My precious gecko had died early that morning, I was devastated and felt rushed to figure out what to do. I stumbled upon this crematorium and rushed over. When I entered the crematorium that was the first time I took a breath since she passed. They were very respectful and gave me time to mourn and say goodbye. This is one the best cremation experiences I’ve ever had. It was all very personalized. Thank you to everyone who works there, you were truly the best.I highly recommend this place to anyone who just lost a pet and wants to get them cremated.

I cannot say enough how grateful we are for your wonderful care of our Posh the pomeranium. We lost her at 1 am and when we called them the care and compassion was trenendous Pam was awesome and made the process as comfortable as possible.. The center opened early for us and came out and handled everything. When we picked her up the next day we talked with Crystal for over 30 minutes. They truly are professionals and are so caring. The nice touch of seeds to plant and paw prints was very special. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us.

On February 10th we had to take our Shepard to Jensen's in Petoskey because a vet wasn't available in otsego county for end of life care. The receptionist at Jensen's made a mistake with our paw print order, Jensen's and family pet cremation worked together to fix this error. But did not impress me. On Monday February 18th I contacted the crematory in regards to the possibility that when they retrieved and completed our order we could be directly contacted and pick up the prints here in Gaylord. They failed to do so and here it is February 24th and her dad had to drive the 34 plus miles to Petoskey when our fur kid was handled her in Gaylord. These services aren't services that could be corrected by future interactions. Three trips to Petoskey when family pet cremation is literally 3 miles from my home.. my suggestion is make vividly clear your expectations of service and when they disappoint, because they will, make sure to present that in form of review and share your experience. Good or bad. The people here seem very nice but again these aren't services to reuse or frequent, at least I'd hope not. I'm grateful she is the one and only dog I ever raised and I will not be putting myself though these experiences to be disappointed by Jensen's or this establishment again.

Our beloved dog Sadie passed away and we drove 3 hours to have her cremated at this facility. Everyone is very kind and compassionate. You will not find a better cremation center for your pets when needed.

Likely my hardest day this year was having to do the deed every pet owner eventually comes to –Bill, Pam & Crew at Family Pet Cremation couldn’t have done anything better with the hard experience that already comes with that day.They’re truly Caring, Professional, & Accommodating.They're facility is Clean, Comfortable, and overall - Top Notch.We can’t say enough about how well they treated us & our final good-bye’s to our fur-baby…

We live down state and when we were around Gaylord and our husky passed suddenly we took her to Family Pet Cremation. They were so accommodating to get her remains back to us before we went home. An incredibly difficult situation was made easier for us. 3 weeks later I had to have my other 2 put down because of medical issues. The place around home that I took them to lacked a great deal compared to Family Pet. I told my husband if we lost anymore pets I would drive them 4 hours to Gaylord to get the service and compassion we got here. Thank you for everything.

I had never taken a pet anywhere to get cremated before, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. They were extremely kind and compassionate, and they made the experience as comfortable as possible for me and my family. When I picked up my bird Douglas, she had his ashes in a beautiful bag. She had also added a little bird charm, and a charm with wings. It was very touching and meant a lot to me. I would absolutely go through them again if needed.

We brought our Marshmallow here to be cremated let me say they exceeded our expectations for sure. Not only were they so kind and compassionate, I could tell that they really do care about what they do there. Everyone we spoke with there the past few days have been so kind to us. What an exceptional facility! Crystal was nothing short of amazing. We are heartbroken at the sudden loss of 14 year old, very special Brittany boy, and Crystals compassion and genuine caring helped us through an unbearable situation. Crystal was absolutely the kindest to my family going through the sudden loss of our baby boy Dom! She explained the process and never rushed us. We experienced sincere compassion from this stranger. It was quite literally the worst day of our lives. We lost our Meeko without any warning.It was right after they closed, and they didn’t hesitate to come in. When we arrived they were welcome, and so understanding. They complemented how beautiful my boy was, and you could tell their hearts were genuine. Their facility is full of memories of beloved pets and it made my husband and I feel less alone. It was a warm and comforting facility all things consideredThey handled everything with so much care and respect and I don’t think we could’ve found a better place to help us in the final stages of our Meeko’s life. They will treat you like family, and love your dog as their own.

The lady who helped us was SPECTACULAR! Our sweet boy Milo passed very suddenly in the morning, and I called her that day (still bawling) and she got us in the same day.She was so sympathetic and understanding of everyones different ways of processing, and grieving. (For example, my husband needed to see him one last time before we left, and I couldnt bring myself too because I was with him when he passed)The urns they offer are beautiful and they have all different styles and varieties for all sorts of pets, as well as keepsake jewelry, and beautiful glass pieces blown with your pets cremains.The grieving room is so cozy, it doesnt feel like you are in a funeral home, it feels like you are in a loved ones living room sharing stories about your sweet pets.They also go the extra mile! We had requested an ink paw stamp, and she did paws, nose, and even gave us a lock of his fur in a super sweet box (which I had been to nervous to even request, even though I wanted it)I know this is a very long review, but the point is, this place took what was one of our worst days ever, and we left knowing that he was in good hands with her, and made what I was scared would be a traumatic experience, into one filled with love, support, and caring ❤If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Losing my sweet boy, Gideon (a standard poodle) has been devastating, but I am so impressed and so grateful to everyone at Family Pet Cremation Centers. They have treated me like family, helped me mourn, and handled Gideon with the utmost care and reverence. When I left him there, I felt like I was leaving him with someone who loved him as much as I did. Their services are exceptional, their memorial products are stunning and their prices are super reasonable. They never made me feel like they were just a business trying to make a buck. In fact, because the cost was so reasonable, I really didn't even have to think about it when deciding what I wanted. During one of the most difficult times of my life, Family Pet Cremation Centers made everything as easy as possible and really helped me grieve and say goodbye to Gideon in a lovely way.

We had such a positive experience for such a sad situation. Having lost our lab to cancer, they got us right in within an hour of calling. They are just wonderful there Crystal who was helping us today helped us with our cat Samson who yesterday had to be put down she just helped us we were able to view Samson just like a funeral home and she put a little flower between him then she talked to us a little bit and just comfort Us in hard times and we live in Sault Ste Marie Michigan and yet they were willing to get him ready the same day and for us to pick him up and bring him home and while we're waiting in town got a bite to eat she was getting everything ready for us to go and we got to meet the owner William Snow and he's just as wonderful they're just wonderful and I'm taught to Pam over the phone these people are just awesome people they make you feel like you're part of the family
