Interesting spot where you never know what you might find. You will find things you didnt even know you needed until they were there. Special sale days are fun to take advantage of as well for extra deals. The stock rotates frequently and you will not find the same items on subsequent visits. The staff was friendly.

I love this place. It either has what you need. Or they happen to have what you are looking for, and sometimes have stuff your not looking for. Prices are either lower than big box stores or equally priced. This particular location is located in the same parking lot as the Salvation Army. It's easy to see from the road. The employee's are so friendly here. Definitely recommend this place.

OK this place is fantastic! It's like a cross between a garage sale and a flea market of sorts. You can find all kinds of things you never knew you needed lol. Blue tooth speakers, rugs, loofah sponges, art supplies, automotive parts, clothing, pet supplies, all sorts of gifts. I even got some bird seed lol. Employees are friendly and it's very organized!

We went to this store three years ago and at that time we weren't impressed with the merchandise. Today we were very impressed with the selection. Even I, who usually doesn't buy anything at stores like this one, found some things to buy. There's plenty of parking nearby. Being from out of town, we had to use Google to find the store because it's not on a main road, although it is very visible from the road it is on.

Staff is very friendly new stuff everyday and for how much stock they have an inventory they have and how busy they are they keep the place very clean

Normally this type of store would receive a 3 from me. However they stock unique items at great prices. I bought 30 rustoleum cans of paint for $1.40 each!! Rustic signs, I was pleasantly surprised.

This place used to be awesome. It had great deals. However recently the prices are close to grocery store prices or more. Most of The food is close to expiration date or even expired yet little to no discount. There are some deals still ( a few) despite the notable jump in prices in the food and other items through out store.

This is a cool little store that has some good deals on hard goods of all kinds. Some items are too expensive but many are priced well under retail. Staff are friendly. Would recommend 4/5

This place is an experience! It is best described as an adventure, as opposed to a shopping trip. Don't go into merchandise outlet with a specific item in mind. The items they carry change all the time, but everything is heavily discounted and there any many deals to be discovered here! I always stop at Merchandise Outlet anytime I'm passing through Gaylord. Highly recommended!

This store can have great deals. If you are looking for it generally it is cheap here. Their tools are actually not bad and cheap enough to just rebuy if broken or lost however they are backed by warranty. I did once overhear a manager mention something about oriential trading so you may want to Google your purchase which is never a bad idea when being a smart shopper. Also staff is friendly. Selection changes often because it depends on what the purchasing person is able to get deeply discounted from other retailers (for some items). The way I look at it is I stop here in occasion and but things I will need or could use but because of selection changes happening so often if I need it right now I generally go to another store. None the less it is always fun to see what they've got.

This place is like a treasure hunt. You never know what they will have. It is all closeout items. Everything is new. It reminds me a thrift shop but with new stuff. I found brand name new collared shirts for $4. Every week they have a 20% entire store day. It's just a fun place to explore.

My in-laws got us hooked on this place. A real trash or treasure adventure each visit. One time I found $5 Italian dress shoes and bought three pair. You will find toys, tools, home decor, baby supplies, electronic accessories, etc... and always at an unbelievable price. When in Gaylord, the Merchandise Outlet is a must visit.

Tried to shop there and week ago and was very disapointed. Workera were very rude and proclaimed had to wear a mask or could not serve us. My wife and I can't wear masks and where discriminated against. I explained to them we can't and it is not a law. They didn't seem to care. So because if this we are no longer shopping there and will go else where. Shame on your company.

I live in Harrison, my 2 daughter's and I decided to go to Gaylord shopping. We usually go to Saginaw.. we loved all the stores we went too !!! Merchandise outlet in Gaylord is a better store then the ones in Harrison, Mt Pleasant and Midland..Looking forward to another shopping day in Gaylord, MI

I always shop MO when I need household or small gifts and have bought some fun stuff there. What bothers me is that the staff is always different. People don't stay long and the management always changes. When I shop Big Lots the same staff has been there at least 5 years. So what is the problem at Merchandise Outlet? Is the pay so low people find other jobs? Is the management so bad people can't work there? Is it just a problem of finding good help? Everyone in my employ has been with me 5-7 years. If MO is a popular, successful store and people love it then perhaps they should be treating their staff better.
