive prices. There is a small dry goods section and lots of Sparr themed apparel. When in the neighborhood, the Sparr Mall has the supplies you need.

Sparr Mall is the greatest little treasure in Northern Michigan. Nestled in the little village of Sparr, near Gaylord, it is the ultimate small town shopping experience. The staff and owners are always friendly and helpful. You can buy anything that one would need for an adventure in the North Woods or for the quick stop on the way home from work: Food, Beer, Liquor, Clothing and even chain saws. In the fall, the grandkids of the owners sell cornstalks and pumpkins.

The lady (for lack of a better, more suitable word for her!) named Phyllis that owns this place is a real nasty lady. Very rude and snotty, and her prices are ridiculous.. A person with her attitude doesn't deserve your business whatsoever.

I miss Pokey and Smokey but this is the absolute best place in town.. possibly the only place in town but that doesnt matter.. it is the BEST Place in town. (my teen daughter was not amused with the "mall" part of their name.
