Jay's has a good clothing and shoes sections plus great selection of hiking, camping gear, etc... However, the prices are too high. The clearance racks have some good deals.

Nice store, good selection in most departments. Would love to purchase clothing there, but too expensive. Even clearance items are too much. I guess they cater to the well off in the clothing departments, not your average consumer.

Another place you could spend all day at and a lot of money if you're not cautious. Get your man a gift card here if his birthdays coming up! You won't be sorry!

Great selection and sometimes it surprises me what they actually do carry. The staff is really nice and have been very helpful to me and a friend of mine. Higher prices but can be well worth it.

They provide many products from clothes, hunting gear, guns, crossbow, fishing gear, kayaks, and food processing equipment and supplies.However, they are very pricey. This store allows you to see and touch the item. But I have found it to be cheaper shopping online for the same products.Staff always seems bored and watching the clock to go home.

This was my first time visiting in Gaylord MI, and I had to find out what this Jay's was all a out. Well let me tell you, it's pretty amazing. They have everything you need for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, shooting, and more. I walked out with a pair of boots, cast iron cooking gear, hot dog roaster, some hats, and cool stickers for my Jeep! Staff was super friendly, helpful and everywhere you turned. I will definitely be back! Oh, and don't forget to get a doughnut too.

Jay's recently helped me with a pistol transfer from here to my daughter in California, which can be tricky with California gun laws. The people at Jay's were extremely helpful, especially Adell/Adele (not sure about spelling). She called the dealer in California and arranged everything. All I had to do was drop the pistol off at Jay's. Thanks to Adell and everyone at Jay's.

Not really into guns but had to grab some ammo with a friend. The staff were all very knowledgeable and very kind. I have been judged in shops local to me in Philadelphia so it was very nice to be treated like a human. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Surprisingly full sporting goods store with a huge selection. Had anything and everything you may need for the outdoors. Clothing selection and brands were really great as well. Would definitely return the next time we’re in the area. Was obviously a favorite with the locals as there were many waiting outside for the store to open!

Great sporting goods store. I make the drive to the Clare location even though I live close to the big expensive competitor. Love the selection of knives they have on hand. Staff is always friendly and willing to help!
