Such a fun place for the whole family! Took the kids a few weeks ago for cider & donuts. Had fun interacting with the animals, enjoying the drinks & live music. Kids had a blast playing & doing the activities that were offered. An amazing place for the whole family, we will definitely be coming back.

We absolutely love Soil Farms. The family friendly atmosphere is enjoyable for all ages. We enjoyed crafted hard cider while kids picked out pumpkins. We also visited last year to pick our Christmas tree and take Christmas photos. They have a really great selection of trees to find your perfect one. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Great atmosphere with amazing and genuine people! There's a very delicious taco truck, they have adult hard Cider to go with them and then you can have a delicious hard Cider float for dessert!!Ps... don't worry there is Cider for the kiddos as well.Ya gotta come check them out!!!And don't forget about Christmas on the farm as well! Santa, Christmas tree, wreaths and so much more!!!!

I enjoyed my whole experience here. The Welcoming Committee consists of a very sweet dog who does a great job of making you feel immediately welcome. The goats & the other two dogs in the goat pens are all very friendly. The hard cider is delicious. The donuts are delicious. Wyatt weighed our pumpkins & gourds, he was very friendly and very helpful, too!! We will be returning & making Soil Friends our new Fall Tradition!

My wife and I had her daughter share a Facebook page of this place with their apple cider float. We decided to make a family evening here with 3 of her daughters, granddaughter, and my son. The owner greeted us as we walked up and gave us the run down of everything. He was very helpful in telling us where everything was and directing us to a wheelbarrow to load up our pumpkins in. We got some food at the taco truck, donuts and cider as well as some apples for the apple cannon (my favorite part). We then picked a bunch of pumpkins and gourds and had a great trip there. We drove from over an hour away and are planning to come back before seasons end. Would recommend for a family friendly time for donuts, pumpkins, and cider.

Kids had a blast with all the activities (playground, animals, zip line, pumpkin painting, Apple cannon, etc.) while us adults enjoyed the delicious ciders ;) Donuts were delicious and we grabbed lunch from the food truck on our way out. A great fall afternoon. Worth the 30+ minute drive for us :).

Every time we’ve visited the farm with our young kids regardless of the weather we end up staying 2+ hours. Good food, AMAZING donuts, fun atmosphere and a beautiful space to just enjoy being outside with family or friends. We’ve been to several fall fun type places with the kids which some can be $$$$ ! price points at soilfriends are great, not to mention what you do spend is supporting local and you’ll meet and see the family while you visit.

We went the other weekend and I was impressed with the hospitality. I grabbed a cider and about five minutes later was approached by one of the owners because he didn't like the way that the batch turned out. He didn't want me to drink it and grabbed a different kind for me. Most establishments are all about making money and it is clear that Soil Friends are looking out for their customers and producing quality products.

Such an amazing hidden gem! Friendly staff and animals, activities for the kids, tons of pumpkins to peruse along with food, baked goods, and hard cider made and sold on site. If you haven't checked out the farm it's a must do during fall.

Had a great time this morning! Their hard cider is amazing, they have beautiful dogs who greet you, the owners make it a point to introduce themselves and tell you about their pumpkin farm. Very well managed and fun stuff to do! We will be recommending this place to our friends and family

This is my family’s favorite fall/winter place to go, HANDS DOWN!! The family that owns soil friends is unbelievably kind, helpful, and goes out of their way to serve you and make you feel at home. It doesn’t have the commercialized feel, which I love, and has entertainment for children and adults of all ages! Love it. 10/10. Highly recommend:)

We love Soil Friends! It’s been great going there for our fall pumpkins and Christmas trees and supporting a local family business. Our daughter had so much fun this past weekend picking out her pumpkin and seeing the goats. Also donuts were delicious!

I can't say enough good things about Soil Friends. Your fun changes with the season. You'll find tacos, cider and lots of other treats. You can enjoy them around the fire, while taking to a new friend. You can get your Halloween pumpkins and Christmas trees. You have access to the family farm and it's animals. The goats are so fun! You can walk the beautiful property, highly recommended around fall. You can even book a private party. My favorite season to visit is summer, for the fresh flowers. You can buy a precut bouquet or cut them yourself. The family is the sweetest and happy to help. I highly recommend a visit.

We had such a blast here! It was our first time and we were blown away at how much they had to offer. Lots of fun for our nephews, they loved the all the animals and we loved the hard cider! Such a great family and we were so happy to support them!

A real hidden treasure in Galesburg! We had never been before, and decided to pack the kids up and head out. We were instantly greeted by the sweetest dog! Kids loved the FREE bounce house and other kid activities. Amazing hard cider and doughnuts. I highly recommend checking them out! We will definitely be back.

Great vibes here & the friendliest folks! Best hard cider served on draft or cans - the food stand is also nice.It's very cool around the holidays, but they always seem to have a lot of entertainment & things to do for kids regardless of the time of year.Oh ... and there's tons of animals to see!

We went to Soil Friends this fall, and it was so great! A TON of pumpkins, cider, donuts, and animals! My toddler loved the goats. The doggos are so cute and friendly. The family who owns this place are so friendly and the kids are very helpful as well! We enjoyed tacos and hard cider by the bonfire and wandered around the property. Lots to do for all ages! Love this place and will definitely be a new tradition.

Our favorite farm to celebrate the fall and winter holidays at! The owners are so friendly and the prices are very reasonable! The food truck there was a 10/10 as well. So delicious. You can tell they only use fresh and quality ingredients! They also have a wide variety of produce and other perishable items they sell like salsas, desserts, etc. I bavent even mentioned the activities and animals they have for kids! Love this place! We have a 45 minute drive and it’s worth it every time!

Soil Friends did not disappoint! It's our new favorite fall place. My husband had the hard cider and I had a harvest mimosa while we walked around the farm! The donuts are so good too!

Fun place with plenty of room for the kids to run around, pet animals. The pumpkin selection was amazing! Yellow, warty, gourds, carving, pie … you name it they had it! The hard ciders were delicious, some dryer ones (thank you) and sweet ones. The donuts were amazing, and we liked the food truck (tacos, delish). Can’t wait to check them out for future holidays 🙌🏼

Chicken quesadilla, loaded chicken nachos & steak tacos Mexican style.The home made chips & salsa are the best I’ve ever had! Fresh, great flavor, not spicy salsa paired with crunchy and airy chips.The white queso on the nachos is creamy and gooey, delicious!Being able to enjoy locally grown food while also walking around a farm with so much to see and enjoy, is a very wonderful experience.

My husband and I went looking for pumpkins a few weeks ago and we felt so welcomed! The owner greeted us and let us know what was going on that day. We were able to enjoy some donuts and hard cider before walking around to find the perfect pumpkins. Oh… and the fire pits were amazing as the days were starting to get a little chilly and my husband had decided to wear shorts😂

This place is so relaxing and fun!! I would highly recommend Soil Friends Farm to anyone and everyone, regardless of your age, there is something for everyone. The hard Ciders are delicious, the animals are so darn cute, and the fire pits are fun to sit around and chat with friends and family. Do yourself a favor and get a few of the Maple bacon donuts, yes I said a few because 1 doesn't cut it!!! Thank you for having such a cool place close to gone for everyone to enjoy!! Keep up the great work!
