Hard to rate the store with so many relevant factors going into a rating…. Product and selection - 3/4. Pricing and product availability - 3. Customer service and associate knowledge - 4. Store is still in Grand Opening mode, with borrowed associates from other stores. So, I’m keeping that in mind….I needed an outdoor plumbing item. On-line showed 14 in-stock. When I inquired about the item at the store, Associate in store initially said “special order” only. I insisted that the product was most likely in the store somewhere. Upon further investigation, the store associate found that indeed, the product was in-stock. No apology offered. I had to pick the product up outside, in the yard. The young man working at the gate referred to me as “Buddy” a few times while corresponding with him. That was odd - He’s not my buddy. I needed help loading the product that I was picking up and there was no one to be found…. I asked a nearby manager to page someone to help me. She did and no one came. I ended up loading the product myself. Given the ample competition in the area, most likely, I will choose another store next time.

I love this store! I almost love everything about it the price, products and people. However, I was very sad to learn that they are NOT pet friendly! 😢 I take my little guy everywhere so I guess that will be a problem when it comes to really shopping, Lowe’s DO allow pets and comparable prices. Please change this policy so I may shop where I want not where I have to!

The store itself was beautiful with lots of options which I love. The employees, however, need a lesson in customer service. Out of 11 employees, only one greeted us and asked us if we were finding everything okay. Again, the store is gorgeous but let's do better with customer service.

I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was very early in the morning and they had just opened. I could not find the tube of caulk I needed but knew from their website it was in aisle 70. I approached a group 4 employees at a kiosk looking at something on their computer. I politely asked a young man towards the back where I would find aisle 70 in the store. He looked at me with a smirk and said "Usually it is between aisle 69 and 71". After a couple seconds he could tell my shock had turned to instant anger when I told him, "Never mind I will find it myself." Instantly he went into super sickening helpfull mode but all he could do is watch me walk out. I won't be back, ever.

I finally went to the new menards in my town of gaylord. I was looking at garden plants. A sale sign read "perennials $3.99" I double checked that I had the right size. I did. They were perennials. The sign was literally right next to the plants I was picking out. When I went to the cashier I said that they should all be $3.99. She scans them but they're showing up as $5.99. I point it out to her. She calls a manager. I explain to the Mgr. He's not interested in anything I say. He calls for a price check. They respond. He says they're not $3.99. I walk back to the garden center. I ask for the person who's in charge. We walk to the sign that clearly says $3.99. She acknowledges the sign and says she's call the Mgr. She then removes the sign. When I reach the checkout again the Mgr says no one has contacted him and the price is not $3.99. I tell him to contact them again.he does and reduces the price. No apology from either the mgr or check out girl. No ownership of their incompetence wasting 10 minutes of my time. The check out girl then forgets to give me my change and curses and says she's done that 3xs today. Mgr comes back. No apologies again. I have been treated as an annoyance just for wanting to get the price that was advertised. That was menards only chance. I'll never go there again.

We went to Menards in Gaylord Sat. to get some landscape timbers and waited in line in the garden center then was told we had to go all the way to the front of the store to pay for them then walk all the way back to our vehicle at the front of the garden center then drive around to the back of the store to get the wood we needed. The girl at the gate told us to go into building 19 with hardly any room to turn around we realized they were not even in that building they were over on the other side of the lumber yard outside. We have never been so frustrated and literally run all over that huge store! It was not customer friendly at all to make people have to run all over like that. Then the carts you get when you enter the building are made for Sasquatch they are so tall and huge. You're arms are killing you from having them up so high to reach the handle to push it around. I saw several older people who couldn't see hardly over the handle bar. I hate those carts. We will not be back to your store it was a totally frustrating experience!

Fully stocked, lots of friendly help that know where products are located. I bought several items that were half the price compared to the other 2 big box stores. Free items during grand opening.

Order to 2 * 6 * 20 structural integrity board wolmanized part of it had big holes in it from the knots part of it was live edge definitely not a good quality board Oregon 2 weeks later new one showed up half the board is live edge definitely not a good bored so I canceled my order and wired my money order joist hangers for a 2 by 6 the wrong ones on theshelf those fit a 2 by 4 a lot of stuff wrong with this place I understand it's a new store but get your head out of your grass I'll go to home Depot or Lowe's what their wolmanized lumber I had to go through two and a half bunks to find decent wolmanized lumber needed 4x4 wolmanize had to go through three bunks to find 8 decent ones very disappointed in the quality of lumberwolmanized 4 x 4 is 8 ft had to go through three bumps to find a 4 x 4 x 8 ft 4 x 4 8 ft

Menards discriminates people with disabilities. They have no electric carts/wheelchairs. Needing a transplant I can't walk the store with my husband.
