This is a huge store! Note the super cool Alpine exterior. True form for Gaylord. Store has everything. Huge wine and liquor selection. Meat counter was substantial. EZ check out.

Very good store , good sized parking lot , in store Starbucks ,dq store option. Clean produce , food , etc . Staffs are attentive , friendly , cost was competitive. Liked the interior of the store. Checkout lines were fast.

I walked into the store 5 min before close and literally picked out a box of popcorn (3 bag) and bag of dog treats and was checking out a minute before close but there were no lanes open and the “manager” Janet was there and informed me that I could not buy the items and would need to come back at 7 am to purchase them…..? I asked why I was not able to purchase them and she said I just couldn’t and she had already closed her register. I even offered to pay cash double the value of the items if that was helpful just so that I could get the items I was there for and to not make an ordeal out of the door being unlocked and me being in the store clearly before closing and up to the counter before closing. She was extremely rude and anything but helpful and it definitely put a damper on the end of an already exhausting day. Hopefully they can get better management and orEmployees who actually care about helping clients out and or communicating calmly and controlled to resolve any future issues. Not to say that the normal employees I’ve encountered there over the past two years have not been nice and helpful but unfortunately Janet was far from it. . ( I may be being petty but it isn’t necessary to treat a paying customer like she did especially after I had tried to resolve the situation as rationally and reasonably as possible…..)

Personnel is almost always friendly & helpful, clean organized store. The family fare store chain (formally Glenn’s) has always had the best fried chicken, & whole baked chickens!

I love this place it's such a convenient place to shop so clean and organized really love the atmosphere.This place has really turned around the products are so well presented and continuously stock.Honestly I find the floors amazingly clean and the products up to date.The staff is the friendliest most helpful I have found yet I love the slow pace and family type atmosphere.

What a nice store. Clean. Great selection of meats and produce as well as other goods. Prices are about as good as can be expected given the high inflation. Nice parking lot. Easy to get out of lot even on busy street. I found things in abundance i have not seen in months. I love the motif of the building.

Many things are overpriced, even with their "discounts". But it's a decent size store, they have a great selection that I appreciate, and my littles love the cars attached to the carts :)

Friendly Gaylord institution. Well stocked. Great for a quick pop-in. Prices higher than my big weekly shopping at Aldi would be. Deli carries Boars Head meats. Only grocery in town that does.

Called to see if they would blow my daughters birthday balloons up for a fee. Spoke with Chris and he said absolutely and to bring them to customer service. I do.Waited 10 minutes for an employee to come over. Her name was Heather. She very rudely told she will not fill my balloons because they weren’t purchased here. Not a problem. I’ll buy them here.They didn’t have any. I need a foil gold 1 and pink latex balloons.I told her I was told they would do it and may I please speak to the manager. She VERY RUDLEY AGAIN told me she was the manager. (Later found out that was a lie)I then asked another employee where I could find balloons in a package cause I’ll buy 40-100 at this point and pay whatever to fill them. (I just REALLY needed them)She said she would blow the ones I brought in up. This employee was PHENOMENAL. Complete opposite of Heather who very frankly SHOULD NOT be in customer service. I understand there is a helium shortage but for god sakes there is a way to say stuff. When two employees tell me they can and one is just being rude…It’s kinda ridiculous.Shout out to you Lisa! YOU WERE AMAZING and 5 stars for you!

We ordered catering from the deli at the Family Fare for a reunion. Michelle did the BEST job with our order - on top of making delicious, presentable and wonderful food, she took the time to go thru the order to make sure we were happy. You cannot go wrong ordering from her!!

Absolutely love this place!!!! Always in and out quickly...The deli is amazing especially Michelle she is so helpful so sweet we love her smiling face and her kind demeanor!!!! Store is well stocked and very clean..prices may be a tad bit higher but when shopping is enjoyable it's so worth it!!!!

I’m a full time working, single mother of 3 kids! My 8 yo had broken his tooth while I was at work. He then woke up, Bc it started hurting. We live right down the rd from family fare. So I called 5 min before closing and desperately asked, if they could give us one min to grab oral gel. I told them that my son just woke up crying, and asked can u please help me?! The lady on the phone was nice. But the lady in the background was obnoxiously yelling NOOOOO! Nooooo! Nooooo, we close in under 5 min. My daughter arrived there and saw them locking the door as she was pulling in. They still had 3 min to spare, and they would not let her in! I understand wanting to go home, after working all night. BUT how can you lock up a few min early and not have any compassion on a crying child??!!!!! SMH

Not a bad place to shop. Especially for the BANG energy drinks, they have literally have every flavor, their alcoholic selection is pretty diverse. Overall they have a good and diverse product selection. Only downfall would be the prices of their products. Otherwise it's a decent store to shop at

Don't waste your time and money here. Absolutely awful how this is a corporate run store and only one of four bottle returns ever works. They say they have a "maintenance man" who works on the machines all the time. Well fire his a**, because they're always broken. Or maybe Spartan/Nash should put some money into their store for once. They haven't done anything to that store since they bought it off the Catt family years and years ago. It's sad. Save yourself the time and aggravation and just go to Walmart to shop and return cans or drive to the other end of town to go to Meijer. You'll thank yourself in the long run. Funny I told employees I was going to leave a one star review and complain about the bottle returns and they told me, please do, maybe it will help get something done around here. Even the employees know Spartan/Nash is a joke. Don't waste your money in this store. In this case Walmart the "big box store" wins.

Exceptional customer service! I made the mistake of leaving my wallet in the cart. I live about 45 minutes away. We were half way in to our journey home when I realized I had forgotten it. I called the store and spoke with Christine at the customer service desk. She said nothing had been turned in, but said she would go check carts out in the parking lot. A couple minutes later, she came back on the phone and said she had found it. I could tell she had ran because she was out of breath. We drove back to the store and there was my wallet completely in tact. She went above and beyond to put me at ease. Aside from customer service, the store has a great hometown feel with a great variety of fresh products. I won't hesitate to spend my money here. And Christine, if you read this, thanks again for your assistance. You are awesome!

I've shopped here for years. Store is neat and clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Great deli and bakery. An abundance of fresh produce. Meat Dept. has a great selection of meats. Pharmacy employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I ran in to grab a warm chicken breast and the lady in the deli was slicing lunch meat to package and put on the shelf and told me she would be with me in a moment. 3 minutes went by and i was the only customer. I feel like she should have stopped what she was doing and put the customer first. She was rude, would not recommend going to the deli whens she's working because you would be standing there waiting while she finished what she was doing, even though she would have to continue to do the same thing as soon as she was done helping the customer.

I use their Fast Lane shopping almost every week. All the shoppers do a great job picking out our food, making sure the fruits & veggies are fresh, & that the milk expiration date isn't soon. They're terrific!
